The hotel is fabulous - and for us it was more of an apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There is a separate restaurant within the hotel and their food is FAB-U-LOUS!! We had schnitzels for our meal twice as they were the best we'd ever had! All the food was perfectly presented - we were very impressed. There is a bicycle trail at the back of the hotel which is busy and brings in more customers for the restaurant😄 Hubby walked from Trier centre along the Mosel and it took him 2 hours. Would love to re-visit.

The location is a 15min bus trip from Trier centre at the Porta Nigra and the stop is Ruwer Bahnhof (fare €3.80 single or a group day ticket for up to 5 people for €16.50). The buses are mostly hourly - nos 20, 86, 220 and 221 but the Sunday 07.53 bus did not turn up and we had another hot wait for 30 mins for the next bus. No real problem but be prepared to call a taxi if you need to take an early Sunday train/flight.

The owners were approachable and kind. You sense their dedication to the business. They have free (outdoor) parking. The rooms are cleaned everyday. They have a lovely terrace by the restaurant. The restaurant service was also nice. It is located in a calm part of Trier.

Consider that the rooms do not have a/c. This can be challenging in the summer. So we bought an electric fan. There are also no kettles in the room. So you have to go down to the restaurant or bring your own.

Friendly staff and quiet area with no disturbances. Good basic hotel with excellent Wifi and television, not far from Trier on the bus, but no cafe in the area where it would be possible to have a cafe and croissant in the mornings

Not happy with the Restaurant where the music was dreadful, no tea or coffee in the room, was not particularly happy with the breakfast on offer, and no one available in reception during most of the day

The breakfast was excellent: fresh baked bread and a lot of toppings to choose from. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Really friendly staff. Excellent location just outside the city centre. Also a great Italian restaurant next door with excellent food at decent prices.

A little bit warm without airconditioning. Opened the windows, but then -as the rooms were on the street side- got traffic noise. Not too much to worry about, but was unexpected. I would choose a room with airco, next time when in hot weather conditions.

The room was quiet and very well appointed. The shower was modern clean and easy to operate, though the shower floor was extremely slippy. The dining room very modern and the breakfast supperb.

The hotel seemed to share it's building with a restaurant and as a result we eat "next door" and left without paying bu mistake. Next time I would ensure that we eat in the hotel dining room. Electric bike charging was not easy.

It was very nice and kind person in reception . I stayed for one night because I worked at a location nearby. My room was small, but cozy. The place is quiet, calm. The breakfast was modest, but the coffee was served to me very tasty. The price corresponds to the quality.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and quiet. We felt connected with the nature and slept very well. Check in and check out were smooth and the person was very friendly. We came with the car and there were free parking spots in front of the hotel.

Very nice staff but online German speaking but they use translation app if needed. Bus station 100m walk and no issue to get into town. Tip:buy upfront trier card if you have min 4 rides to do. Card is valid 3 days and cost 15euro. A single ride is 3,40 euro. But the card also gives you discount in musea etc

Staff was great. Breakfast really yummy. They made fresh scrambled eggs for us as they didn't want us to have old dried out ones as we were a little later them the rest of the guests with breakfast. They asked when you would like it. The restaurant downstairs was not only convenient, but had Delicious food.

The beds were comfortable, but a little narrow

Clean, and comfortable mattress, no noise so I slept well. Ruwer is a nice location because you can walk up the cycle path along the river - which is beautiful. Good internet and good value.

I had no problems or anything to complain about.
