November 2024

2 adults Stayed here for just 3 nights Nov 11th 2024 Clean comfortable room with a view of the acropolis from the sunny but traffic noisy balcony. Complimentary bottle of water & red wine. Small amount of Tea & Coffee making stuff with tiny cups. Coffee machine & kettle & fridge. But what a strange bathroom, toilet is in the shower, so if you use the shower, which is lovely with loads of massage jets, the floor is soaking all day or night when you need to use the toilet you need footwear on or your feet are wet! There is another shower over the bath, but who wants to use that when there is a fancy one to use 🤔 That is the only thing wrong with this room & it's a BIG thing wrong🙄 Staff are wonderful, really helpful & speak great English🙂 Breakfast, buffet style, included in our booking is ok, not great, usual stuff, not very hot though fried eggs swimming in oil. No fresh made options. No bar as such, we came here to meet up with friends all staying here but no where really to go just for a drink & chat. Roof top restaurant food is great, but not comfortable for just & drink & relax. Nolicoli the waiter/bar man is very enthusiastic about his job, but also a little annoying. The hotel is within walking distance of the main town & if you get the hop on hop off bus, getting tickets from hotel reception saves 5€ per person & they will give you great directions & recommend places. You have to visit FAIRYTALE if you want dessert it's crazy in there & menu is amazing 10 min walk. Also Gelato de Nona is the best smooth silky & delicious gelato I've ever eaten 👌 8 min walk away. Would we stay here again & recommend this hotel, if we ever came to Athens, yes we probably would 🙂 as we have no experience of other hotels in the area. It's only that shower that was a nuisance.

Lovely hotel, comfortable room with great bathroom, shower and toiletries and we even had a view of the acropolis from our window. I chose this hotel for its rooftop restaurant with a great view of the acropolis, which was stunning. However the surrounding streets are pretty shabby with rough uneven roads and pavements, loads of graffiti and looks decayed although we did feel safe. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the beautiful acropolis area which is full of winding streets and charm, with cozy bars and a funky vibe, but this can feel too much, if like me, you need an afternoon siesta after the mornings walking! But the breakfast was great and the staff brilliant and went all out to make the best of our stay.

Only the surroundings, the area close to acropolis is much nicer

I had the most amazing view of the Acropolis and Parthenon and every day I woke up to that beautiful view. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the ensuite marble bathroom large and elegant Breakfast, which was included, was incredibly generous and there was so much fresh food to choose from, with both super healthy and decadent pastries as well as a delicious hot buffet. Dinner at the roof top restaurant included some of the best meals I have ever had and certainly the best in Athens this trip. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful, helping in many ways.

The area is undergoing a gentrification process but its proximity to Thisseio, the Parthenon, Plaka and Monastiraki are a real plus.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while . The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel provides nice touches when you arrive , a drink on arrival and a bottle of wine , water and local sesame bar in the room. The room itself was brilliant , get a room with a view of the Parthenon and Acropolis it’s just perfect. The room is clean and smells lovely. The area is within a quick walk of the metro with easy access to the airport and port and a little walk takes you to lots of the lovely sights Athens offers. Breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly .The hotel restaurant and bar on the 6th floor is amazing , again the view is to die for. The food was varied and tasty and staff really professional and kind. It’s a great hotel. Totally recommend.

Loved it all

The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and really go to great lengths to make your stay enjoyable. It is a really nice, small boutique hotel with exceptional service. Its location is walking distance to most attractions, etc. The views from the rooftop restaurant are stunning.

We were a group of 10 and a couple of the rooms had water temperature issues for a night or two. The buildings in the surrounding area iare covered with graffiti but we soon found virtually every area of Athens has the same issue. Once you leave the airport, you’ll notice it’s basically everywhere. Far more than any US city. At no time did we feel unsafe though.

Lovely boutique hotel, well located for touring Athens. Hotel parking option was great. We parked the car and walked everywhere! We were welcomed with a delicious cold drink, and by charming staff. The atmosphere us polished and very professional. The breakfast was the best we had in Greece!! And the rooftop bar/ restaurant was fabulous with a gorgeous view of the Acropolis. Our rooms were spacious, nicely furnished with lovely bathrooms. We had no view as we were on lower floors, but there are rooms with a view available.

We had no real complaints. Our view was a corregated roof and a wall... but the facilities made up for it!! The neighbourhood is urban and not an attraction in itself. It is, however, very convenient and a short walk from the central neighbourhoods.

Stayed 1 night only staff lovely hotel room was large we had the triple suite . It had the view of the acropolis. Beds and pillows super comfortable. Toilet in shower was a little odd which was in this particular room. We also had two shower options available in the triple suite. I didn’t get to do the buffet breakfast in the morning unfortunately as I drank too much the night before and was too sick to eat. However my husband and daughter had the breakfast and they said it was great.

Location. On our arrival to Athens at the first leg of our holiday we stayed on the opposite side of the acropolis / opposite side of this hotel and that location was awesome. It was clean and more upper class and a beautiful part of Athens. This hotel location was on the seedy side of Athens, dirty, scummy, and lots of homelessness and not much restaurants around. It was a 15 min walk to Plakka which wasn’t bad . Hotel was lovely but location isn’t great unfortunately.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - most of the time. The location is good - mostly. The hotel itself and its facilities are sufficient. The breakfast was surprisingly good - except for the coffee.

There was no hot water for a shower all of the time. In the morning, for example, there was no hot water at all. The staff promised to check the issue and to return to us, but they didn't. While the location of the hotel is OK, the immediate surrounding is ugly and dirty. Fortunately, you don't have to walk a lot to get to nicer places. The public areas of the hotel, like the lounge, are somewhat useless by design.

The room was amazing with a lovely view of the Parthenon. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were exceptional. Room was very spacious, with both a very comforting warm shower and bath for anyone who prefers. Very clean, with extras such as a coffee machine, bath robes, slippers, safe, TWO balconies, a sofa and a desk. Restaurant upstairs is a particular highlight. It has a view of the whole of Athens, absolutely beautiful at night, with a great selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Location is good, it's a 15 min walk to the nearest metro station, similarly short walk to the Parthenon and nearby attractions. Staff always willing to help with advice on seeing the city, with travel tips and recommendations.

The Hotel staff was courteous and welcomed us with a drink. Our Junior suite was overlooking the Parthenon, which was amazing. The Room service was amazing - very quick and polite. The food is of good value and is good in proportion as well. The menu is limited, though. We are vegetarians - that further chopped our options. Not entirely sure why, but every time the room was made up, they never replaced the cups and glasses in the room. We had to request from the reception. They were prompt, but not sure why it wasn't done as part of the room service. The hotel's location is not impressive, though. The surrounding area is a bit rough and doesn't have many dining options nearby.
