I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and clearly focused on making guests feel welcome—they even allowed me to drop off my belongings before check-in, which was very helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely view. The location is another highlight—very central and convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I really appreciated the thoughtful, client-oriented service.

One small improvement would be to add handles or hooks for hanging clothes, as there weren’t many options for that in the room.

The check in desk given me early checknin at 11am and given me a room at the top most floor with view of the city. The view of the city from the balcony facing the water fountain was fantastic especially later in the night where you will see the water spouted to its highest height glitters with the lights from the buildings surrounded it. The room is spacious & bed is comfortable. The classic room style for short stay is worth the value when the location is just good to get whatever food or drinks and shopping and only 2 metro stops to Syntagma Square to get tge Airport Express

The small bathroom has no shower curtain & water flows into the bedroom. Balcony has no table or chairs

I simply don't understand all the bad reviews for Claridge! In my opinion it's definitely one of the best budget hotels you will find in Athens. Clean, good comfort and excellent staff at the reception desk. Extra plus for Alex:-). He's a role model for helpful service minded people in the business. I certainly will come back to this place.

24 hours reception, central location, only steps from the subway, big supermarket next door. Rooms cleaned daily and sheets changed which was unnecessary. Efficient and friendly check-in. Comfortable room with AC, fridge, strong hot shower, etc. Overall great value!

It's an older building, so go with it, and enjoy the central location instead..

Fantastic view from the 7th floor balcony that overlooked the beautiful Omonia Square fountain.

The area was not the cleanest -which wasn't a surprise as I was only looking at the location and the amazingly good deal I had for a few nights only.

It’s an Hemingway-esque hotel, very good location 2 min walk from metro. 7th floor with big balcony overlooking a grand square. Very friendly manager who brought me a kettle upon request

The accommodation absolutely matches the price. I don't understand why some people are complaining here when they’re not even willing to pay for something more expensive.

Location is super top In omonia square with metro station in front and on left side of a big supermarket and nice Restaurant Staff is top epseciallybthenman working in the afternoon

Claridge Hotel located in the heart of Athens - capital of Greece- is a very convenient place to stay combining near transportation of all kind (METRO, TRAINS, BUSES, TAXI) with comfort rooms in low hotel rates. Shops, restaurants and archaeological places are in a close distance as well.

New furnitures and bathrooms would upgrade the hotel meaning the room prices would be launched in different, more expensive levels. Becoming a luxurious hotel would be very difficult for a low budget tourists to enjoy some days in the centre of Athens, Greece.
