Lovely old world decor, large room, good quality mattress (soft and your body melts into it) and good quality pillows with a choice of high or low profile (you get 2 pillows each), spacious bathroom with heaps of bench space, shower water pressure worked well, TV and WiFi worked fine. The room was warm during the middle of winter. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Large selection for the buffet breakfast and the food was nice. The location is on the route leading back towards Athens which is where we were heading so perfect for us. Drove into town for a nice meal and took us about 20 mins. We loved the free on site parking.

The only negative thing is that the shower screen didn't extend far enough to prevent the water from getting onto the floor and wetting the bath mat so I'd suggest maybe installing a longer piece of glass? Also perhaps send instructions to guests who inform you they have a car and inform them prior to arrival of the best place to park and enter the premises without stairs.

Great facilities, service and value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - quality of the food and variety. It was served in the Orange Grove restaurant, which is very pleasant, tastefully decorated and opens into the inner courtyard with the pool. The room was spacious, with a nice balcony and a large very comfortable bed. There was a nice welcome kit with water, local wine and nuts. Our dog was welcome. The hotel has the BEST DOG PARK we have seen in the USA and Europe. They grow their own vegetables and fruits on an organic farm. It was easy to find the hotel and get to it from the highway (easy on and off). The pool is lovely.

Everything was great.

The front desk manager went over and above to find us a ground floor room as we were travelling with our dog. They even added a couple of bowls and a blanket for her! The next day he greeted her by her name, which was so lovely. The dog park at the back of the hotel is a brilliant idea. For humans, we had a large room, very comfortable beds, large marble-clad bathroom with a bath and all the amenities one would want, including a coffee maker and good Wifi. Breakfast was lavish. Definitely on our 'must stay here' list when next in Ioannina.

We spent only one night in transit in the hotel and in terms of location, parking facilities and reception it was perfect for what we needed. I also appreciated the surprisingly big bathroom.

This is an old hotel that maybe was wow 20 years ago but really needs renovation. Rooms need refurbishing, the whole building does. Curtains, decorations, armchairs, all need changing. Beds are acceptable. Bathroom needs renovation. This things require money, but there are other changes that I think could be done immediately at lower cost: it is a pity such a nice outdoor pool closes at 7pm in the summer! Also, breakfast is in desperate need of improvement, only one type of omelette and that was poor taste!

The hotel was beautiful and luxurious, with friendly and helpful staff. The service was truly 10/10, they even brought our bags to the room. The room was comfortable, and the hotel offered a wide range of facilities, including a spa and a pool, which was especially nice on hot days. It’s located about 15 minutes outside of Ioannina, so you’ll need to drive to reach the city.

The breakfast had a decent variety, but it felt a bit bland and could be improved.

the breakfest was good, but not a lot a variety and no espresso drinks available. The spa was nice but for the use of the saunas they charged us with 20EUR without a notice in advance which was annoying.

We have stayed here previously & the breakfast is very good, with a large variety of options. The buffet is well laid out & has descriptions of each dish, which are all labelled. The room itself is lovely & the temperature was perfect. At the back of the hotel is the Epirus Palace Farm, well worth a visit. In addition, beside the farm is a ‘Doggy Park’, which is well laid out & our little border terrier thoroughly loved it. A perfect dog friendly hotel.

I have nothing to add. We were extremely happy with the hotel & the staff are very helpful & courteous.

I loved everything about this place. It is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at. Luxury & comfort #1.

Probably the location was my only downside. It’s a bit out of town and nothing of interest around to walk to. My husband and I like to walk to sights and this location was unfortunately not convenient. But nevertheless everything that was great about this place made up for this one negative.

Great hotel. We loved the rooms, the breakfast, the hotel itself with a beautiful view. Our chihuahua was welcome. The hotel has a beautiful dog park - the best we have seen! The staff was very helpful, pleasant and polite. The room and bathroom were clean, roomy and had all we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet - we could not hear any noises - and we were able to relax and get a good night's rest. The breakfast was very nice. The Orange Grove restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and kitchen.

The staff were brilliant, especially when we asked for help with our cats. Our business suite was beautiful and fully equipped with everything one can need for a full luxury experience. The espresso machine was a nice touch, the large bathtub felt great after a long trip in a car. The bed and pillows were dreamy. We ordered room service and were treated to a real gourmet meal. During the checkout we were surprised with two certificates of stay for our bellowed cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ We would be happy to return and stay here again!

Just like last time when we stayed at this beautiful hotel, we felt slightly disappointed with the breakfast choices. Epirus is an area known for its goat and sheep dairy products, milk, yogurt, cheese… However, all dairy was cow’s and not quite organic or local. In general, the breakfast had low quality protein sources. For example, smoked trout would have been great since this fish is traditional in this area. Perhaps anchovies or similar small fish to get the ancient Greek feel. There were too many carbs, cake, pastry, sugary spreads and beans. Eggs tasted overcooked. But, a great selection of teas was a pleasant surprise. Staff again were very kind and helpful.
