Great location, amazing apartment, the view from the terrace is worth alone the price! Recommended

Food selection could be better, but quality is good

Everything was fine in this hotel. Close to the beach, nice breakfast, friendly staff. We just stayed one night as a stopover.

Very convenient location for travellers without a car - a bus stop is very close to the hotel. The bus is a coach style and very cheap. It was very easy to get to Heraklion, Malia, Heronissos and Agios Nicholas. The weather was not good and we were happy that we could explore towns without renting a car. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and kind. The beds were comfortable and we did not have any complaints about the food.

Not much to do in the evening if you don’t have a car.

1. Great location - Hotel is located just next to the sea. You need to walk out of the gate and you are almost at the beach 2. Very clean - cleaning service was very good. 3. Almare Beach Hotel is part of Sunset Beach Hotel. They are almost next to each other separated by Tavern. Thanks to that you are allowed to use Sunset's pool and sunbeds. 4. Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely would recommend and definitely we will come back when visiting Crete again :)

Huge room with comfortable beds and wondeeful design (wall pictures especially). Strong wifi signal in room.. Private parking. Breakfast was fine, getting stomach full.

Bed corners have sharp wood edges sticking out and I, by accident, hit the leg in the dark. No major trauma but still not the best feeling in the world. Small kids might have more fun with those edges. Had to close and open two doors (one as a entrance to the building and other to the room). Extra uexpected hassle for the price level of this hotel. Door to the room had a huge lower opening, so little sound insolation outside the room. When arrived, the hotel actually had their reception operating from a nearby hotel. Was not provided the info about it nor there was any sign about it, so had to call them and sort it out.

The room was very large with a nice bathroom, mini-fridge, and immediate access to the water/beach within a few steps of the property. Very short drive to the airport and port, which was nice. Staff very welcoming.

Location/area is quite rundown although the hotel building is nice. The pool at this property wasn't actually available, so we had to access amenities at a sister hotel about a 5 minute walk away. No drinks/food allowed at that pool area unless purchased at the bar and the prices were higher than we'd been paying elsewhere in Crete. The wifi was not good.

I asked them NOT to put air freshener or scents! My request was ignored!! First 2 nights were horrible And I broke out in a terrible rash

We liked the big bed and view of the water and Dia Island. Decent breakfast

NO wifi at all, which is real hassle when one is flying overseas the next day. The staff didn't bother returning our message about this. Expect a LOT of noise from landing planes
