Great location, right on the road through with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The food in the hotel was pretty good but clearly knows it's out-beaten by the many dedicated eateries around the area, but the sunset from their restaurant is pretty stunning. The pool and beach beds were excellent and just the right location for those who like their sun throughout the day. Nothing really bad to say about the hotel. They were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

- we were half board which was great value, the dinner on an evening was superb. It was a set menu, however I was able to change if I did not like something which was great. - lovely pool area - spacious rooms - owners were lovely - the restaurant has the most amazing view of the harbour - bus stop right outside the hotel for transport into chania ( takes 25 minutes )

- breakfast was very basic, not much options and same everyday, however we did not mind as we didn’t each much anyway for breakfast. - no shower head so had to hold shower head. - the hotel was on a very busy road; however our room was not near road but still quiet loud during night.

We loved the location overlooking the marina & bay each morning while we enjoyed breakfast at the upstairs restaurant. The Brekky was a good standard, although no fresh fruit. There’s a lovely beach & a supermarket 2 minutes walk. We enjoyed the pool area & loungers to relax on. The beds were very comfortable & the staff were so friendly & helpful. We ended up returning to the hotel restaurant 3 of our 4 nights, because the food was so good, the prices were reasonable & the waitress was so cheerful & chatty.

The shower didn’t have a wall fixture, it was handheld, so it made washing your hair rather inconvenient. I also didn’t love how all the balconies are facing each other in close proximity……it made me a bit uncomfortable being out there if others were already sitting on theirs, and I felt like people could easily look into our room.

Lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. Staff were very extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was great and never crowded. Always got a sun bed. 4 mins walk from the beach. Lots of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. 4 mins walk to the bus stop for Chania. Bus is every 15 mins and cost €2.50pp on the bus or €1.60 if you buy a ticket at the nearby kiosk.

My 25 days trip to Greece finished with my stay in Akasti. I loved every moment of staying there. I didn't expect luxurious room but found the hotel very comfortable, super friendly owners and what a great cook. Rooms cleaned everyday, I was lucky to have a nice balcony towards the sea and thanks to Raya, I could book several tours with hotel pick up form the hotel. I felt very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed there.

This is a family-run hotel, where they work hard for the guests. We were very well received by this nice family, and they were never a problem to ask them for one or the other. Reinforced internet was installed, when we were guests who provided a super good connection online. The hotel is highly recommended. Super nice Greeks outweigh a lot, against the whole.

Staff were fantastic...friendly, welcoming and eager to please! Nice restaurant with fabulous view. Great menu and excellent value. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Would have been nice to have the bar open during the day for drinks and light lunches, but the hotel is family run and I guess they need some time out during the day.

not a lot variety of food choices at breakfast, had to eat same food every morning, but it was fine for adults. we had broken glass one morning on stairs, good that noone got hurt!

The stuff is absolutely incredible and caring. The location is actually the best I have seen. On the last day I actually regretted not staying there longer. Absolutely amazing overall!

Just the bathroom is a bit funny to use as it is actually a shower room. Not too bad though.

The view from the restaurant was amazing especially at sunset. The pool and the room were always daily cleaned with new towels. The dinner was amazing, every night we got to try a different greek specialty. The staff was always kind and easy to talk to, very generous. :)

The bathroom was pretty small. Instead of a bath curtain which made it difficult to take a shower, maybe a sliding door would be better. Maybe add some fruit for breakfast. :)
