Excellent central location, I was able to work my normal work schedule and log off and enjoy Athens as was close to all my favourite restaurants and bars. The hotel has an excellent rooftop bar with view of the Parthenon and Acropolis. Good food menu.

Despite marking my room with the electronic do not disturb sign the cleaners ignored this and entered my room on multiple occasions, either when I was asleep in the room or whether I was working. This was rather off putting and unprofessional. However I will say that they were good at cleaning.

Everything was great!! Very polite and helpful stuff. 👍 Excellent location. Excellent quality of coffee. Amazing roof garden with beautiful views of the Acropolis with wonderful food and late night bar. Nice cafeteria. Excellent breakfast with great variety of food. Very professional room service.

The location is amazing, right in middle of town. The room had a view over the Pantheon, absolutely spectacular. Breakfast w decent choice of foods.

The breakfast restaurant staff is extremely unwelcoming. Beside one waitress, all look annoyed all the time, even when greeted with a warm Kalimera and a smile. They keep the restaurant clean and tidy but should be also pleasant and welcoming. Same experience we had at the rooftop bar. We went up twice but no one attended us nor inviting so we just left and went to bars outside of the hotel. Last is around their website: you get emails to book pick ups from and to airport but the website does not work so we needed to write email and call.

We enjoyed our stay at Athens Cypria Hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We loved the rooftop bar with its amazing view of the Acropolis lit up at night. The hotel was close to many attractions, and we were able to walk to shopping and sightseeing tours. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. Our favorite part of our stay was Adreas, the bell man. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the hotel. He was happy to answer our questions throughout our stay. We had lovely conversations about life in Greece, and we knew if we needed anything, Adreas would be available to help. We felt like we made a friend.

There was construction going on in the building right next to the room we stayed in. One night, probably due to extreme heat, there was considerable noise as they worked to avoid some of the daytime heat.

Stayed 2 nights at Cypria Hotel, because of the location right in the centre of Ermou street which is the main shopping district in Athens Close to all restaurants, Monastiraki, Plaka and Syntagma square. The Hotel has been renovated since we were here 18 years ago 😳 fir the better entrance and reception is so much bigger now and nicer Room was nice and big, with nice big bathroom The breakfast is one of the best we had while staying in Greece it had everything from eggs and bacon, Greek pastries fruits yogurt coffee machine and you can even make your own Greek coffee. The Porter Andrea was a very helpful staff member at the hotel and we also had a nice conversation with Stamatina in the coffee shop was very nice and helpful. Loved our stay and will return again 😍

Some construction noise from building next to our room early morning but because we were staying 2 nights I didn’t bother complaining

Excellent location close to Syntagma Square and transport. Staff were great and went out of their way to be accommodating. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of super-fresh buffet items. Parthenon view room was worth the extra cost. Got some great shots at different time of the day. I did not get to use the rooftop lounge bar due to the cold weather during my stay.

I requested a double bed but got two undersize singles pushed together. I did not have restful nights as it felt like being in a (small) single bed. The airconditioning was unresponsive to any attempt to adjust the temperature.

The Location is outstanding. close to everything. A 1-minute walk to Syntagma Square and a 3-minute walk in any direction will get you to an area full of restaurants and cafes. A 5-minute walk to Little Cook which is a very nice and unique cafe. A 20-minute walk to the Acropolis and the National History Museum. The room was always clean and tidy, enough for a couple size-wise. Good tasty breakfast.

The mattresses were very hard for our taste, but the staff was kind enough to supply soft and nice mattress tops right away. which made it feel like the mattress we have back home.

Breakfast was nice and solid, in some days it was a bit better than the others (freshly baked I guess). Staff were very nice and welcoming at both the reception (Nikos) as well as the entire dining room staff.

Room was not very clean, shower had some areas that should be cleaned more thoroughly. Mini balcony door didn't shut down well enough to block noises from the street level, and in the heart of Athens it is needed. Bed and pillows were meh

Athens Cypria Hotel was in a perfect location to all the iconic historical sites by walking. Very clean hotel, nice size room for 3 people. Beds were very good, supportive and firm; comfortable to sleep on. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Loved the rooftop and view of the Parthenon and Acropolis hill. Stairs and elevator available. Nice front lobby with chairs and tables to sit at. Breakfast was very good with great options. Was beyond my expectations for a 3-star hotel!

Wished there were more places to place my suitcases on in the rooms.

The hotel is in an amazing location you literally step out the door and you are on the main pedestrianised street where all the shops and restaurants are. The rooms are modern clean light and spacious and the bathrooms well appointed. Having a balcony overlooking the Acropolis…even though there is a few buildings obstructing a little of the view was definitely worth the extra money, so nice to sit and have a wine and look out over the Acropolis in the evening. Loved the rooftop bar and all the staff were very friendly and informative.

The rooms are a little on the small side but that is standard all across Europe the elevators are very small only really hold 2 to 3 people but as it’s a boutique hotel it also is quite the norm for Europe.
