Where to begin! The hosts were warm, informative and attentive. Breakfasts were beyond! Eggs any way you like them, bacon, fruit, cereals, heavenly yoghurt, pastries, cakes, fresh orange juice, coffee teas! And when it was too much for us to finish, our hosts wrapped up goodies in foil for us to enjoy throughout the day! A block from all the action of the old town yet very quiet at night. Views of the Palamidi palace and old fort. Shot walking distance to everything (port, shops, restaurants, cafes, town squares, attractions)! Our rooms had lovely balconies for taking the sun and enjoying a drink. No noise can be heard from other rooms. Super clean with service and fresh towels each day. It was simply outstanding! Sad to leave buy we will be back!!!

This is a family-run hotel and everyone was just lovely, so kind and nice, we can't thank them enough. The hotel itself is very centrally located, in the old town, but at the same time very quiet at night. The room was clean and confortable (just be aware there are some stairs as the hotel is in a beautifully renovated old building). Breakfast is served in a hotel right in front of the Aetoma and it was delicious, so much food we could not eat everything. We arrived by car and they sent us in advance useful indications on where to park. I wished we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely be back whenever we are in Napflion!

We stayed at Aetoma Guesthouse as we were travelling through Greece. They are centrally located in the old part of town close to most restaurants and shops and also 5 minutes from the waterfront. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed like family members! The room was very clean, air conditioned with a view of the square. The night was peaceful as there is no traffic in the square. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of different foods. The family host is very friendly, efficient with your specific needs and will give you a detailed and honest opinion about places and beaches to visit in the area. What else can one ask for ? I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful restored home turned into a hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking a square where we could sit at night for a drink and watch the city and castle walls begin to glow with lights as the night set in.

We had stunning views from our room and one of the largest balconies in Nafplio. The hotel was charming the owners clearly cared about the culture and maintaining the historical significance of that area The little square was perfect for both viewing and sitting in, and the location was fantastic. Parking was easier than than expected and even without a car you could walk anywhere from our hotel. The staff was amazing and solicitous. We were delighted how quiet it was in the evening unlike other hotels in the area. The laundry service was a real bargain and was a one-day service where everything came back and packable were very reasonable cost. The room was perfect as we were there for a week.

Probably not applicable for most people, but as we were traveling for months, we had a lot of clothes with us and I would have liked to have had more space for clothing specifically drawers.

Lovely location overlooking St. Spiridon Square in the old town with views of the Palamidi fortress. Everything we needed was in walking distance, and day trips with a car were easy. The owners, a mother and son. and staff were lovely, informative, and accommodating. We were in the more traditional building, which was beautiful and met all our needs. Breakfast was homemade, generous, and made to order and served in the sister hotel across the square with more contemporary flourishes. We would be happy to return to stay in either one.

The room we had was very big and charming with a nice balcony facing a little square. The room was equipped with a coffee machine and a small kettle, which we really appreciated. Everything was very clean. We already miss the view from the balcony at night and in the morning!

The only thing is the coffee and tea served in the breakfast room were very salty and difficult to drink.. maybe it could be prepared with mineral water? Otherwise everything was perfect and we highly recommend booking this charming hotel!

Outstanding location next to next to the historic church of St Spyridon in old town Nafplio. Exceptional room and service in a historical building with just four rooms. Despite the distinct historical feel of the place, everything is super-well maintained and clean. A LOT of attention to detail went from Akis and his mother, both very kind and helpful. The breakfast was incredible, and overall we felt pampered. Probably the best place we ever stayed.

Incredibly, there is nothing even slightly negative I could say about Aetoma.

The owner Panagiota and her son Akis plus Maria and Chris were extremely welcoming. Panagiota, herself served the breakfast of juice, coffee or tea, eggs as you like them with a bread basket, yogurt and fruit or cereal, and 4 pieces of cake! Akis and Chris couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions of restaurants and sights. We particularly made good use of the well designed map they give guests. This was the best hotel we stayed in Greece!
