Just finished a stay at this lovely beachfront hotel in Malia and it was a great experience. The private pool was a real highlight – perfect for cooling off. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach and within easy walking distance to the lively parts of town and some nice local tavernas. The hosts were excellent – friendly, helpful, and always on hand if we needed anything. The room was clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfy, though the pillows were a bit too soft for my taste (personal preference, not a dealbreaker). As expected in Malia, there were some stag and hen parties around, but nothing unexpected if you're coming to this area. If you're looking for a relaxing beach stay with your own pool (not every room has that) and enjoy a bit of nightlife nearby, this place is a great choice. Also, plenty of parking if you are driving!

Amazing staff, beautiful rooms and delicious food. Breakfast is not included, but they have different breakfast options that you can enjoy on the beach (!!) between €6 - €12, such as granola bowls, pancakes, avocado toast,... also very good lunch and dinner options (try the linguine with seafood, you'll love it) We had a room with front sea view and it was WOW!! You get towels for the beach/pool. Location: very good! Lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood (try Pergola and Anemi) and only 5 mins walk to the main road with all the pubs. 15mins walk to the old town.

We didn't know we could get our beach towels changed so we had the same ones all week. But we probably could've asked for new ones.

The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with a relaxed, coastal vibe. I especially loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee on the balcony overlooking the water—pure bliss. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a good variety to choose from each morning. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, romance, or a base to explore the island, Parthenis Beach is an ideal choice. I left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of my next visit. Highly recommended!

Sophia answered all of my questions before I arrived making coming to another country with no info so easy. On arrival our bags are taken to our room while we’re taken to the pool side for a free drink. The staff were extremely attentive and always so calm and happy. The attention to detail around the accommodation is so thought out even down to the staffs uniform matching the aesthetic and vibe which I loved! I saw a few reviews calming it to be “dated for the price” this is simply not true! The rooms are beautiful and are a perfect mix of Greek style that is dateless in my opinion! There isn’t a crazy amount of rooms so there’s always pool side cabanas and lounges for you to go to even in peak season ! I loved our stay and can’t fault this place. Easy walking distance to food and old town malia which is beautiful. Thank you Sophia and the team x

My absolute favourite thing was being right on the beach in the morning for breakfast every day. The rooms were comfortable, bed superb and great shower. The owners and the staff in the the restaurant especially were attentive and on hand at any time The sun beds on the beach were the best to be had

There is nothing I didn’t like, I would recommend to anyone There are busier parts to Malia and I’m sure during high season it would get very busy but we were there before the season kicked off for some complete downtime and that is exactly what we got

The hotel is at the beach with its own pool. The beach area and the pool area were beautiful, well designed and organized. The guests received clean towels for the beach or pool use. The apartment had a beach view, two large rooms and a very large terrace. The view were amazing, we watched the sunset from there every day. The food at the hotel was very delicious, our favorites were the Energy bowls with Greek yoghurt and oatmeal and the avocado toast. The hotel staff were always very nice and helpful. We enjoyed every moment there.

The place has a perfect view over the sea with a nice summer breeze while you spend some time eating oder just a refreshing drink. The stuff is very friendly aldow the work a lot they are always polite and ready to please your requests. Food is also great, we have tried almost everything that they have and i must say was delicious. Definitely for us a great location to enjoy the summer temperatures and have dinner with a great sunset view!

This is the perfect example of a place for family or couple vacation! The room was clean, fresh, and comfortable, and the most amazing It's just a step before your toes touch the sea. The pool and the beach were incredible! We started with Cretan breakfast and then we went to chilled at the beach. The sunbeds was so comfy, and the day was gorgeous. Jiannis and Sophia and the rest of the staff were amazing. Jiannis gave us some local recommendations for tavernas and day tours as we continued our trip to Cretan Paradise. From the first minute, we felt like we knew them like best friends. They had that classic cretan hospitality, but they were also super professional. I've been traveling the world since 2010, and this place is the perfect definition of a home away from… HOME!

We recently spent four nights at the Parthenis Beach Hotel in Crete, and it was a fantastic experience overall. This family-owned hotel made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we checked in. The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning ensuring everything was always in perfect condition. Location: The hotel's location is superb, offering easy access to the beach and being just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Malia. This made exploring the area convenient and enjoyable. Staff: The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. They were always willing to assist us or engage in pleasant conversation, adding to the overall warmth of our stay. Dining: The fresh juices at the hotel were delicious, and the lunch menu at the beachside restaurant was excellent. We tried almost everything on the menu during our stay and were particularly impressed with the fresh fish catch of the day – it was absolutely delicious. Amenities: The pool area is a significant highlight, offering a great alternative to the sea. The sunbeds were thick, comfortable, and clean. We appreciated being able to enjoy the beach and pool on our last day even after checking out, and the hotel kindly provided towels for us to shower before our evening flight. Sunsets: One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the gorgeous sunsets. Whether you're dining at the restaurant or lounging on a sunbed as a late tanner, watching the sun set is an experience not to be missed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The combination of great location, exceptional staff, delicious food, excellent amenities, and stunning sunsets made our stay truly memorable.

A truly great family run hotel. The personell is very attentive. We were greated with a welcome drink and were than lead to our beautiful room with a great view and spacious balcony. A true Oasis in crete with direct access to the beach, kind personell, great food and overall a relaxing atmosphere. A major difference to other hotels is that it is not a party hotel with extremely loud and annoying evening entertainement and music. Rather it is a place to truly relax. Thank you for the great stay!
