I liked the location very much. It was exactly what I was looking for. Fun enough when I came out or in people on the street excused themselves as if they were in front of the door of my own house. Enjoyed this!!! I stayed in room 3, during the day it was really quiet in the room, however at night I could hear music till about 1:00 AM. It did not bother me, but one should know about it. The view from the Acropolis is amazing and the kitchen facilities really handy. If you are looking for experiencing how Athens wakes up and how Athens goes to sleep this is the place.

It was in a very convenient location, bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was great ( very important to me), great water pressure and hot. Had a kitchenette upstairs but didn’t use it, we had a small fridge, nice view from roof terrace.

I gave this a 9 instead of 10 because the closet bar was way too high. We couldn’t reach the hangers to hang our clothes. I’m very surprised this hasn’t been rectified. The place is on a busy pedestrian street where the “flea market” is. But the vendors close and the night is very quiet.

Perfectly located walking distance from majors sites, with a magnificent view on the Parthenon from the terrace. Rooms are pretty small, and not convenient for disabled people - there is a staircase from the main door that leads to all the rooms and facilities -. Shower water is warm and with high pressure, bed is medium comfort, enough for visitors, and A/C works fine - heat mode for our January’s stay -. The street is very busy on daytime, the building is located in a narrow flee market street, but all shops are closed at night, we had no noise at all at night. We haven’t used the shared kitchen, and it was, just like room and bathroom, perfectly clean. Joanna answered very fast to any question, and because the room was available early, she allowed us an early check-in which was very convenient. We didn’t think to book the breakfast before, thus was unavailable, but there is plenty (really plenty) of bars, restaurants and coffees minutes around. Thank you very much to Joanna for the visible efforts she is doing to run that place efficiently !

The location is very convenient - very close to subway, historical center, markets, restaurants, even the Parthenon is an easy and nice walk (from either direction).

The only thing I didn't like about it was that it's directly above the flea market street so it was easy to experience the occasional noisy thug in the middle of the night. Also, google maps kept pointing us at an opposite building so finding the entrance took a second attempt.

Really nice place with an open terrace on the top of the house, accessible from the kithcen/eating/lounge area. Easy to make your own breakfast, and nice to have acces to the fridge and coffe/tee facilities all day long. Nice and clean room with a small refrigerator. Very easy to reach from Metrostation, - only a couple of hundred meters away. Situated right in the middle of everything you may want to do and see i Athen, and sorrounded by lots of shops/caffes/bars. It can be a little noisy, - but I think that is a part of the charme...

Might be a little too noisy for some late in the evening...

The location is unbeatable—right in Monastiraki, just beneath the Acropolis. Our room had direct access to a terrace with a stunning view of the Parthenon, which made the experience even more special. It’s within walking distance to all the main attractions, and the Monastiraki Metro Station is just 100 meters away, making it super convenient. The breakfast was good, with each room having its own space in the shared fridge. The room was spotless, with comfortable beds, and communication with the host, Joanna, was excellent. She was polite, always available, and made sure everything went smoothly.

One word - PERFECT! This was one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in (and we travel a lot)! Location is simply superb - right in the centre of Monastiraki, next to Ancient Agora and basically under the Acropolis (the view from the terrace is amazing!), almost everything is max 20 min away on foot, for everything else there is a metro literally around the corner. Rooms are cozy and have all the necessary appliances (like seen on the photos). And the owners are just the nicest! Would highly recommend it!

Large, clean room; comfortable bed; large, clean bathroom; fabulous view of the acropolis from the rooftop patio where you eat breakfast. There is no reception, but staff provide a code to use to unlock the door. Breakfast is simple do it yourself… Each room is provided eggs to boil yourself, cheese, bread, and yogurt. The location is on a pedestrian street, which is very busy during the day, but it’s generally quiet at night. On one night, I heard no noise whatsoever. On the other night, there were some loud voices from the street a couple times late in the evening.

The showerhead would not stay pointed in the proper direction, so I had to use it as a handheld shower.

The view was amazing. The full Acropolis could be seen off the balcony. There were tables and chairs to accommodate viewing. The facility provided a communal refrigerator with a shelf for each apartment. They had eggs, cheese, yogurt, and bread for each. The chilled water bottles and juice was greatly appreciated upon arrival. The eggs could only be cooked in an egg appliance for hard boiled eggs. One of our yogurts was spoiled.

The plus side of PLAKA is the location, the downside is no nearby legal parking nearby. We had to walk a long distance with our luggage and then walk up several flights of narrow stairs. It was worth it for the view and the place is clean and comfortable but I would not do it again.

Great location to explore Athens in the centre of the flea market area next to Metro station Monastiraki. Easy reachable with metro from the airport (45min) and to Piraeus (30min). 5min to Plaka and hundreds of restaurants nearby. Next to Agora, easy walking distance to Ariopag (15min). 25-30min to Akropolis main entrance (book tickets in advance!) Nice terrace with view of the acropolis for all 4 rooms. Room No. 4 is on 2nd floor with direct access to the terrace. Easy communication and self check-in with Pin.

A bit noisy and busy in the evening, but o.k.. Can't open windows in the night, but there is A/C. Not enough shade on the terrace. Parasols would be helpful. Breakfast is simple and do it yourself. Every room has a shelf in the fridge. Coffee machine could be higher quality.
