This is a fantastic hotel with AIR CONDITIONING in a good location. We will be back. First, air conditioning is hard to find in Germany and isn't even a searchable amenity on Booking, which is insane. Temperatures hit 38C/100F in June around our stay, and air con was much appreciated (necessary, I would say). King size bed was massive and comfortable. We had no balcony, but it would have overlooked a street and the parking lot, so it's not something I would pay for. Mini fridge, desk, and kettle were great. But I might have traded some of the room space for a bigger bathroom. It was really tight in there. But the water pressure and temperature were excellent, and all furnishings and fittings were quite nice. TV was giant, as others point out. But without streaming services or the ability to plug in a USB (mounted close to wall), the TV wasn't much use to us. Walls between rooms were good; we didn't hear other guests. But we did wake up to slamming doors in the hallway early morning. But the blackout curtains were awesome, and we went right back to sleep. Cold air and a giant bed will work wonders. Nice linens too. Supermarket next door was helpful (closed on Sundays). But the location was even better than expected. It's over a kilometer to town, but you don't have to walk the busy street. There is an easy path immediately to the river front, and that takes you straight to the bridge and be Old Town. We loved having a peaceful stroll to the city center without having to stay in it (and park in it). Hotel has two types of paid parking. Out front were very small places for €5 or €6 per night, but we preferred the larger spaces and weather protection of the covered parking for €15 per night. Also, quick note that we liked the hotel and town so much we stayed an extra day. Reception helped us with that in the middle of the night. Everyone at reception spoke excellent English and was very friendly.

Loved the hotel. But small negatives would be smallish bathroom, TV had no streaming or USB access, and parking spaces outside were quite small. But underground parking was excellent. Also, air conditioning can struggle in high temperatures, but this one did not. Super impressed.

The hotel was easy to find, had parking available, near a grocery store. The restaurant was open for breakfast and dinner. It was within walking distance to the entrance of the Maria Hilf staircase. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the Cathedral Square. One could also take a bus or car to the center and pay for parking. Personnel were efficient. Had an elevator and it was airconditioned.

The restaurant no longer serves lunch even though its blackboard and ad on the elevator stated that "hot meals begin at 1300". The sign was eventually taken down

We were on our half way to Hungary, so we had only an overnight in the hotel. We could not explore the surrounding, but I found nit that charming during my morning walk. The hotel is modern. Our room was not very big, but it was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast. The parking area was full late night, so we decided to park oir car in the garaga. It costs 15 EUR/day.

It seems to be a tipical place for the start of Danube cruises, so.it can be crowded from time to time.

Big, spacious, clean room

When I’ve booked the hotel, I’ve asked if I can reserve a parking space. The answer was “the hotel is not reserving the parking spaces”. When I’ve arrived at the hotel, I have parked the car into the hotel’s car park, but I’ve been told that I have to move my car because the parking spaces are reserved, and I can park my car accros the street, into a public car park. Very dissapointed about the situation.

The rooms are very modern, it also got a fridge. That helps a lot. It is a minibar, but empty and cold enough for drinks and snacks. Very big TV, comfortable bed + a balcony! You can easily walk along the Inn to Old Town, about 15 minutes. But better, take the bus to ZOB, bus stop right in front of the hotel! You got a supermarket right across the hotel. But they close at 8pm.

This is not my first visit to this hotel. Even if I need to drive an extra 100-150 km, I always try to stay here. The underground parking, great service, cozy rooms, and a good breakfast all create a wonderful atmosphere

Our second time staying here, this time we had the family room with living room and bedroom and it was super spacious and comfortable and lot more quieter then our previous room. We were with our two dogs and they were welcomed. The staff is super nice and they will help you with any request you have even if it’s late at night when you arriving. We had everything we needed and even parking super close by.

The bathroom is a little compact but it is what it is, still was very clean so perfect.

Even though the hotel is not in Passau’s main area, this hotel has a good location. Everything is clean and the beds are super comfortable.

I stayed two nights, and both times, people from the hotel entered my room after knocking on the door just once. It was 11:30 a.m., so just 30 minutes after check-out. I believe they have the right to call us out, but not enter the room without notice.

The location is well placed. The breakfast is good. All you should have in your mind is that if you use th location as your one night stop for a longer trip, you have to accept some strange rules regarding the parking. Otherwise everything is very good.

More clear rules for the parking. It is strange to find a parking spot and then to be announced at the reception that you can not park there even if it was a parking spot of the hotel.

Everything was good. The Lady at the reception was very kind and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was big and comfortable.

They have just a few parking places, so we couldn’t park the car, we had to park in a public parking place outside. But the receptionist was nice and helped us sownloading the app for the parking.
