We stayed in a family room with our 2 kids (10 and 14 years old) for 9 nights in July 2025. This is a great place to stay. Enough kitchen equipment with coffee maker and kettle. (Small tip may be you can put afew tea bags until we buy our stuff). The place is being cleaned everyday. It is super clean in overall. Dish washing soap+ sponge included and being refilled incase needed. In the bathroom shampoo+showergel are included. There are enough white towels (small and big) for all of us (tip for the guests: towels are not allowed to take them to the swimming pool). Swimming pool is good and sufficient, our 10yo daughter enjoyed it very much! In a walking distance there is Liddle and Synka (local Greek supermarket) and in a  closer distance some other small shops. Old town is 15 min bus ride. It is very convenient. 3 beaches are very close to the place. The closest one with sand and very shallow with sand in the bottom of the sea (excellent for small kids). The other 2 beaches are a bit stones in the bottom of the sea and more deep but excellent for diving and observing the small fishes. We havent tried the breakfast option, so no comment there :) Staff is friendly, they welcome you with a special local drink (Uzo coctail). There are good local restaurant which are not tourist trap in a walking distance (we asked advice from Chat GPT :) In overall, 10 points and we're definately planning to visit here again! The location is really great for people traveling with family or friends who like a more quiet environment. The pool is perfect, big enough to be able to swim in on days when you might not feel like walking to the beach. However, the beach is only 2 minutes away, and you have 3 superb beaches nearby to choose from, all within a very short walking distance. The room/studio is spacious, it fit 4 people comfortably, the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner came every day to sweep/wash the floors and change towels. Lidl and another big supermarket is also a 10 minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would definitely love to go back here and recommend it 100% ✨

The breakfast was really great, although for the 6 mornings we had there, it was the same thing over and over again. A bit of variety with what they offered would have been welcome. The complimentary freshly squeezed orange juice was a little doze of sunshine each morning. One extra small thing that I would like to mention is not being able to open the bathroom window and air the small space.

We traveled as a family to Daratso and were truly impressed with our stay. The hotel exceeded all our expectations! A big bravo to the entire staff – everyone was polite, smiling, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel was well cared for down to the smallest detail. We felt completely satisfied and right at home. Keep up the excellent work – you're doing a fantastic job! We’re already looking forward to seeing you again next year!

It is a great location, away (but not too far) from Chania town, close to the park and a stroll away from the beach. It was the perfect room setting for us as we had our toddler. So having a small kitchen to prepare or cook something quick was super important. Even though we didn't use pool facilities, it looked clean and the sunbeds looked comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

There was no information regarding pool towels before our booking. The hotel offers them for an extra charge. It would be good to know this info beforehand. Even though there was a daily cleaning service, still the floor seemed somehow dusty and not clean.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room in the studio for 3 of us. Can't beat it for value for money! 3 lovely beaches within 5 minutes walk. Sunset beach was our favourite. Will definitely be going back!

Beautiful place! We had a basement apartment where it was quite comfortable during the hot days. Also, there is a pool, big and clean, it was a pleasure to freshen up there. Stuff is friendly. The place has its own cafe where you can get some salad, pizza, beer and a lot of other stuff. Also, they provide breakfasts, which are really good with a lot of different food presented including traditional ones (don't miss the opportunity to request it in advance and get a discount). Several beaches, restaurants and big shops (e.g. Lidl) are nearby. There always were places to park a car during our stay in June. Overall, I recommend this place and would be happy to come here again.

There was an issue with water on the floor in bathroom after taking the shower. Also, the kitchen area was a bit old and with traces of use.

Large studio with well equipped kitchen, pool with toys. :) Close to three different beaches and lots of restaurants around.

Internet connection was basically not working, sometimes even not for emails. The bed consisted of two single beds, not the most comfortable solution for a couple.

amazing location so close to the beach and plenty of options of where to shop, 20 min bus ride to the main town!! staff were so lovely and welcoming with a free welcome drink upon arrival. room was cleaned everyday and was left in perfect condition.

Walking distance from the beach and from supermarkets yet very quiet and calm location. Nice and helpful staff. Nice terrace. Free parking. Great pool.
