The hotel was very clean and had an amazing pool. It was very quiet and relaxing and we had a lovely view of the mountain. It is located in a remote, tiny hamlet in the middle of olive groves. If you want somewhere very quiet with just four tavernas in walking distance this is ideal. Up the road from the hotel opposite a bakery you can catch the bus into Kissamos ( bus every half past the hour, 2 euros, 10 mins) which is a small town. Down the road is an amazing quiet beach with 3 tavernas. It was an idyllic holiday for a rest, not touristy at all, in fact we mainly saw local Greeks. We didn’t have a car and managed very well walking and getting the bus, with taxis back at night. The best taverna by far is the one by the sea, immediately on the right corner of the road, which looks quiet, but the lady who cooks is amazing!! Run by a man and his wife, traditional Greek food, the taverna is called Leonidas.

No facilities to make a hot drink in the hotel which we missed. No opportunities for any day trips which would have been nice.

The staff were great and helped me when I needed help with a printout for work. They also printed out a bus schedule for me so I could get to town. The property is a bit far away from the main town but it's worth the few Euros it takes for the bus. It's the perfect getaway for that area. I also really liked the retro look of the elevator.

When I was there I was expecting room service but they really don't have any. You'll have to find food elsewhere, but there are a number of restaurants nearby.

Everything about this place was awesome except the bed was so hard. It was not easy to sleep on. The location was amazing. The breakfast was good.. The pool was amazing and so great to swim. Our balcony view of the sea was breathtaking.
