The hotel we stayed at was truly a lovely place. It stands out for its beautiful, large swimming pool, which is perfect for children, and its peaceful surroundings. The windmill-style design adds a unique and special touch to the atmosphere. It was an excellent base for day trips to some amazing destinations in the area, such as Elafonissi, Falassarna, Kedrodasos, and of course, Balos, which we visited by boat from Kissamos. It's worth noting that having a car is necessary to get around. However, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, and restaurants are all within a short distance from the property, making everything very convenient. The staff were wonderful, with a special mention to Mr. Giorgos, who was exceptional. He helped us with everything we needed and answered all our questions—whether about the wind or anything else we were curious about. Another highlight was the lovely balcony, where we enjoyed our breakfast or lunch, and in the evenings, it was the perfect spot to relax with a drink. We truly hope to return one summer again. It was a wonderful experience!

Lovely friendly staff. Plenty of hot water for showers with regular change of clean towels and bedding. Quiet location which had a pleasant rustic charm. All apartments had a private outdoor area with table, chairs and and a parasol. Pool facilities very good with nice area to relax. The apartment was very good value for money. For us a car was essential to get about and visit the lovely beaches and the local town for shopping.

The apartment was a little dark, perhaps better lighting if possible.

The hotel is exceptional. The location is perfect, not in the crowd, and close to everything. There is a big parking so it's perfect for travelling by car. We had a room with a sea view, a great terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner watching gorgeous mountains and beautiful sea. The room has everything needed for cooking and resting. It's also perfect for travelling with kids as we had a personal playground for only our kid. It's near a beautiful pool that is available for usage. The territory of the hotel is really amazing. We're delighted with the best staff and we found more than we could imagine. Highly recommended! We're beyond grateful 🙏

Phenomenal private swimming pool and exterior facilities. Unique and quirky design interesting. Georges and the staff always on hand and nothing too much to ask. Perfect location to explore the west of Crete. Highly recommend, we all loved our stay here.

Interior dated and needs modernization. Master en-suite isn't usable, just too small. Some odd things like swimming pool vent pipe (or something from pump room) opens up into living room, so you get strange noises through the night. But it's all made up by being exceptionally clean and a bit different.

It was a return visit for us, we stayed a month in 2023 and liked it so much we booked this year too. The location and grounds are great, and the pool is very clean and suitable for adults and children alike. There are several really good restaurants in the vicinity and the beach is a relatively short walk, although we always hire a car.

Some rooms would benefit from improved insulation

Great structure, really appreciated the little terrace under the mill. Large for two people, in particular the bedroom. The kitchen had the essentials to cook basic meals. The position Is good because you can reach every famous beach of the coast whitin 30-40 mins ( the furthest is Elaphonisi with and affordable 1 hour by car). But the thing we loved the most was the company of a Little cat ( that we named Mylos but who knows) who loved napping on our terrace and asking for cuddles and food. If you see him or any other cat please be kind, they are very friendly. We will miss u Mylos.

The bathroom was a bit small and the shower too. The residence is difficult to reach for the fist time because the position is not properly marked and reported nor on the road and on Google Maps. Once you learn its position the problem disappears but one or two signals to help won't do bad!

Very nice swimming pool, nice apartments with everything you need, very comfortable bed. Beautiful place with it's unique built area.

Shower is very small, the shower room it self is big enough, but badly planned and the actual shower have so little space. For breakfast we got hot sandwiches, witch was very tasty, but 8€ for a sandwich is too much. Day before we been told it will be 6€ for breakfast, but some how in the morning price jumped to 8€ :).

The room was clean, the terrace was very nice, the crew was hospitable, and it’s 5 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach that was clean and quiet. And such cute and child friendly pool!!

The Room that was supposed to be suitable for 4 was a bit too small (enough for 3 I would say), only 1 electric socket in the parents room and it didn’t work. The shower hard to operate, the staff is very nice but very poor English so hard to communicate the issues. Best to write messages through booking or WhatsApp to Dimitra and she’l help.

Nice apartment in a good location near the main road. The apartment was a little tight for our family of 4, would be suitable for couples or families with young children. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time there. Location is very convenient for shorter drives to the beaches on the west side of the island. Excursions are offered, you should inquire before arrival so you can make reservations in advance. It is a nice quiet place to stay just minutes from Kissamos where you can go for dining or groceries.

The hotel was very pretty and the owner was a greek man very friendly and helpful, i asked on my last day if i could extended my stay one more night and he was good and let me stay longer with no problems
