We loved our stay at Sun Nicolas for the following reasons: - Great location, near amazing beaches, supermarkets and restaurants in close proximity. Bus stop right outside for trips to Chania (so easy to get the bus) - Swimming pool was really nice - Room was suitable for our needs (2 adults and 2 teens), quiet, had everything we needed - Private parking when we hired a car - Jenny was an amazing host, made us feel so welcome and very friendly and helpful. She also gave us some really good tips for other areas to explore in Crete and also recommended some really nice tavernas to eat!

We had a wonderful stay at St. Nicolas in Crete! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Jenny, who was absolutely amazing kind, professional, and always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend St. Nicolas to anyone visiting Crete ,not only for the great location and comfort, but most of all for the incredible people working there. Excellent Stay with an Amazing Location! ​Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The place itself was perfect and exactly what we needed. ​A huge thank you to Jenny, our host, who was incredibly accommodating and understanding, especially with our check-in time. She went above and beyond to help us, which we really appreciate. ​We can't recommend this place enough. It's truly a fantastic option for anyone visiting.

Location was superb, very close to beaches and amenities, bus stop into town just outside. The place was private and very clean. The owner was super helpful and a great help. It was a very nice place to stay.

Slightly dated cupboards painted outside but old inside. The shower took some getting used to, it was far too small, needed to stand outside it to get showered. This could be improved. But what I really did not like was my stay was too short.

We booked Sun Nicolas due to location and positive feedback we had read. We definately made the right choice, we were located right next to the bus stop for Chania and Jenny our host was the most friendly lovely person. So helpful and greeted us every day with a smile which made us feel so at home and welcome. Our flight inbound landed late but Jenny waited up for us to arrive and our flight home was a late flight and again Jenny was so helpful by letting us keep the room a little longer to freshen up before we departed. Thank you Jenny to you and your team for making our stay so relaxing and comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like, everything was just perfect.

The apartment was big with one separate bedroom, both rooms with air conditioner. Kitchen fully equipped, electric jug, coffee express. It was cleaned every day , towels changed often, and I never saw dirty ones. At the begging we get soap and tooth brush sets. Toilet small but clean.Big terrace . Poll , clean, water warm, for us size was enough, nearby the pool sun beds and sun umbrellas. Hotel is situated about 400 meters from the beach (at least 3 beaches). Couple taverna's and markets (even Lidl, and local Syn.ka)near the hotel. For the desert staff - wear kind and always helpful with a lot of information whatever you may need. Very good quality for the price. Jenny and rest of staff - thank you for beautiful vacation!!!

Nothing. What I eventually point if you are going to cook some dishes, it would be good to have better electric stove or pot and pan suitable for one the is in the room - very long heating up and cooking.. To consider - change lights for brighter.

We really loved the place! Jenny is a perfect host, always smiling, helpful. She even offered vegetables from their garden, yummy :) The apartment we stayed in was very spacious and the cleaning was done every day! The location is great as you can reach a couple of beaches on foot, and the bus to Chania goes every 10 minutes or so. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Do not expect a new and modern apartment, it is very clean and comfortable though, we would not hesitate to go back. One minus was the bathroom which is tiny but this is very common in Greece.

Jenny is an amazing host, always kind and available to help! The hotel is in a very good location and the general facilities are good!

The studio's bathroom, and specifically the shower, is not really satisfactory. We didn't pay attention to the descriptions or previous comments, but I advise to check the bathroom details of the other rooms instead of booking the studio.

Jenny (who is incredibly friendly) met us near midnight on a Friday for check-in. The place is in a excellent location – near beaches, stores, cafes, restaurants, etc – and quiet (especially if you want to relax in the pool are). It is also very easy to rent a car from places nearby and from there to get to amazing beaches like Balos, Falassarna or Elafonissi.

The apartment had everything we needed, balcony was perfect for sunrise and sunset. Great for people watching too. The pool was perfect and quiet. Jenny was wonderful and very accommodating to our late arrival. The location is perfect. The buses to Chania centre are so cheap, quick and often. The bus stop is only a few steps away from the apartment. The area has plenty of beaches with 5-10min walk, an abundance of places to eat and drink.
