I was very happy with the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and really nice to look at as well. It had some kitchen gadgets, a kettle, very comfortable mattresses, a large balcony, and more. As a welcome, a local traditional drink was ready for us, as well as a complimentary bottle of water, which was very appreciated, I must say! It was a lifesaver. A lovely, small but spacious pool, with just about 10-12 rooms, so no crowds are waiting for breakfast or at the pool. It's a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 20-minute bus ride to Chania's old town. There are two supermarkets nearby, small gift shops, and a variety of cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Just perfect and staff at reception- a lady and a young man were extra helpful, especially the young man, who got us information about interesting trips and helped us to book transport, etc.

The ONLY thing I did not like was that the bedroom and toilet room had a glass wall on the top, it was a bit uncomfortable when you wanted to sleep and others were still awake, and the walls are a bit thin, so the privacy when using the WC was a bit limited.

This is a very high quality apartment hotel, beautifully designed and furnished. Owned and operated by Christina to exceptional standards, she’s very friendly and helpful with many suggestions for activities to suit your interests. Eva prepares a varied breakfast and looks after the cleaning of the rooms. All done conscientiously and in a friendly manner. Pool and garden make this a pleasant and relaxing place to stay, small and never crowded. A few minutes walk to good beaches, restaurants and a small supermarket. Just a heads-up; the kitchen facilities are a little limited (no oven or microwave) but don’t let this deter you from staying here.

Great home from home. Christina was very welcoming and kept in touch with our group from booking through to check-in and check-out. The apartment was modern, spacious and very very clean, ideal for our group of 3 friends. The hotel is in a great location, half hour drive from the airport and there is a small car park on site. The local beach and sea front restaurants are 5-10 min walk down the road, equally the hotel is close to the main motorway for those venturing further afield. Great but simple breakfast offering, hot and cold options, there was something for everyone. Most guests seemed to head out during the day so we had the pool to ourselves. Christina was not always at the hotel but we had her number for any queries or issues. She kindly leant us a beach umbrella for our stay which we took out and about whilst exploring. Overall, we would recommend and hope to visit again next year!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Icarus Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every little detail, no matter how small, was meticulously attended to, making our stay nothing short of perfect. Christina went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was flawless. I cannot recommend Icarus Hotel highly enough. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or a luxurious escape, this hotel is the perfect choice. Christina and her team have created a true gem where every guest is treated like royalty. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

A great, cozy hotel in a fantastic location. The breakfasts were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and air-conditioned. There’s access to a pool and free parking. The hotel is close to the sea, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend renting a car, as the hotel’s location makes it easy to reach all the most beautiful spots on the island. 10/10!

Lovely host very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious and renovated to high standards. The mattresses were awesome which is often an issue in Greece even in top notch restaurants. The cleaner was literally amazing. We felt bad we left the place quite messy every day and she was even folding all our clothes. Incredible.

Could change the main sofa - had some rough edges and it can cause injuries especially with kids. Would be great to get some more options of hot food on the breakfast - eggs were a bit overcooked. But other than that everything else was perfect.

I’ve been with my gf for 5 days and it has been amazing. The pool was good, the apartment always amazing, with the bathtub really nice, also the shower was really nice. I also organized a surprise for her with the receptionist that let us find some pretty decorations in the room. The room always cleaned properly. Anyway the stay has been perfectly

Modern clean hotel. Staff are wonderful. Christine is an amazing owner and always present at the hotel. Any questions she answers immediately. If you want to stay out of the Chania this place ticks all the boxes. Walking distance to supermarkets and a local beach with wonderful food. Great spacious hotel for families

The second bedroom doesn’t have a closet. You will need a car if you want to go to the center of China. This was not a problem for us. It’s a 10/15 min drive

Location is perfect for if you want to visit Chania Town but you don’t want to stay in the city. It’s a 30 min bus from the centre that comes every 15mins and runs late. It’s a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach and there’s so many restaurants around. The staff are amazing. Especially the man that works the front desk. He helped us with every enquiry, even printing out bus times for us. Apartments are clean and comfy. The place is small so really quiet and the pool is lovely.

Breakfast is lovely but there isn’t a massive selection, so if you stay longer than a week it might get repetitive. In the kitchenette there is only a hob, no oven, which would have been helpful but not a massive issue. Nothing that would stop me staying there again!

The hotel is very pretty, all nicely finished with taste. Rooms are specious and comfortable, the second shower in the bedroom is a nice addition. There is air conditioning in both rooms and a large balcony, small kitchen with all essential equipment and a TVs in both rooms, don't know if they work though as we didn't try them. A nice breakfast in an outdoor garden area was lovely. A very nice guy that works in reception named Dimitri gave us the best recommendations on where to go and eat. We loved the beautiful island of Crete as well as the Greek people and we will definitely go back there again.
