Unique location by pretty, interesting harbour. Small village but with great tavernas, no music blasting out so peaceful but still busy. Great atmosphere. Our room was idyllic with a flower covered balcony overlooking the sea. This family run hotel is great and the owners and staff go out of their way to make your stay happy. Vrissi beach is 100m away and the waters are crystal clear with fresh water springs feeding in. Prepare to pay for a lounger - the very clean beach is managed by 2 ladies - but they provide parasols, shades and headrests.

Access by road or foot is tricky. Prepare to take ferries or hire a car if you want to go elsewhere.

Nice welcome with a complimentary drink and the staff took time to explain us some useful and logistical info. Central location (impossible to be more central) and view from the room. Tasty restaurant. Parking available (it is not a parking within the premises but the hotel gives you a voucher in order to use the public parking next to the hotel for free. However depending the moment the parking can be full).

No elevators. Door not soundproofed and too much noise can come from the corridor. Walk-in shower badly designed and the floor can be easily watered.

We stayed in the superior suite with sea view called “No Problem”. The room is beautifully designed, clean, and large, with a view of the harbor. Excellent location! Everything you need is within a short walking distance, including private parking, a beautiful beach (Vrissi), very good restaurants, a bakery, and more. We had a great time every minute of our stay

I recently stayed at No Problem Suite at Samariá by the Sea and had a wonderful experience overall. The modern suite was impressive with high aesthetic and provided a comfortable stay with all the amenities we needed. Very big suite with kitchen, bathroom, balcony, big bed in the heart of Sfakia .The hospitality was exceptional; the girl of the staff was friendly and attentive, even offering us coffee upon our arrival, which was a nice touch that made us feel welcome.

However, there were a couple of drawbacks. On the last day, we needed to store our luggage, and unfortunately, the storage area seemed unsecured. It was concerning that the luggage was kept in a place where everyone had access, and when we retrieved our bags, no one checked to confirm our identity. This could pose a potential security risk. Another issue we encountered was with the parking situation. The hotel provides a public parking card, but it didn’t work as expected, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Despite these issues, the overall stay was pleasant, and I would totally recommend No Problem Suite for its excellent room quality and hospitality, but I hope they address these concerns for future guests.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. Had amazing view of the harbor / beach area, just as depicted on line. Many food options on site or short stroll away. Access to ferries, buses and roadway nearby and an extremely picturesque locale. One of the best places I have ever vacationed.

Truly, truly nitpicking: no elevator on site so if mobility is an issue this hotel might not be for you.

The view!!! Despite the “town” being highly touristic (the hotel is an integrated part of a restaurant street - and that is basically the town), we still had a great time and praised ourselves lucky that we came at a time with less tourists. There seems to be a common agreement that music is not allowed - we highly appreciated that!! That means you can actually hear the sea and your thoughts (not a luxury you had in some of the other Cretan tourist towns we visited). I had really nice and very flexible treatment by the booking staff of the hotel: accommodating and service oriented.

The hotel staff (owner on site) were not very welcoming to say the least! We had no information about services, activities, breakfast - nothing. We were asked in a weird way to pay upfront (“we are probably busy when you leave”??) - nobody cared whether we were there or not - we were just paying customers. Very contrary to other - even larger - hotels in Crete, which are usually service oriented, care about their guests experience etc. That was not the case here

Beautiful location in the heart of Chora Skafion. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout and the waterfront dining options were great. All the staff were super helpful and we especially loved the reception dog, Simba. The bed was incredibly cozy. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival, and there were flowers on the bed and a towel arrangement in honor of our honeymoon, nice touch!

No fault of the hotel, but the town itself was a bit sleepy the beginning of May. While there was some parking available, it was a little far away and down a very narrow and steep alleyway.

Peaceful, romantic and cozy atmosphere despite the location being touristic - no music or other noise, just gentle waves lapping the shore at night 10 meters from our window. Top quality amenities, comfy bed, strong wi-fi, Could watch the sea, boat traffic and tourists from one of the 3 balconies in our room. At sunrise some people were doing morning yoga on the pier.

Could have some more channels on TV, even ERT was not available. But watching TV was the lowest priority.

Great hotel in a very peacful small village. We stayed in a very large room that was behind the actual hotel, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Staff was great. Everything closeby- small supermarket, bakery, tavernas. I highly recomand!

Nothing that I think of. We were there for 4 nights, and no complains. Maybe worth to know that the nearest beach which is walking distance is very small and not attractive, most beautiful nearby beaches are by car or boat. Didnt bother us.

The owners and staff were all so friendly and helpful, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. They helped carry our heavy suitcase upstairs. The cleaner was really friendly and helpful. It is family operated and I enjoyed seeing the children play.

Parking was a matter of luck, but we found a spot and got a note for the windshield to verify that we were guests at the hotel.
