The hotel has a great location, very close to the airport, but also in a quieter beach area. The pool was superb, but also the beach was very close. We moved around a lot by car, for which the hotel was a perfect start, they provided parking space free of charge, and there were several rental services close by.

The wi-fi was very slow, sometimes my devices could not connect to the network. It wasn't very disturbing tough, as we went for a holiday and not to surf the internet. :)

A great place to relax. Great evening walks. Fresh air and a comfortable bed that gives you a good night's sleep. Friendly staff. Great location of the hotel. Many interesting places for excursions. Aquarium, historical museums and archaeological excavations. Pleasant Greek music at the pool and at sea.

I would give good advice. Be sure to add a menu for people who keep insulin resistance diets. There are a lot of such people now. Add as many chicken dishes as possible, and turkey. We really missed chicken sausages for breakfast, boiled or stewed chicken for dinner, chicken cutlets, chicken chops, chicken steak and so on. And you can reduce the amount of fatty pork dishes. By the way, chicken meat will not make the dish more expensive. Good luck to you.

The location was perfect if you're looking to relax at the beach or pool all day. I booked a seaview room which had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The town is not overcrowded with tourists.

The food choices could have been better. Getting a sunbed at the pool can be an issue if you go too late, this is mainly due to other guests "reserving" sunbeds by placing their towels on the beds from the morning period even if they aren't at the pool. The hotel has a policy of removing these towels, however, it's not enforced.

From the moment I entered the staff from reception were friendly, smiling and ready to assist you. I got an upgrade to a sea view room which was stunning and you could have a perfect view of the sunset! Spacious room, clean, renovated bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and you could choose from a different kind of food, even french fries🙂. They helped me with the transfer to airport too, they kept my luggage till late and I could use the facilities even tho I did the check out. The hospitality was very good , approachable staff and helpful! Good choice to stay there even if it was only one night! I will return there!

There is nothing which I did not likey

- friendliness of the staff (especially the manager of the restaurant) - close to a really nice sandy beach - close to shops and other restaurants

- extra pay for beach towels - wi-fi was a nightmare (frankly it didn't work at all) - you had to pay for beach sunbeds for the whole day even if you stayed 1-2 hours in the afternoon

I just came back from one of my best holiday ever :) I did't understand why the hotel was under rated, but I had a very good feeling about the place and booked a sea view room. Thank you for the hotel manager, communication was great all the way. The hotel was over my expectation. Great location, very clean hotel by a blue flag beach. Very nice landscape, every day clean rooms, pool area, bar, amazing breakfast. Everyday animation. People can't be bored. Hotel is located in the village center, restaurants, souvenir shops, markets, rent a cars everywhere. It's worth to rent a car and discover the island, is amazing everywhere you go. I wish I could visit here every year!

For me, It dosen't really matter that the bathroom is a bit dated and room door. I understand, because the hotel is full all the time, hard to renovate them. But who cares when everything else is over expectation for me :)

First of all hospitality and professionalism. Food was great, many options and very delicious. Room was very good, fantastic view and very clean. Room service evry day with changing sheets and towels every second day. Local transportation was good,fast and cheap. Close to beautifull beaches and Heraklion.

Room was not sound proof but we weren't bothered. One day was cold outside and I didn't manage to rutn on the heating but it wasn''t necessary, there was a blanket and a quilt for the night and I have to say thah we are very winter threatened.

Very clean, great pool along with a very nice private beach. The view is amazing, the staff are super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway :)

We arrived and received a room with a very poor AC (centralised, barely working), it was impossible falling asleep. The morning afterwards the super nice staff helped us and moved us to a room with a new AC and the rest of the stay was great. I know not all rooms have a new AC and that we had luck.. I think if the Hotel management replaces the ACs in all rooms, this is a 9+ hotel

Clean territory, pleasant water in the pool and a nice sandy beach available. Overall a quiet hotel with friendly staff. The neighborhood is nice, some cafes and shops are nearby. Breakfast was ok, there was something to choose from, but it was the same every day. Location is perfect, only about 15 minutes from the airport.

There is nothing for kids to do there except the pool. There was a small children's playground, but next to the toilets and some building what appeared to be a sewage system building. There was a smell and the ground there was wet and soaked with some kind of sewage liquid, or i dont know what...something black. The child got in while running to the playground, terribly. We didn't go there anymore. We didn't really like the dinner, the food changed a little every day, but we expected something better and often had dinner outside. This is, of course, a matter of taste. It would have been better for us to choose to taste it on the first day and only then take HB or AI, but unfortunately, the staff did not allowed us to cancel.

The facility was great - next to the beach; the pool is also beautiful. Although we did not take advantage of it, meals are available as an option.

Using Apple Map took me to a different location although Google Map was more accurate. The signage for Themis Hotel was also hidden from the main road so took several tries driving before finally get to the correct street. AC did not work as well in our room and when I inquired about it, was told that it was due to being "central" controlled depending on the ambient temperature and that there is no way of adjusting it in the room.
