I have had an amazing time at Jechrina! I had the warmest of welcomes by Jerry and his family , he explained everything clearly to me and showed me to my one bedroom apartment which was spacious, beautifully clean, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning. The pool is just perfect, plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas, the food and atmosphere in the restaurant are second to none, I tried a variety of starters, salads, homemade mains and desserts..delicious! The icing on the cake is definitely the treatment from Jerry, Veronica, family and staff,(not forgetting Ida the lovely cleaner)nothing is too much trouble, I can’t wait to return and highly recommend.

The location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had a 1 bed apartment which was large and kept super clean by the cleaner who was lovely. The owners, Jerry and family are hospitable friendly and approachable, always happy to help with a question and Jerry sorted transfers back to the airport, the cost for that was €40 euro, initially I was going to get the bus back, but once I saw they were very busy on the Chania service. standing room only mostly, I decided to opt for a taxi back to the airport. The bus stop to Chania was 5 minutes walk away and cost €1.20 each way. The pool newly renovated, was large for the size of the hotel, warm, clean and refreshing after a day at the Beach, we had it to ourselves most times. Plenty of sunbeds, and to have the option of a bar and restaurant on site was a plus, the hotel is small only 10 rooms, so nice and cosy, family run who work there socks off, the restaurant is open for breakfast and until the last person leaves at night, in regards to that there was rarely any one past 11pm and noise was so minimum that there was probably more traffic noise from the main road than there was from anything in the hotel. We had a great time, eat some amazing food and drank plenty of Mythos, have a great time and thank you to Jerry and family for a great time, Yammas!!!

I researched the hotel before hand, Google map, street view, read reviews etc, so knew it was by a main road, so I was prepared for road noise, it wasn't as bad as I expected, you did get the usual moped noise but mostly I never thought it was a concern.

A truly wonderful week spent at Jechrina with my daughter. Its small, peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, they made us feel like part of their family. Swimming pool is huge, food is delicious and location is 2 mins from the beach and 15 mins taxi to Chania. All in all, this is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Thank you to Yanna, Jerry, Veronica and all for making it an unforgettable holiday for me and Liv. 😊

The hotel is wonderful, very friendly staff. Excellent accommodation option, right next to the sea. The nearest beach is a 5-6 minute walk, but there are other options within walking distance. The apartments are easily accessible from the center of Chania by bus. There are also two good supermarkets nearby. The room is very spacious, the kitchen is excellent for cooking. Each room had air conditioning - it really saved us from the heat. We also liked the restaurant - the portions are large and filling, the prices are not expensive.

I don't know where to start. Just overall amazing. Big and comfy bed, spacious apartment, spottless clean when we arrived and they kept cleaning it every day. Exceptional staff. I don't feel right calling them staff, they're a lovely family. Even the cleaning lady was happy and courteous all the time! Lovely yard with a pool and a restaurant that always seemed to be full, it seemed to advertise itself since people kept coming back for the great food and service. Even though the restaurant was under our window, it was never loud and respectfully closed early, allowing the hotel guests to rest. Overall a quiet area where you can feel rested all the time. The whole family was great to us, we arrived kind of late and also had to leave very early (before dawn) Yanna was very understanding and helpful with this, made no fuss whatsoever and arranged a kind taxi driver for us. Location - also amazing. 4 beautiful beaches are literally within walking distance. We even walked back from Chania city one day. It's about 3 kilometers, definitely doable. The city bus stops on this street, it's reliable and takes you to the city quickly. Really no need to use a taxi unless it's after midnight. There's no doubt I'd come back!

When I look back on our stay at the hotel, there's literally nothing to complain about.

what was not to like. We stayed for 10 days in these fantastic apartments. They were clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The pool and area were very clean and plenty of sun beds available. Great location for 3 good sandy beaches, exploring the headlands, and on a direct bus route into Chania every 20mins and from early in morning till last bus at 11.30, or a taxi back. Quieter resort, so not for anyone wanting music bars or nightclubs, but lots of lovely restaurants and tavernas to while away the evenings at. Having said that we ate at the on site restaurant 3 evenings as the food was so good, mama’s baklava must be one of the best we’ve had. The family that run these apartments are so friendly and helpful, special mention to Jerry and Veronica who were there whenever we had a question or query. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

The fact we had to come home.

We had such a nice stay. Already looking for flights to go back to Jechrina! The apartment was big with a terrace,and very clean. The owners are wonderful,and the rest of the staff too. Lovely pool,but the best thing about the place is the food in the restaurant. It was excellent! Easy to travel around in Crete from here, busstop very close. Not far from Chania,easy to find.

No negative comment from me.

They were able to satify our apartment request during the booking process while it was initially not available. Communication has been fast and precise after the booking process. The place has been renovated and everything was as expected. Apartment is quite big, clean and well equipped. Pool view from the balcony was great. The possibility to use a pool is a great plus. Possibiilty to have a free parking on site. Hosts have always been very helpful, friendly and they can organize tours in case you don't have a car or want to have everything organized. It's at walking distance from one of the best the beaches we found in the whole island: sandy beach and clear water.

I would add a microwave to the apartment, would be really very useful.

Size of room. Comfy large bed. Excellent shower blackout shutters were appreciated. Good quality sheets and towels. Friendly family. Excellent food in the restaurant. Lovely pool area.

Room needed a toaster. Also maid could have done better. Don't think the floor was mopped in the whole 2 weeks we were there. There was a piece of dried pasta from a previous guest under the table when we arrived and it was still there when we left 2 weeks later.
