We only wanted a nice clean room to stay for one night in transit and Galatia Villas more than met our expectations. The communication was smooth and the arrangement for our late check-in (at almost midnight) was efficient and cute! There was a clear instruction and welcoming message for us to easily find our room. Our room was clean and cosy on first floor with lovely sea view. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town but only a short stroll to the town centre and all attractions.

The only downside of this hotel is the stairs down from street level to reception and up to guest rooms, which should not be any problems for most guests. For this particular visit, I had a small accident before coming to Santorini and found it a bit of a challenge to carry my luggage up and down. Luckily, the gentleman at the reception helped me with the luggage when we left - thank you!

Great value for Money. The staff was very friendly and attended to our needs. The room was super clean and spacious. Recommended!!

Parking is a bit further (~100m) from the property.

We had a lovely stay at Galatia Villas! The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a nice jacuzzi, perfect for a group of four. It came with a microwave and a small fridge, which was super convenient for snacks and light meals. The location was about a 10 minute walk from the city center, and yes, it’s a bit of a hill, but that’s just part of the Fira experience. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and practical place to stay while still being close to everything. The receptionist was very friendly and organised us a one day tour around the island.

I really liked the staff they were all so helpful and had lots of recommendations of things to do around the island. The room was very well kept and clean and they always had it very nice for us every day while we were off adventuring. We had a jacuzzi outside our room and it was perfect in the evening to cool off from the hot summers day. The main pool itself is perfect for maybe couples, but I don't think for kids as its quite small and there isn't many tanning beds so it can be hard to get one at certain times so having the jacuzzi outside our room was very handy.

Good location, 10 minute walk from the centre, although you have to walk up quite a steep hill. But that also means it's nice and calm. Friendly staff that helped us book a taxi.

Swimming pool is extremely small, a lot smaller than on photos. Room and bathroom was quite old. Didn't have any hobs in the studio.

Location is very good, 12 minutes from the bus station and about max. 10 minutes from the main square in Fira. Staff was very kind. Breakfast also was very delicious, I recommend to have breakfast in the hotel.

Our room for two was a bit smaller, especially bathroom. But that wasn't a big problem for our 2 days stay.

Stayed four nights in Santorini at this accomodation with a friend and we both enjoyed it very much. The accomodation is well maintained and very clean. Beds were very comfortable, and the pool area is quaint and pleasant. It is only an approx 15 minute walk to centre of Fira which is fantastic. The bus stops located near the hotel are easily accessible to take you anywhere on the island. The staff were absolutely lovely and happy to assist with directions as well as give recommendations for places to visit/shops/restaurants. Special shout out to Eliana (apologies if that is misspelt), who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Would absolutely stay again.

Bedroom space was a bit smaller than advertised/expected

It was a 10-15 min walk into the centre of Fira, you could either go the main road route or the backstreets which was simple enough to follow. Room was cleaned everyday and replenished, there was lots of space and balcony which was nice! Bed was fairly comfortable, cellings were low upstairs.

The WiFi connection wasn’t great and at times didn't connect well. You could slightly hear the people next door or around the room. We did have a few power cuts over our 3 night stay, but it affected the whole island so there wasn’t much the accommodation could do.

The room was spotless and had all the basic amenities needed, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a short walk from the center of Thira where all the shops, restaurants and bars are, and not located in the hustle and bustle which we much preferred. The staff are happy to help with anything from transfers, recommendations, day trips and rentals. They allowed us to keep our bags there for the day after we checked out as we were flying home that day later in the evening.

For us everything we needed was provided. If you are looking to relax by a pool, this isn't necessarily the place to book, its shaded most the day and small, but still lovely - some rooms also have their own jacuzzis!

Exactly like in the pictures. Dated and very clean. There were horrible noises from patrons directly above me making me scared but at my request, my room was changed instantaneously. Thanks to the housemaids and the Manager.

Dont really like the steep slope leading to the hotel due to my bad knees.
