We had the best experience as a family the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and respectful. There is security at all times because the owner is there all the time so we felt safe to have valuables there. It is very close to the shops and to nice beaches.very clean serviced daily apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Affordable and good value for money. There is a kitchenette in the bigger apartments. The pictures are accurate and anything needed we asked the owner and he helped us.

There was an aircon but not strong enough There was a tv but not in the main bedroom Breakfast was not included but if we let them know the day before it was easily organised

Giannis is superb in helping and making us feel like home. Location is awesome close to the beach literally less than 3 minutes. The place is so quiet , spotless clean, big beds. I could not ask for anything else. I had a marvellous time I wish I could stay longer, definitely going back to stay for more days.

Comms with owner Yanis before arrival went well. I was met around 9.30pm by his mother, Katarina, who gave me a warm welcome, checked me in and showed me to my room. The room I had booked was supposed to have a balcony but she explained that that room was a suite. My room on the ground floor opened onto a shared terrace which served me almost as well, so I didn't complain. The room was big enough to comfortably accommodate a king-size bed, a good-sized wardrobe and a desk and was clean with good wifi. The bath/shower was somewhat old-fashioned and the curtain clinged to me while showering, but the water was hot and the pressure was good, so it was ok. It was nice to be able to walk straight out onto a large shared terrace with direct access to the street. There was potential with this arrangement for security issues, but I had no problems during my stay. Breakfast was served in the bright, clean, second floor dining room which overlooks the Arina Beach hotel opposite and the sea beyond and consisted of a freshly-prepared plate of feta cheese, tomato, cucumber and olives with a ham and cheese toastie and plain toast with butter, jam and honey, plus a boiled egg, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice (with refills) and tea/coffee. It was generous and appetising. The apartments also have a sun deck out front with sunbeds and chairs, although they sit right next to a noisy, busy road, so it is not the most relaxing place to be. However, this doesn't really matter, as the beach is only 2 minutes' walk away. There is not much in the immediate area, other than a small supermarket, with a selection of restaurants about 10 minutes' walk away, but overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would come here again.

The owner had arranged for a taxi to be waiting for me on arrival, but my name was not among the many displayed by the crowd of waiting drivers, so when I called him he told me to take a taxi from the stand and to expect to pay 22-25 Euros. On reaching the apartments the driver demanded 30 Euros. I disputed the fare but he insisted, so I felt the I had no option but to pay. This left me with a negative impression at the beginning of my stay but for the return I discovered that the local bus departed from right opposite the apartments for Heraklion via the airport. Departures were every 30 minutes and the fare was 1.90 Euros from the machine (paid by card) or 2.50 Euros paid directly to the driver.

We (mom and dad with 2 small kids) enjoyed very much our stay at this place. The highlight of this family-run hotel is its staff - the owner is a very friendly and welcoming person, always in the mood to give advices and help. The girls who serve breakfast and clean are also really nice and obviously hard-working. The room we had was spacious, simply furnished to cover your basic needs. We liked the balcony with basil plants :). The towels and sheets had been changed regularly. Beautiful, kid-friendly, not overly crowded, sandy beaches are just across the road (we really did not expect it to be that good, and at the peak of the season!). The sea can get wavy, but our 4-year old had a lot of fun in there. One of them we visited belongs to nearby bungalows, but outsiders were also welcome (of course, we had some drinks at the beach bar). Overall, we are very satisfied with our visit and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

A supermarket and a pharmacy were not exactly a short walking distance, which was a bit inconvenient for us (people without car). The kitchen was very basic, the stove was a bit old, so we didn't do much more than eggs and a greek coffee in the morning.

Travelled for a wedding and the property was conveniently located across the street from the resort. The room wasn't big but it had all necessities. The property is well maintained and staff was incredible! There was a convenience store nearby so the entire stay was very comfortable.

The Breakfast is good, the location is good also, you have a good beach at 5 minutes walk and many restaurants that start from only a 10 mins walk + there is a big supermarket at 15 minutes walk, pharmacy at 10 minutes walk.

Owners of Hotel Anna are lovely, lovely, lovely people. They couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. They were more than willing to help us with advice and often invited us to let them know if we needed anything. Superb people and superb service.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Close to a few beaches and a supermarket, the owner is very friendly and helpful. They also have beach umbrellas and other things you can borrow.

The living room matress is too soft.
