November 2024

2 adults Stayed here for just 3 nights Nov 11th 2024 Clean comfortable room with a view of the acropolis from the sunny but traffic noisy balcony. Complimentary bottle of water & red wine. Small amount of Tea & Coffee making stuff with tiny cups. Coffee machine & kettle & fridge. But what a strange bathroom, toilet is in the shower, so if you use the shower, which is lovely with loads of massage jets, the floor is soaking all day or night when you need to use the toilet you need footwear on or your feet are wet! There is another shower over the bath, but who wants to use that when there is a fancy one to use 🤔 That is the only thing wrong with this room & it's a BIG thing wrong🙄 Staff are wonderful, really helpful & speak great English🙂 Breakfast, buffet style, included in our booking is ok, not great, usual stuff, not very hot though fried eggs swimming in oil. No fresh made options. No bar as such, we came here to meet up with friends all staying here but no where really to go just for a drink & chat. Roof top restaurant food is great, but not comfortable for just & drink & relax. Nolicoli the waiter/bar man is very enthusiastic about his job, but also a little annoying. The hotel is within walking distance of the main town & if you get the hop on hop off bus, getting tickets from hotel reception saves 5€ per person & they will give you great directions & recommend places. You have to visit FAIRYTALE if you want dessert it's crazy in there & menu is amazing 10 min walk. Also Gelato de Nona is the best smooth silky & delicious gelato I've ever eaten 👌 8 min walk away. Would we stay here again & recommend this hotel, if we ever came to Athens, yes we probably would 🙂 as we have no experience of other hotels in the area. It's only that shower that was a nuisance.

Lovely hotel, comfortable room with great bathroom, shower and toiletries and we even had a view of the acropolis from our window. I chose this hotel for its rooftop restaurant with a great view of the acropolis, which was stunning. However the surrounding streets are pretty shabby with rough uneven roads and pavements, loads of graffiti and looks decayed although we did feel safe. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the beautiful acropolis area which is full of winding streets and charm, with cozy bars and a funky vibe, but this can feel too much, if like me, you need an afternoon siesta after the mornings walking! But the breakfast was great and the staff brilliant and went all out to make the best of our stay.

Only the surroundings, the area close to acropolis is much nicer

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while . The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel provides nice touches when you arrive , a drink on arrival and a bottle of wine , water and local sesame bar in the room. The room itself was brilliant , get a room with a view of the Parthenon and Acropolis it’s just perfect. The room is clean and smells lovely. The area is within a quick walk of the metro with easy access to the airport and port and a little walk takes you to lots of the lovely sights Athens offers. Breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly .The hotel restaurant and bar on the 6th floor is amazing , again the view is to die for. The food was varied and tasty and staff really professional and kind. It’s a great hotel. Totally recommend.

Loved it all

The staff was very friendly and helpful - most of the time. The location is good - mostly. The hotel itself and its facilities are sufficient. The breakfast was surprisingly good - except for the coffee.

There was no hot water for a shower all of the time. In the morning, for example, there was no hot water at all. The staff promised to check the issue and to return to us, but they didn't. While the location of the hotel is OK, the immediate surrounding is ugly and dirty. Fortunately, you don't have to walk a lot to get to nicer places. The public areas of the hotel, like the lounge, are somewhat useless by design.

The room was amazing with a lovely view of the Parthenon. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were exceptional. Room was very spacious, with both a very comforting warm shower and bath for anyone who prefers. Very clean, with extras such as a coffee machine, bath robes, slippers, safe, TWO balconies, a sofa and a desk. Restaurant upstairs is a particular highlight. It has a view of the whole of Athens, absolutely beautiful at night, with a great selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. Location is good, it's a 15 min walk to the nearest metro station, similarly short walk to the Parthenon and nearby attractions. Staff always willing to help with advice on seeing the city, with travel tips and recommendations.

The Hotel staff was courteous and welcomed us with a drink. Our Junior suite was overlooking the Parthenon, which was amazing. The Room service was amazing - very quick and polite. The food is of good value and is good in proportion as well. The menu is limited, though. We are vegetarians - that further chopped our options. Not entirely sure why, but every time the room was made up, they never replaced the cups and glasses in the room. We had to request from the reception. They were prompt, but not sure why it wasn't done as part of the room service. The hotel's location is not impressive, though. The surrounding area is a bit rough and doesn't have many dining options nearby.

This hotel truly made me feel like a princess. The staff were excellent—genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to help with anything I needed. They checked in on me regularly to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The room was perfectly clean and welcoming. Complimentary water and wine were a lovely touch.

Solo travelers might want to consider the neighborhood carefully, especially for walking around at night. With that in mind, if you're okay with the location, it's a fantastic place to stay. While Athens city center has many great spots, some surrounding streets felt unsafe, especially in the evening. There are many homeless people in the area, and some parts can be quite dirty.

Perfect location!!! Hotel was lovely with a fabulous breakfast! The roof top restaurant/ bar was beautiful with an amazing acropolis view ! Staff were super friendly and helpful . The bathroom was a weird setup though with the toilet inside the shower enclosure. The floor got soaked so had to mop up the water with a towel . Not ideal . There was a shower in the bath but it was positioned not at the head of the bath with the water spraying into bath but in the middle of the bath facing out so the water went over the bath onto the floor . Had to try and position it awkwardly so the water stayed in the bath. While again this wasn’t ideal over all I would recommend this hotel all day long

The bathroom set up wasn’t ideal but we made it work

Incredible experience overall. The staff we amazing and helpful and provided such a welcoming experience. The location was perfect and central. The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to leave!

One thing we didn't like was the shower/toilet combination. It made using the washroom after or in the night difficult as everything was wet. The other thing was the construction, which started around 8am and went till sometimes 10pm. Luckily for us it didn't bother us too much as our sleep times corresponded but we did have a few moments of frustration

The staff at the front desk were excellent and arranged tours and transport. The breakfast staff were equally splendid. Housekeeping did a wonderful job and our stay was memorable. We will miss all.

Our first room faced easter'ly with a wonderful view of the Acropolis but lots of traffic noise and even in winter the room temp was so warm due to the unshuttered glass window/door to the patio that we were given a fan to moderate the heat. Later we relocated to a different room without the view but quiet and cool.
