EVERYTING!!! It was just amazing, very relaxing atmosphere and the host was super helpful and friendly. We locked ourselves out of the room one night and Vassilis came and helped us very promptly. We had a great spacious room on the ground floor and the air conditioning wasn’t even needed. The bed was super comfy and the cleaning was always done wonderfully every time. Also, there were a lot of cute cats around 🐈 The pool was amazing after a hot day in the sun ☀️ We would love to come back again because we had such a great time!!

Wonderful stay at Kanso Rooms. The team at Kanso Rooms looked after us and were super helpful throughout our stay. Communication prior to arriving was excellent - facilitating our late night arrival and booking transport from the airport. Room and area were perfect - lots of lovely spots to relax and rest, and the cats were a delight. Location was good - only a short 10 min walk to an excellent beach at the bottom of the main road, and 10 min walk in the other direction to the village…with an ace little local food shop (who were lovely), a butcher, super little bakery, coffee shop and one of the best restaurants in the area - Mastrapas. Sad to leave.

Amazing staff very clean friendly owner was extremely accommodating. Lots of cats and very cute dogs that are very calm and just sit around wagging their tails! Everything was spotless and the rooms are very modern. Very well located not far from the main strip and definitely gives a cozy family vibe with the beautiful backyard pool area they have. We will definitely be coming back here soon best place we have stayed at in a very long time wow!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Kanso Rooms and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The property was immaculate, with every corner spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a smile. The serene atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness made it a perfect retreat. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and pristine place to stay.

The room is very beautifully and tastefully decorated, facilities are very well maintained, and the pool is really clean. The host was most welcoming and ready to help with any needs you have. There are parking spots inside the yard so you don't have to worry about that.

Because of the olive trees in the yard there are a lot of cicadas which are very noisy, but there is nothing that the propriety can do about it. It is just something you need to take into account.

Amazing little boutique hotel slightly outside of Chania. I had one of the ground floor, pool-facing rooms, it was very spacious, comfortable and clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped to be able to cook your own meals, although the kitchenette is tiny, all the equipment you need is available. I loved the pool area in particular, with sun beds and even a hammock, it was so quiet and peaceful when I visited as it was early in the season. The hosts were super lovely and helpful, and the cleaning ladies did a thorough job every day, even doing the dishes which was such a luxury! The supermarket is ca 10 mins walk (note - up the hill on the way back so can be though in the heat), and you can catch a bus once an hour to and from Chania just outside of the hotel which takes between 17-35 mins (shorter into town, longer on the way back). I had an amazing week's stay and can highly recommend Kanso!

Nothing major to fault really, the only thing was that there were no wine glasses, so I had to buy my own which I left behind when I left. Also worth noting is that the property has resident cats who will appear the moment you open the fridge (if you leave the room's door open) or sit outside to eat, so if you are not a cat person, then don't book one of the ground floor rooms because you'll be on constant surveillance :D

We loved the whole set-up at Kanso rooms. The accommodation was spacious, very clean, with a huge comfortable bed. The air conditioning was very effective. Another useful feature was the sliding insect screen across the patio door, which meant we could leave the door to the balcony open without worrying about any unwanted visitors sneaking in. There are only a few rooms, so the nice pool and surrounding area (which offered comfortable sun loungers and mature olive trees for shade) were not too busy and that adds to the friendly atmosphere of Kanso rooms. The owners were lovely, and an additional bonus for us was the group of cats they kindly look after. We had a ground-floor room and were delighted to receive visits from the young cats who made us laugh with their antics.

There was really nothing to dislike.

Setting was nice. We enjoyed the cats which was a big reason we booked here. Hope they spay and neuter them!

Overall a good stay but just a few things to note. We were on the first floor and every time someone flushed or showered above us the water loudly goes through our bathroom and can be heard in the room. It startled me every time it happened as it sounds like the bathroom is flooding. Also it would be nice to have cream or milk available for provided coffee.

The location is amazing, even during heatwave, you still have a little breeze and the pool. The room was fully equipped and very clean! Hosts are very kind and helpful with anything you may need during your stay. It is a super relaxing environment, I would definitely go back and recommend it to other people!

Nothing that i didn't like, i would only share a note/tip for travellers: in case you are allergic to cats, maybe this is not a good option for you! You may find them in front of your door waiting for their cuddles, so better be prepared :)I personally love them and have no issue to have them around me they are super cute and friendly! Furthermore, i would suggest renting a car if you want to roam around the area.

It was a perfect accomodation for all of our needs. The view, the location, easy access to the nearby beach on foot, the cleanness, especially the friendliness of the owner Vassilis! For the price you pay, the return is beyond your expectations!!! The room is well cleaned everyday and there were no plastics waste. The swimming pool is also cleaned everyday no matter which weather conditions. The kitchen has everything for your easy food prep! The room is well decorated with natural taste which calms you down and we felt like at home. Cats and dogs are also very friendly. If we come back to Crete in the future, we will surely stay at this accomodation again! Highly recommend! :)
