The staff was super friendly and professional. The food has a large variety to choose with different options everyday in main restaurant. Every single dish was super fresh and well prepared. The night life also varies from traditional greek dance to a group dance, from a small concert to a mini disco. The seating area around the stage was always full every night before the show starts at 9pm. You will never get bored through a full week of stay. I was invited to a group dance one night and that was the highlight of my stay. The great experience not only came from the fabulous food, fantastic view, extreme comfort, but also from the lively culture and the lovely people.

The main building was great, new and clean, modern. We had booked 4 rooms, inclusive one in the annex building which we thought would be in the next building but it was isolated and across the street, so not that great given you had to walk up and down for changing cloths under the sun. It was a main road as well that one had to cross so not great as many cars drive by day time. We asked the hotel if you could change the room and stay with the rest of the family but we’re told the hotel was fully booked. So apart from this everything else was great, very nice food, very clean facilities, modern and impressive design, felt very safe even walking at night around the hotel complex. The entertainment was good, too. There were nice coffee and bar areas near the beach which we found later during our stay and the coffee was much better than in the main restaurant. Asian restaurant was great, we tried twice and were pleased.

There should be more information on the building marked as annex so that guests have appropriate expectations. The beach was not that impressive. The hotel could improve the beach area by investing some money and cleaning the bottom of the sea near the beach, it was very dirty and unpleasant to go in. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool outside. The sea most of the time was choppy making it hard to swim. Next to the hotel there was a better beach, not belonging to the hotel but we spent some time in there.

Great for kids but its constant kid shows at the main pool and then the adult pool was very quiet, could've used some more music and atmosphere at the adult pool for those without kids.

The hotel is everything it says it is. We were spending time with our kid and every day or our stay was as good as it possibly could be. The food was delicious and though most of the dishes were repeating from day to day, there were plenty of different ones everyday. We were not expecting it, but there was a lot of seafood. The weather was pretty chilly during our stay, but during these days we were allowed to swim in the closed pool with our kid (which is normally forbidden). We had very little troubles but every time one occurred it was addressed quickly and neatly by the staff. Also, nearly anyone from the hotel's staff spoke good English, so expect no troubles in communication.

Easy to get to Heraklion downtown (bus stop in front of the hotel), very good spa and gym, cleanness in the whole hotel, good variety of food, variety of tours and daily trips, good entertainment options at night. We felt very comfortable at Arina Beach Resort.

At the end of our stay, after a windy day, the beach had lots of seaweeds at the shore making it impossible to enter the water. There was a mistake in our booking and we had to change rooms on our second day. However, the team made the best it could to compensate the need to change rooms after our first night. Thank you!

We had a beautiful spacious room. Newly renovated. The rooms were made up every day. We had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was exceptional. From the moment we checked in, everyone cared for us, from the bar staff, to management assuring they greet every resort guest everyday, to the spa staff and an extraordinary animation team. The animation team kept guests entertained with a multitude of activities and sports organized every day, the kids club with different themes and would participate in the evening shows. The food was delicious and offered a lot of variety. Very fresh ingredients and something for everyone to like. We will definitely be coming back and recommend this resort to couples, families and friends.

Two storey Family room with two bathrooms 3 single beds upstairs two bathrooms 1 very large bed downstairs . Walked straight out to a private pool with seating for 5 . Grassed area between pool and sea with sun loungers . Very clean hotel looked new . Staff friendly. Pool bars serving drinks and snacks. Buffet service in restaurant with amazing choice of fresh food also chefs cooking for you. Fantastic view of sea from hotel . Hotel spread out over a big area with lots of nice seating . Evening entrainment but not to load or over the top still quite areas of hotel . A few games to play chess etc in bar area . A 20 minute drive from airport and large town . We could not really fault this hotel in anyway. We are regular travellers and stayed all over the world this hotel is definitely in my top 5 .

We stayed one night at this hotel/resort as it is close to Heraklion airport. We were upgraded to a penthouse that overlooked the pools and sea. All the food and drinks were included in the price of the hotel. The staff was all incredibly friendly and so kind. It was a wonderful way to end my time in Crete.

The only reason I would not give this hotel a 10 is it is a place to go on vacation where one will likely not be encountering any Greeks except those in service. The resort itself is lovely but if you stay exclusively there you miss out on experiencing the Greek culture and Heraklion, to me, is not really indicative of what the rest of Crete looks like.
