The family that runs this place is fantastic. So friendly, accommodating and helpful. This was our first time in Crete and they were helpful to teach us how to bus around and to get us organized to hike Samariá gorge (which was different for us because we weren’t coming back but rather carrying on to Sfakia for a few days. We had balconies facing the ocean and a quick walk around the corner to get to Apostoli Beach. The facility itself is quaint, has AC and was kept very clean

The accommodation was excellent in every aspect: size, facilities, comfort and proximity to the beach, bars et al. The specific one had fully functional smart TVs (thanks to the internet connectivity mentioned below) in the bed and the living rooms, which is a nice feature. The internet connectivity that the hotel offered was excellent, something that many many other properties did not have. I would love to return to the property to work remotely for a while from Chania! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, giving useful hints and tips!

Everything was great.The staff were friendly, Antonio and his wife were very helpful and welcoming. The room is spacious, the room was cleaned almost every day, and the towels were changed regularly. The room had everything you needed. The location is very close to the sea. There were small shops and a bus stop nearby. It takes 20 minutes to get to the center of Chania by bus.

The friendly attitude of the staff. They are almost always presents there, but only to be helpful, not to interfere. I felt like being in the family. The room/studio has all the necessary facilities for a pleasant sejur. The attention payd to details. All the support, services and profesional advices provided to the turists by the business owners.

The apartment was really cozy and the beach view was breathtaking. But the best part was Adonis and his wife. We felt super well received. And when our flight to go back was cancelled, they were extra supportive. I cannot recommend enough... Thank you so much for making our time in Crete feeling like home :D

Iolkos is a fantastic basic stay - there is everything you require in the kitchen, great room facilities and wonderful welcoming owners. Very clean and well worth the price. Steps to the beach! Close to restaurants and plenty of parking. We’re so happy we booked here!

The location is great, just three minutes from the beach. The apartment is neat and tidy, has different kitchen appliances. You can see the sea from the balcony of the room where I was staying. The host is nice and professional. It is a budget friendly stay, but excellent as one

I wish there was a breakfast option

Our stay at Iolkos was perfect. It’s so close to the beach, restaurants, bus to Chania and the area is nice, quiet and friendly. The room was clean and the owner is such a cool friendly guy. We arrived late, almost at midnight and he had made sure we had water, breakfast, fruits, wine and local Raki in our room. What a great service 😀 We stayed 2 weeks and could have stayed 2 more 😊🇬🇷

We enjoyed everything, from the location on the beach, the apartment itself, the view from the balcony, the proximity to Chania city, up to the hospitality of our host, Antonis. We had great time to Iolkos.Thank you!

Hosts were very attentive and nice, the hotel is in great proximity to the beach. It is also clean, and has everything one might need for a comfortable stay (kitchen, balcony, etc.)

There was not something we didn't like in particular -- it is a great place for an apartment stay. If you are coming for facilities like pool or bar, perhaps it is not the right choice.
