An absolute wonderful stay at Ammos Suites, beautiful modern and elegant decor. Fantastic staff, all so lovely and receptive, especially the Filo , in fevt they all were so accommodating, nothing too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Possibly the coffee machine could have been a little stronger in the breakfast area / however there is a coffee machine located in your room which made up for it with fantastic espresso’s

Very nice location, stuff and it’s close to the beach which is not crowded (we went there in September). The room was spacious with a confortabile bed. Close to the hotel, you will find very nice restaurants: Nostos, Lissus We arrived late in the night and they let us the keys in a locker, much appreciated!

Regarding the breakfast, we would appreciate a better taste coffee and more diverse menu. Also, they don’t have private parking slots, but we were able to find a spot in the street. These points are just some improvements, we were very satisfied about their services. Definitely a 10!

The location was outstanding with a clear and easy walk into old town and located right across the street from the main beach with the hotel having their own daybeds (free if you bought a drink)! The staff was so helpful and they even celebrated my friends birthday, a surprise to both of us! We also really enjoyed the breakfast to include fresh squeezed orange and wonderful local honey and marmalade! We have a two bedroom suite with jacuzzi and it was amazing to sit out on the daybeds, listening to the waves and sipping the complementary wine provided by the hotel. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and thank you to the staff at Ammos for being a large part of our successful trip to Crete!

Location was really first class. Breakfast was included in our stay which we really enjoyed. Receptionist, bar staff, cleaner were so helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. We had a late check in and the receptionist waited for us to arrive. We got a lovely welcome and she showed us to our apartments. Fresh Towels were provided for beach, pool every day. Sunloungers on beach were free and the Ammos Suites had an area on the beach available to us.

Our stay was just amazing. The service was exceptional, everyone was polite and genuinely kind and nice, with big smile on their faces every day. We stayed in family room and it was spacious, very clean and the decoration and the set up was just perfect, we really felt like at home. Shower was great and bed was comfortable. The location was just perfect as it was on the beach with beautiful sea view from our room and 15 minutes walk to the old town. Some of the nights we just stayed close to the hotel and there were many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Breakfast was nice, always fresh fruits available and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. The hotel beach is small and sometimes it gets crowded but we would always ask the person in charge of the beach to keep sun-beds for us and he was really super nice and making sure we were very comfortable. Minimum order at the beach was not a problem for us because they had a nice selection of drinks, fresh juices, and the best coffee. We highly recommend Ammos Suits to everyone who is looking to stay at the best place in Rethymno.

We wish they had more snack options at the beach, like salads, especially Greek salad as that was my biggest craving.

The property design is so beautiful! The host and the staff were so nice and helpful! Location is the best too, beach is great! Also amazing breakfast. So much attention to small details. We loved it!

Our room wasn’t cleaned very good, especially the glasses, like porch glass and shower glass. The bathroom and shower wasn’t cleaned very good. I used to work as cleaning lady and with that I would be fired. Also the sheet was with few brown spots….The other day they changed the sheets so it was ok.

Perfect location, just in front of the sandy beach and 15 min walking distance from the beautiful old town. The hotel has own sunbends free for the guest after ordering some drinks, coffee or snacks from the bar, beach service is also available. The breakfast was various, sweets and salty dishes, local cheese, orange juice, etc. The staff was very friendly, prepared us breakfast packs when we left early morning to an excursion tour. The pool was also nice and a good place if you want to hide in the shadows from the extremely hot weater. Room was not big, but enough for 2 person, clean, pair of towels for the beach as well and were changed every day.

The neighborhoor was a little bit noisy, especially the glass selective containers, which were cleaned out every night/dawn.

Lovely room, staff very friendly, nice having the 10% discount in the bar for residents - the cocktails were lovely. Some lovely restaurants for lunch nearby and walkable into the old town in 15/20 mins for dinner.

Only little niggles. There was a glass panel across the toilet door that was not very private. Breakfast was OK but not notable. I would definitely consider staying again though.

We loved the location of this hotel, right in front of the beach and walking distance to the town centre (approx. 20min). Since it was always warm we aimed to walk back to the hotel after dinner every night by the sea. It was lovely! Personnel at the hotel are extremely helpful and very nice! We were really satisfied with the service provided. The room was also great, clean and comfortable with view to the sea. As guests of the hotel, we could use the beds and umbrella at the beach as long as we bought a drink or food from the bar downstairs which was not a problem as we were always buying cocktails/water so this worked nicely. We highly recommend anyone going to Rethymos staying at this hotel! We had a great time and look forward to return!

Don’t miss out on this place We had such a great time at Ammos Suites! The room was bright and spacious enough for two. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and sipping the complementary wine that waited for us in there, watching the sunset and just relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The pool seemed great (quite small) but to be honest, the beach was so close, so well-kept and pampering – that we didn’t even get to try it! Breakfast was modest but tasty, and we were so grateful that the staff were attentive to the fact that we are both vegans (we were offered vegan cheese, a spinach pastry and sauteed mushrooms). Filios and Irene, at the front desk, were very kind and helpful. Would go back to Ammos Suites; highly recommend it.

Minor issues, really... The mattress was quite soft; the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.
