We looved this hotel. The location was good for going to the Kalamaki beach, just a couple of min walking distance. Also you can take the bus to go a bit farther beached like the Golden beach. I think these beached were the best ones in Crete. I don't like too much waves and the water here was very still. And the beach was all sand. I loved it. Also there are small markets around you can find anything you like. Oh and the breakfast was A M A Z I N G. What's even better was the view of the terrace you have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again.

I like the accommodation in general, the breakfast was good and tasty, the personal were friendly, the sea was near (but i would highly recommend Yaniss beach place - 30 min walk by the sea coast, that is joyful on it own). There are pure nature - the beach settled down under pine trees, that give shade and wonderful smell as well, either a picturesque cave over there, really photogenic one, and the sea is always calm - you would enjoy swimming.

the road was nearby, was quite noisy, but doable. All the rest I really liked, enjoyed.

Very clean and comfortable hotel breakfast was good, the pool area was very good clean and enought beds and seating area, toilet near pool very clean lovely view from breakfast area and pool area. The room was clean tidy fresh towels and bedding on a regular basis.

The only couple of things that we missed was not having sky news and bbc news on the tv in the room we like to keep intouch with whats going on in the world and not having much snacks and drinks in the pool area they were limited on these items.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is polite and friendly. Enough breakfast choices and wonderful views during breakfast

There is a beach across the street from the hotel, but the beach is impracticable (no sunbeds or umbrellas) so it's not really a "beach hotel". Too bad the restaurant is not available in the evening to be able to watch the sunset - it could be a cocktail bar, at least. There is not much to do around the hotel - only a small supermarket nearby. We had a car so we travelled to other beaches/areas of Chania

We had fantastic breakfast with a lot of fruit and different local specialities every day on the roof terrace. Our room was cleaned every day. The view is also fabulous, you are 10 steps from the sea. Bus stop is right at the hotel. You can get to Chania in 10-15 min by bus.

A little bit noisy, but maybe because we were in the first room near the entrance. Smoke in the bathroom every day through the ventillation system. We don't know the origin 'cause smoking is forbidden in the rooms, I think.

I love this hotel, I will come again for sure. I had a big apartment with a terrace and a mini kitchen (stove/sink) included. It was super comfortable, spacious, and clean. Pleasant staff are always there to help with any question. The hotel has a swimming pool and breakfast terrace with a great view of the sea. Drinking morning coffee with a sea view was my favorite experience in this hotel. Breakfast is excellent and diverse.The hotel is in a great location in Kalamaki, just a few meters away from the bus station for bus 21 for Chania town, and the nearest beaches Aggi Apostoli and Chryssi Akti. I will gladly choose again Kalamaki and Porto Alegre Hotel.

Wi- fi was not working in the room when I had checked in and for the first two days of my stay, but luckily the technical issue was fixed in the meantime

Everything was great. The hotel staff very friendly and kind, hotel facilities, clima, cleaning, location also good:. Close to Chania by 21 bus. You can buy tickets in kiosk by the traffic lights near the beach. Beach is nice, the hotel pool is absolutly great. We liked breakdast a lot. There was everything you need (main course, local dishes, fruit, vegetables, sweet cakes, nutella, jam, juice, good coffee, tea, milk etc.). You absolutly will not be hungry. We highly recommend the place and will come back.

Considering the cost, services and quality.. this was definetely the top pick (including a pool) for me of all the hotels I could dig up around Chania. The location isn't propably the best, but it depends on what you are looking for. The location is quite quiet as there are not so many hotels at this area. It is still very close (~1km walk) to Agii Apostoli beach which is in my perspective one of the best (tourist) beaches around Chania (not so crowded, but still with all the sunbeds and sandy beach it's a top notch place to be and enjoy your stay). Most of the restaurants are in Agii Apostoli area as well, so when you're hungry, you might have to take a little walk before that. The bus line 21 goes every 20min to Chania just from front of the hotel so if you're interested in going to Chania, it's an about 30-40min trip with the bus (bus ticket is 1,5e if bought from the market, 2,5e if bought from inside the bus). The bus goes the other way as well to Agii Marina or Platanias. Breakfast on the hotel was mediocre. Bread and toppings and jams etc, eggs, coffee, cerials, salad, orange juice.. So a lot of variety, but nothing exclusively fancy either.. But I was very happy considering the low cost of the stay at the hotel. And as an extra bonus the breakfast was served at the roof balcony with a view to the sea. So quite nice way to start your day! Services at the hotel were good. You can buy some snack food or salads and buy drinks to the pool. Pool area had free sunbeds and they didn't charge any extra for the air cooling in the rooms or use of the safety box. I have seen that multiple times on other hotels that you need to pay extra for those. They had free parking as well for the guests. The room had an fridge as well. The staff was super friendly, although I could add that it happens to go with all the Greek people :)

I had a good stay and I didn't find anything that I would want to specificly say that I did not like.. The bath tub drain didn't flow well :D The bottom floor room terrace was not ideal as well as you only had the parking lot and car license plates to look at! But I don't go to Creta to hang around in the hotel room.

If you want to be able to travel to the city on a regular basis but don't want to live too close to it, we strongly suggest this hotel. It was a lovely, fresh breakfast. The hotel's staff was exceptional; very grateful for their generosity and kindness.

A bus stop is located at a short distance from the hotel. You can get to the city by bus. Although it was a relief, the 25-minute bus ride may be rather exhausting. Since it varies from person to person, it wouldn’t alter my recommendation.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It had an outdoor area with a clothes dryer (very handy) and a table. It was on the 1st floor facing the back of the property which gave us great privacy. The view at the breakfast terrace is stunning and the food is tasty. We took a day to chill out at the swimming pool and it was very relaxing. The bus stop is a few meters away and it takes 25 minutes to the city centre. We got the bus cause it can be hard to find parking in the city. There are restaurants and mini markets at walking distance to the hotel and the location is also very close to the highway making it easy to drive places. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they recommended great places around. The room was cleaned every day. We are very happy we chose to stay here. Would definitely come back!!

There was only a minor inconvenience there was a strange smell in the bathroom coming from the drain. Had to cover the drain with foot mat. But it was not a big deal.
