The rooms are exceptional and very clean with everything you need for your stay, the cleaner comes round every other day, the food here is of a very high standard and absolutely gorgeous (had breakfast everyday and at least 3 evening meals), nikos and his wife are great hosts and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible

I stayed at Litsa Studios for 10 days (21 June - 01 July 2022). Litsa Studios are located on the outskirts of the ancient city of Malia, about 15 minutes walk from the strip. Nikos and Soula, the owners, were very friendly. The room with a double bed and private bathroom was spacious and clean. It comes with free Wi-Fi and a balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Although the kitchenette is an integral part of this studio, I enjoyed delicious Greek dishes for evening meals and Cretan salad for breakfast in the dining room on the large terrace with a snack bar. There is no swimming pool, but this is not a problem in the old village of Malia, because you can use the swimming pool in the nearby hotels if you buy a drink in the bar. I personally used the large pool at the Real Palace Hotel, which is owned by Nikos' son, about 700 meters away from Litsa Studios, where I was always warmly welcomed. I recommend this accommodation because of the low price, great food, and wonderful hosts.

The studio is located on the top floor, so during the summer heat, it can be too hot when you return to the room in the evening. Luckily, I stayed in June, when the temperatures are bearable.

A VERY clean place (regular cleaning and changing our sheets - every other day), friendly owners, nice view from the balcony, peaceful environment, close to the town centre, good moussaka (!).

No hair dryer (as advertised on this website), no soap, not enough toilet paper. Prior to our stay there, we sent a direct message about the safe for keeping our valuables and got the reply that it was already included in the price, but in spite of that, it turned out that we had to pay for that. We were charged a bit more than advertised for some of the items from the bar menu a few times.

The hotel tho small is a perfect retreat and a hidden gem, the staff so helpful and attentive, i have stayed here in the past and will 100% stay here in the future

The balcony and the view looking out to the mountains was great, I wasnt expecting it, it was super. The room was small but quality. It was located in the old town, nice and quiet, out of the way from the noisy area. The owners and the staff are great too, spot on.

The bathroom could have been better. The water didnt drain away properly from the bathroom floor so I got my socks wet couple of times. It was just a little quirk that i got used to in the end. Overall, I'd recommend.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, they made you feel at home immediately. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well looked after. The food was absolutely delicious. In general, I would recommend Litsa to anyone as one of the best value to money hotels, I have ever experienced.

The owners Nicholas and his wife have managed to make the most out of their accommodation facility. They are both very friendly and at the same time professional in their hospitality business. The first positive thing: the property is located away from the noisy streets in the center. During my stay, the common premises of the facility were kept impeccably clean as well as my room that was serviced (and even the towel changed) every 2nd day, with anti-Covid measurements applied overall in the property. You can enjoy abundant breakfast and simple yet delicious homemade food at the in-house snack bar. The owners were sincerely interested about my comfort and willing to help with any issue I had. A bonus: there is a nice terrace on the top floor to watch the sunset. 😊

There were some troubles with the Internet connection on my floor for 3 or 4 days but Nicholas was always ready to resolve them. Fortunately, most of the time the wi-fi was working fine.

This is a real gem, Super friendly, very clean I would definitely recommend

In early October it was the best value for money.We paid 25 euros for 2 nights. It was very clean.....the room and the other facilities. Very nice and kind people run this Hotel. The room had anything that you will need. Nice view from the balcony. We stayed at room 7 and 8.

maybe a Tv would be nececery for someone. I dont watch TV so it was no problem for me. WiFi sometimes didnt work properly but ok.....maybe there were many people connected at the same time.
