Loved this place. Fantastic location just slightly down the road & a few steps into Fira Centre. Location is really practical. Because it’s near the road you don’t have the drag suitcases up & down steps. Mini market a few meters away which is super handy. Immediately in the action but really peaceful in the hotel. Lovely restaurant nearby for breakfast. Staff were really, really lovely. They cleaned thoroughly & gave fresh towels everyday. Pool is a suntrap & really relaxing. Gorgeous view from the balcony & bathroom window. Very cool interior. We really loved it. And the shared room was actually big enough for 5 girls sharing. Good aircon too. The girl on reception is really really lovely & sweet

Beautiful, comfortable studio with kitchenette in a great location (close to city center, shops, bus stop, restaurants). The personnel was lovely and gave us many good tips on where to eat, what to see. They really made us feel welcome. The kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed (minus staples like salt, sugar), including dishes, cutlery, water cooker, sandwich maker, dish detergent. Next time we come to Santorini we will stay here as well, for us it was very close to perfection.

If the hosts heat that lovely pool we will make a yearly subscription to come stay here. :-) It would be nice to have salt in the kitchenette.

The rooms are great and extremely value for money. However, the reason I am writing is the amazing staff. There was a small accident with their pool and some of my things got wet. They were incredibly helpful, they offered to dry all my things and to replace the ones that got destroyed, they offered me a ride to the port and in general they did more than they could to assist me. They were truly very kind and helpful, and I left feeling grateful for coming across them. Truly amazing hospitality.

Everything about the property was amazing. The room was very spacious, clean and modern and the pool, grounds and outdoor area perfect. Staff at reception were wonderful, welcoming, kind and very helpful. The location was perfect with only meters away to the main streets, restaurants and bus station. And no stairs to get to the property which is a bonus if you have luggage. We even got spectacular sunrise views from our balcony.

We love the location. A few minutes away from bus station and the center of Fira. The room is very spacious and clean. Fresh towels were provided daily. And if you prefer to prepare meals, there are some essentials kitchenware. The location is safe and quite in the evening away from the busy night in Fira center.The swimming pool is a plus to enjoy . Paola the receptionist was very nice and informative. We arrived early, and we asked if early check in is possible and they have gladly accommodated our request.

There was an off smell in the bathroom that doesn’t go away. Like a sewage smell. I don’t know if the tap water in Santorini is really like that, but we noticed that it is a bit salty. We suggest some bathroom glasses . We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. And just a few more essentials in the kitchen for guest who self cater.

This place is exactly where you want your accommodation to be. Just a little bit out of the main street so you dont hear the hustle and bustle. But close enough that after a 5 min walk, you hit the main street. Bus station also around the corner. We had an open room, and were fortunate enough to have a ground floor room so minimal steps. Only thing to keep in mind is that there is a slight incline down to the property, but only 20 or so meters. If you can navigate that, this is the place for you!

Staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The location is very good, it’s an easy walk to the town however far enough to provide some privacy and quietness when needed. Staff were very helpful providing suggestions of thing to do and actually made a tour booking for me once I made a decision what to do. I enjoyed my stay.

I loved my stay here! The room and entire property is upgraded and well-maintained. At the desk, Anna and Paula, were very kind , helpful and informative. The windows and doors are insulated and I found the room very quiet – even though I was opposite the office desk and outside was the swimming pool. I loved having a swimming pool just outside my door, it made for a lovely view and an easy swim. The property is just beautiful. I highly recommend this property, and I will be returning as well. Thank you making my visit to Santorini so special and comfortable.

Markakis Studios was the perfect place for our stay in Santorini. The girls working at reception were so helpful and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations for daily activities and places to eat. The rooms were so comfortable and clean, the pool was perfect, and despite being so central it was very quiet and peaceful.

Staff were absolutely amazing and always greeted with a smile. Paula gave great advice with helpful tips on restaurants and places to explore. The studios are clean and spacious with the perfect little pool area to relax after a day of exploring. Perfectly located to walk into the restaurants and to the caldera for views without being too in the thick of it that it felt hectic.

Nothing really negative to note! My only constructive feedback would be to get an ironing board for guests, but this wasn’t really an issue as we could iron on the beds.
