the location is at the end of the old city, this makes it perfect to enjoy the calmness of the countryside but at the same time it’s not far at all from the rest of the city. you get to walk and enjoy all the little cute streets of the old city of malia, and in about 25 minutes walking you get on the seaside. i liked that there’s a little kitchen in the room, it allowed us to cook whatever we wanted. the owners are really kind and available. i would go back there next summer.

sadly the beds were two single ones, so a bit uncomfortable for a couple who wanna sleep hugging. i was a bit disappointed to see that there’s a kitchen but there were no sponge or dish soap, salt/oil so we had to buy it ourselves. these are the only “negative” things that come to my mind cause the property is really peaceful and i enjoyed everything

This Family run business was just perfect and very well run,Ulaina and George run it and it is like being part of their Family,i felt it was like Home in Crete and would Love to return as soon as i can,i just returned a few weeks ago and i miss being there,love Crete,Ulaina has daughters Maria and Olga who assist in running the Apartments,also other bar staff,Rooms are kept tidy and cleaned Every day buy a young woman whom Nothing is a bother she is very profesional at what she does,look forward to see you guys again,God Bless,Love Alexander McDonald[ Scotland].

We liked everything. The facilities, the food and the staff were beyond exceptional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. We've booked back up for 10 nights in September so excited about going back.

Lovely clean apartment..Good hot shower and comfortable bed..nice balcony over looking the fabulous mountains..situated in the beautiful old town of malia..famous for its lovely restaurants.

Well run establishment room spotless food great pool area spotless well situated with some beautiful tavernas nearby to eat in food at this place was also good

Was there for ten days but were never given clean sheets or towels, ours were just remade every few days. Had to ask for more soap. Power would trip if we used the kettle and anything else. Charged €9 a day cash for aircon which was essential.

We stayed for 1 night as a stop over before our flight back to Athens. The pool and area around the pool is excellent. The room was basic, but clean. Remember to bring your own shower gel, dishwashing liquid and pool towels. Unfortunately there were many youth staying at the hotel and they were very loud and noisy until the early morning hours. But unfortunately this is unavoidable in Malia.

Spotlessly clean lovely views from pool, lovely tavernas close by. Great maid service.

Soft drinks were served from a bottle and not kept in fridge and no cans sold except for iron bru or oranges lucazade. So it was pot look if it was fizzy and just ice to cool it but that melted quickly filled half the glass and at 3 euro a pop it just wasn’t good value. Wish they sold snacks and ice pops but there was just ice cream and a bag of ready salted. Local shop is nearby and cheap for both but unfortunately your not allowed to eat them at the pool.
