What a beautiful place ,we were lucky to stay for 8 nights in this wonderful place. Margarita ,Christos and all the staff are brilliant and so helpful and pleasant ,the place is spotless and the staff really work so hard .We had a wonderful time there we loved the executive suite and of course our own private hot tub ,the room was so spacious for the 3 of us.The pool area is fabulous and so relaxing .The location was great not too far of a walk to the centre of Fira although uphill 😅but i got used to it .Thank you to all the staff at Callia Retreat ,especially Margarita who upgraded us to the bigger executive suite and the young lady who cleaned our room everyday ,and Ella the young lady who looked after us at breakfast every morning , you do actually leave feeling like family .Thank you all .xx

A luxurious, bespoke and intimate hotel located a 10 minute walk from centre of Fira. We had a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the pool. Clean and modern in the traditional Greek style. Beautiful pool area with comfortable sun loungers. Breakfast delicious. Food and drinks available all day. The staff are very welcoming and Christos makes a point of chatting to each guest and ensuring everyone is happy with everything. Excellent communication beforehand and taxi arranged for collection at the port 35€

Nothing not to like about this beautiful hotel.

On arrival, Christos was very helpful and gave us lots of tip and ideas about Santorini. Gave us map and how to navigate the island which found it very useful. The breakfast was beautiful, lots of selection and variety of foods, and Margarita was very helpful too. The ambience where we had our breakfast was amazing and the view was stunning. Class A service for what it’s worth. The room was spacious, the balcony had an amazing view. The room was cleaned everyday despite of our short stay. The pool was just perfect size not too big not too small for our group. Because it was an adult only, it was quite, peaceful and restful especially in he swimming pool. I would come back 100% in Callia retreat suite as the location is perfect.

We had power cut during our stay but that’s wasn’t Callia’s fault it was just unfortunate events.

I can't write a review for the Callia Retreat Suites without mentioning the staff - they are some of the nicest people I have encountered. So friendly, welcoming and always happy to see you. The hotel itself is lovely with wonderful rooms and a great pool area for relaxing. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Fira which is perfect. I could not recommend this place highly enough! Thank you Callia and Callia Team!

Before we even arrived, the staff were responsive and helpful via messenger. From the moment we got there, we were warmly welcomed by the team. Although this might sound off-putting at first, I want to highlight how well the staff handled a situation: our first room had a sewage smell. As soon as we reported it, we were immediately moved to a larger, clean room with no issues, and were later offered a complimentary late check-out as an apology. On arrival, we were also greeted with a complimentary bottle of bubbly, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was clean, spacious enough for three people, and included a private hot tub that was cleaned daily. The location was excellent - just a short walk to Thira’s main square. Margarita was especially helpful with local recommendations and travel tips. Breakfast was buffet-style and changed daily, which made it fun to try something new each morning. The main pool area was beautiful, peaceful and never too crowded. Thank you Margarita, Christos, and the entire Callia Retreat Suites team for such a great stay!

Other than the initial smell in the first room (which was quickly resolved), there was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations and queries. The room is lovely, we had the premium suite and the outdoor area was beautiful. Great to have netflix on the TV. Well located less then a 10minute walk to Fira square. Pool area is lovely with options of sun loungers and beds. As the accommodation is small there is plenty for everyone. We were given beach towels on our last day to bring away with us for the day as we had a late flight and had the option to use the communal shower on our return which was really helpful.

Pool is not heated and the hot tub could have been slightly warmer. Breakfast options could be fresher.

Our stay at this hotel in Santorini was truly unforgettable, thanks to the incredible staff members Margarita and Christos. Their personalized recommendations for excursions and the joyful conversations we shared forged bonds that transformed our vacation into something special. Every morning, they remembered our preferences and greeted us with friendly smiles, creating a warm atmosphere that felt like home. As we left, the heartfelt farewells and promises to stay in touch left us with cherished memories and connections we hope to maintain.

We honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this beautiful place, it really is remarkable.

Fab location, most hotels in Fira you don't seem to get much peace and quiet if you are on the caldera so this was the perfect place to stay. It was a 10 minute walk to main square/bus station. The breakfast's were great and the staff member who made the cocktails was excellent! All staff were super friendly and I would definitely book here again should I come back to Santorini.

The walls were quite thin so didn't have a great sleep our first night due to the next door room chatting until about 3:00/4:00am which isn't ideal after a long flight, however this wasn't the hotels fault that other people were noisy!

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Pool was only a few steps away from our room.Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a clean room and towels everyday which was amazing. Bucket changed daily which is a must in Greece. Not far to walk from restaurants and shops but far enough away to be quiet. Bed very comfortable and a choice of 2 pillows - soft and a bit firmer.

Some bits in the room were unfinished. There was no shower curtain, which meant the bathroom was very slippy after a shower despite having a towel down. There was a drain to drain away excess water but nothing to push the water away with. No door on bathroom cupboard to hide away pipes. Rust on bathroom mirror. Blind by the door was a grubby.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay and can honestly say it was amazing! From the moment we arrived Christos made us feel extremely welcome, greeting us with a big friendly smile and providing us with lots of useful information. We were very kindly upgraded to an executive suite (something we’ve never experienced before). The room was brilliant, incredibly spacious and beautifully clean with a superb hot tub with sea view, which we made the most of every evening with a glass of bubbles! The main pool area was fantastic, great views and a lovey chilled out vibe, with plenty of sun beds to go around. The bar area served some great food and even better cocktails, all of which were reasonably priced, of high quality and served with a smile by the very nice Lizzie! The location is great, a short 10 minute walk through the cobbled back streets into the heart of Thira and the hustle and bustle of restaurants etc with breathtaking views. When we went to check out, the staff were so very kind and thoughtful, looking after our bags and allowing us use of the facilities until our pick up. They genuinely couldn’t have been any nicer, which goes a long way!! All in all, a brilliant hotel, which we would highly recommend!!! Thanks very much for making our stay so special.
