We loved the welcome from Nikki and Giannis, they are perfect hosts. The rooms are stunning, very comfortable, lovely beds. We were very impressed with the daily housekeeping, returning to a lovely fresh smelling room thanks to Theas hard work. The garden is a lovely haven, incredibly quiet and relaxing to sit out for breakfast or drinks in the evening. The location is perfect, with a fantastic bakery and wonderful restaurants a stones throw away. We had two rooms as a family of four, our daughters also felt the exact same way. We all look forward to returning again in the future.

The room was very comfortable with a sunny private balcony and clean modern bathroom. The room also included thoughtful extra touches such as dressing gowns, slippers, local wine and daily cleaning. The property also has a gorgeous private garden and excellent WiFi throughout (perfect for remote working). The property is centrally located in Sfakia, with a beach, a good coffee shop, mini market and excellent taverna within a minutes walk. The owners, Giannis and Niki, were very friendly, kind and helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat if ever in Sfakia again!

A lot of love has gone into this very special boutique hotel with many nice touches. The welcome was warm and friendly and the room was well appointed with a selection of drinks and snacks. Communications prior to arrival were really well managed and very prompt. There is a beautiful secluded garden with an imposing gable end wall which is all that remains of the original early 20th Century building and there is a lot of information about the history of the site. Breakfast in the garden was a real pleasure and the time spent on making my departure memorable was unbelievable. I am a highly experienced traveller but this stands out as absolutely one to remember, I would certainly be very happy to stay here again and I can recommend it to anyone who is visiting this village.

We have just returned from a fantastic two night stay at Sofia’s Lovely Rooms. Our room was beautiful. It was spacious, well-equipped and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. We also loved the secret garden where we spent time having a drink and relaxing. The property is in a great location, near to the bus stop and car park and only a few steps from the front. Getting a ferry to Loutro from here was really easy. Giannis and Nikki were brilliant, friendly hosts. We’d definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The stay was an experience more than just a place to stay. Absolute perfection! We felt part of the community and like we were the only guests. The room itself had everything we needed, a balcony overlooking the sea, and the lovely private courtyard was a wonderful surprise. They provide a parking pass and are easily available and welcoming with any questions or suggestions. There is a mini market and a superb bakery just down the street. As Giannis predicted we were sad to leave...but hopefully will be back.

Wonderful stay! I've enjoyed everything. The room is modern and renovated, with fresh look and atmosphere. The bed is big and very confortable, pillows as well. They providing soft towels, bathrobes, slippers, doing everyday cleaning - services usually you expecting from the hotel, but they do it for rooms/apartments too. They providing free parking as well. Nice, friendly and very welcoming host. Very central location. Also they have a nice, cozy and quiet garden, where you can sit and relax. I'll stay here again when I came back to Sfakia

If you are traveling to Crete, look no further than Giannis and Nikki. The bed is beyond comfortable, the room is immaculately clean, the peaceful garden to unwind and feel that Greek chill, the pebble throw away from all the restaurants, a supermarket next door, and a couple which is extremely welcoming. They made it feel like you should move to Crete and call it your home. The garden they have created has so much love, and it shows. It beats any 5-star hotel! This place offers a unique and authentic experience that is hard to find elsewhere. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the location is perfect—close to beautiful beaches and local attractions.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about this property. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. If we had to mention something, it would be that our stay was too short! We didn’t want to leave and would have loved to spend more time enjoying the hospitality and beautiful surroundings!

Sfakion is a really special place to spend some time (beaches, hiking, excursions, etc), and Sofia’s is a great place to do so in Sfakion. The hosts are so thoughtful and caring—their attention and expertise really show. We loved our stay at Sofia’s in Sfakion.

From the moment we arrived the hotel owner was incredibly welcoming showing us the secret garden, providing good local walking advice and helping us with a secure place for our bike. Everything about the hotel was good including the local info, stunning mural, the French press and ground coffee in the room and its comfort. The location is ideal and there is everything you need for a fantastic stay in Sfakion. Thank you so much.

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we had to come back. These are great rooms right in the centre of Chora Sfakion and right next to a lovely bakery for breakfasts. Giannis and Niki are wonderful hosts who make you feel really welcome. They have a lovely garden at the back where you can sit in peace in the shade and if you go out the front door you're 30 seconds from the harbour and the shops and restaurants. No distance from the ferry port. Such a beautiful place to stay - you never want to leave.
