We loved it here, it was very clean, modern and well equipped apartment, the lady welcoming us was very pleasant and efficient, responding to our questions promptly. She even offered us an upgrade to a superior suit as it was available, free of charge, for which we're very thankful. The location was good, close to the centre, but away from the crowds. Would gladly return any time.

The only small downside were some very loud British girls on a terrace right next to ours, but it could happen anywhere in Malia. We didn't complain as it was our only night there, so we can't say anything against the property itself.

Fantastic staff that went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They were polite, respectful and entertaining. We had 3 rooms all spacious and clean, with balconies and view of the pool. Food onsite was fantastic, drinks available always, pool toys for the kids. Location was fantastic, restaurants in walking distance (10mins max) and authentic food. Local shopping and bars within 10mins to 20mins. Beach was a 20min walk. The grounds were maintained everyday, green grass, beautiful trees and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Some nights the partying went on until 2-3 am, but never a disturbance. Plenty of sun beds which are setup and put away everyday.

The property was modern, clean and in a great location for a group holiday post A-Levels. Located in the Old Town of Malia, there was a quaint nature about the aparthotel and you didn’t feel overwhelmed but just a 5 minute walk will see you at the top of the Malia strip. The facilities were fab, there was a restaurant and bar serving a wide range of dishes and toasties 24/7, a large pool with ample sun beds and well stocked kitchenette in each room. The staff really made our stay though and were on hand at all times to help us, give recommendations or to just have a chat with us. We are definitely wanting to come back next year! :)

The staff are awesome, food is great, pool is wonderful, location is amazing! Crib was provided. Our pool was open late so we could always swim and our friends pool at a different hotel closed at 8 which is awful after a long day in the sun! We miss the staff already. Zorbas around the corner is also awesome! We could hear some noise at night from the kids playing out late (our toddler joined in until 11:30pm a couple nights) but white noise took care of it for us and our room was directly next to the kitchen/bar area.

The air conditioning was in the living room and didn't reach our bedroom well but they provided us a fan. I wish there was a playground for kids:)

Good quality rooms. Modern, Light and airy. Quite large rooms. Location is in lovely old town, but the busy part of Malia is only a couple of minutes walk. Plenty of sunbeds in pleasant grassed areas, Breakfasts were pretty good, though not buffet so choice was limited to a menu. Staff friendly, simple restaurant and bar by the good pool.

Self catering apartments are not equiped for self catering. A fridge, but no utensils, no chopping board, no basic cleaning or wiping/drying cloths, no toaster, oven or microwave. Just a poor two ring cooker, a frying pan and 2 pots. Low qaulity cutlery and a mish-mash of cups and glasses that could have come from a junk shop. Strange, lots of expense to build lovely apartments and nothing spent on equiping the kitchen. Needs improving.

We had the most wonderfull stay at sarpidon apartments the staff especially Dora, Lucy, Katharina and the guy that worked nights at the bar i believe his name was Frank, were amazing they were the most lovely people that were ready to help with anything you needed! They had alot of food and drinks to choose from on their menu and there was someone available 24h a day which was super helpful. Me and my 4 friends really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!

We loved everything we could not fault one thing at Sarpidon. Every staff member was amazing to us provided us with the best experience we could ask for. We have been on quite few lads holidays now and can 100% say this was the best because of the hotel we stopped in! Big thank to Dora and Lucy especially you two made our experience and we cannot wait to see you next year. Missing you lots from Birmingham x

food is always good at the sarpidon - never had an issue. Staff are attentive and food is fresh and varied. Good value and hot with no complaints on portions

nothing could be better - will be returning in may of next year as always. The location is spot on for my needs and away from the strip just enough to remain quiet although can get busy in the june,july and august months

Really nice place to stay in Malia - away from the party mile but still very central in the nice old town. The apartment was amazing for this price, comfy beds, balcony with view of the (distant) sea, a small kitchen and the rooms are spacious. Pool & bar area also looks nice. You have some traditional greek restaurants within 2-5mins walk. I got there early before check-in time and it was no problem too, staff is very friendly. Got a room located to the backyard which was perfect for me, cause it was quiet. Would definitely recommend this place!

Nothing really. Just one small thing, if you prefer it to be quiet, maybe ask for a room located to the backyard. As in the pool area there will be music in the evenings.

Exceptional friendly hard working staff in all areas of the hotel. Bar food was great and good value. Room was very clean and spacious. Pool and garden kept clean and tidy. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.
