The house has a unique, charming character. The room is exactly as is shown in photos here and the roof garden has a lovely view over town. The host was extremely responsive on the app, and accommodating/friendly. The location is good - it's easy to access parking and town, but it was still quiet for sleeping

Some basics (kettle/coffee cups/iron) would be useful in the room and the A/C unit on the roof garden is quite loud. Showing in the bathtub is a bit inconvenient, and it's not a no smoking facility - it smells quite a bit like smoke in the house.

A characterful building at the top of the old town, very quiet and tucked away but so close to lots of charming shops and restaurants. The bedroom was very comfortable and elegant with lovely bed linen and excellent air conditioning. It was a cool and peaceful haven after the bustle and heat of Nafplion in August.

The bathroom is rather tired and outdated and not up to the standard of the room. A little more communication would have been helpful about the key tag for the electrics and the coffee/tea bar arrangement. This was appreciated but we would prefer a kettle in the room to make our own. Anyone thinking of booking should note all the comments about steps and stairs. It is at the top of a long flight of stone steps from the old town which in the heat was very taxing and anyone with knee problems or fitness/mobility issues would really struggle!

Exceptional, vintage-style property with a friendly and courteous host. Although our stay was short, we deeply enjoyed the facilities and the beautiful and clean suite with the terrace, overlooking the captivating landscape of Argolis, as well as the historic and beautiful Nafplio, the first capital of the modern Greek State. This is a place we're definitely looking forward to revisiting - and we already know where to stay!

The views were spectacular of mountains, the sea and the town from 5 windows! Very spacious suite and super comfortable bed. Great character of old property and good location just a few streets above and away from main street and square. The host, Tellis, was lovely and very helpful.

It was all great. If we had to quibble, 'hot tub' wasn't quite what we expected but all was clean and modern.

This hotel is at a good location on top of a small hill by the edge of the old town of nafplio. Near the hotel there are public parking spaces, but the spots are quite limited. The room we stay has many windows facing the direction of the sea. But outside window there is a house block you view, you can only see the sea a bit when you stand at a specific point. The host of the property is very helpful when checking and solving our wifi issues.

We always come back to “il Palazzo” when visiting Nafplio. The place is excellently located in the middle of the old city near all restaurants, bars and shopping area. The rooms are spacious and well decorated and very well cleaned. The balcony is also offering nice views over the beautiful city of Nafplio.

Coming back year after year, I noticed that some renovation particularly of the bathrooms is required. A freshen up in general could benefit the rooms so that they maintain their unique features.

Parking can be a hassle but if you are lucky it can be found with the help of your host. Power point in room hanging out didn't inspire confidence in safety.

Great location, everything is walking distance. Stunning views from our terrasse of the Bourtzi and port. Highly recommend for couples!

Spa bath fits one person at a time. Not the property's fault, but if you are looking to take advantage of a "jacuzzi" this is not it (the term spa bath and jacuzzi were used in various places on the website which could be confusing if this is a criterion you are looking for).

Very nice staff. Excellent location. Silent. Spatious room.

Minor things. A room with a slightly better view, on the top floor, possibly? No light switch in the main reception area-dangerous when walking down the stairs and less than ideal for working in the afternoons. A better shower door, which does opens easier, and drips less.

The location is minutes from the excitement of Napflio. The stairs going up will be a challenge for anyone unsteady in their walking. The view was incredible overlooking the port and fortress. Clean room and very friendly host.

The bathtub jacuzzi was a bit of a splash zone. However with provided floor towel and drain in the center of the bathroom floor it was no problem
