An enchanting, fairytale Schloss. Absolutely fantastic Hotel!!! Everything about Schloss Ort is amazing. The location is beautiful with stunning views of the river and surrounding area. The entire hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds and rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace is a dream. The food is delicious and the ambiance is tranquil and serene. But, the best thing about Schloss Ort, and what truly makes it exceptional is the owner and staff. From the moment you walk in, the owner, Alexandra, and her assistant, Eva, make you feel like family coming home. The entire staff at Schloss Ort makes every effort to insure you feel welcome and your stay is a stress free delight. We will only stay at Schloss Ort when we travel to Passau. In fact, we arrange our travel dates depending on when Schloss Ort has availability and we can stay there. Don’t miss the chance to experience Schloss Ort!!!

The accommodation is located in the heart of Passau's historic old town, within walking distance of the Dreiflüsseeck. The windows face the Inn River. The room was nicely decorated and spacious, with a scenic view of the Inn River and the surrounding hills. There was a water kettle and a minibar in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with local specialities and many healthy choices. The coffee was great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the river from our lovely Junior Suite. The location of the hotel was quiet and peaceful and convenient to shops, restaurants and museums.

The bathroom in our Junior Suite with River View had not been renovated so was older style with a step in shower. Face washers would have been appreciated for washing our face. We also would have liked tea and coffee making facilities for an early morning cup of tea.

Whenever you book a “budget room” somehow your expectations are already low. However our stay was excellent! The room was big and spacious. Very chic decor. And the window opened to the beautiful river side, by which the hotel actually stands. The staffs were very friendly and always smiling. Helped us to get a room with a great view as requested. Helped us with an umbrella because it just rained the entire weekend we were there. The breakfast was basic but good enough for €11 per person. I loved everything about the hotel and would certainly keep coming back right here.

The room was large with a sitting area, an office area, entry hall, and bedroom. Everything was very clean and well decorated. The staff was very friendly.The location was perfect, in the old part of town, and near the bicycle trail

My only complaint would have been that the key didn't work well in the lock, but on the second day they came and replaced the lock.

Absolutely unique place, Hotel: everything clean, nice equipment including details. The staff was extraordinarily kind: called me suggesting parking, then waiting in front of the hotel to help us to park the car, kind staff in the breakfast room as well.

I booked my staying on the go, just at the reception closing hours and arrived one hour later. The hosts still made it all to go effortless for me. Thank you! It's a nice place to stay, located in an older/historical building with a charm, in an old town area.

What a wonderful hotel. Beautiful location aside the Inn River, wonderful outside patio overlooking the river, lovely breakfast room and great breakfast. The best thing was the wonderful room with a sitting area, comfy bed and fabulous modern bathroom. We loved everything about it and the town of Passau is lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous location, the view from our room was stunning. Very good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Inn river, couldn’t be better. Very comfortable bed. There was even parking right next to the hotel, something I never expected in Passau old Town!

This small family-run hotel is a true gem. The historic building (some 800 years old!) offers a really cozy atmosphere. The view from our room was breathtaking (river/hill), especially at night. Breakfast is very tasty and made with love.

There was nothing we didn’t like.
