The location is within walking distance from the train station. It was quiet at night even though there is a little bar down on the street level. The staff was very attentive to the request and was willing to get things done. Cafe Simon across the street was an excellent place for breakfast.

Keep in mind the followings: no elevator, no A/C, and a tiny shower stall. All rooms are on floor 2 to 4. It will be very tiring and difficult if you have big luggages.

Heritage building. Availability of tea, coffee and sparkling water. Fantastic central location in old town meant we could walk everywhere. Clean and comfortable.

Mirrors and bedside lamps in all rooms. As this listed as a hostel it would be good to have laundry facilities for guests. Ore frequently cleaning in common rooms.

Very clean room and shared bathroom. Very spacious. No queue for shared bathroom. 24hr check in was great as our train arriving in Passau was very delayed. Location was ideal and good breakfast recommendation very close by

Stairs and corridor were loud when people walk around.

The staff was welcoming and allowed us to store our bags before the rooms were ready. The location is central in town, which makes it initially hard to reach from the train station, but also allowed easy access to central Passau. The best part is the enclosed courtyard garden in the back, which has a giant rock wall (I did not get its origin) and a little table that is perfect for having a drink and conversation.

It can be a challenge to carry your bags up the multiple flights of stairs. The room was very warm at night (and this was early May) and when I opened the window the breeze was nice - but there was a lot of noise from the street, which made me close the window. The central location can be busy at night!

I love the way this hotel property had such beautifully decorated rooms. I also like the fact that it was so central to the old city.

It was inconvenient to only have a shared bathroom and toilet. However, that’s the problem with the historic building.

Old big windows that did not allow tilting, the street in front of the hotel was noisy in the morning

The room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. Location was very convenient and walkable.

Trying to find the washrooms for the first time up a small flight of stairs at night was a bit awkward, and one of them was rather cramped.

No air conditioning or fan…was very hot both nights. Also I walked past the hotel 3 times before I found it with the help of a local … the signage is tiny!

Clean, spacious and modern facilities done with a touch of artistic flair.

The street front entrance is very discreet and we walked right past it initially. So you need to be observant. But once you know, it’s not a problem.

Room was good at the top of several flights of stairs with separate private bathroom. Location in middle of old town is excellent. Breakfast (paid extra) across the road cafe was excellent.

Keypad entry system was a bit quirky; (Push the door hard as you can as you enter the last digit.)
