We’ve now stayed at Swell Boutique Hotel three times, and each visit has been a truly wonderful experience. As a small hotel, it offers a sense of personal touch and comfort that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff—and the owner—are very friendly, always welcoming and eager to assist with any request. Their warmth and hospitality make you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive. The rooms are impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Mornings start with a delicious Greek breakfast, offering a wide variety of fresh choices—including excellent fresh orange juice. With its beautiful views of the beach and great location (plus own parking) Swell Boutique Hotel combines convenience with tranquility. We’ve returned several times already and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Highly recommended.

I dont know where to start. These guys were just amazing. First of all, we arrived early, and got the rooms right away. With a kid, this is just what we needed. Then, hotel greeted us with sone refreshments and snacks, not a big deal, but very nice gesture! We liked it since we cane from Chania airport, the weather was hot and we spent about a hour in the taxi. Reception - I mean the kindest personnel ever, solving all the issues right away and helping on every step of the way. Rooms - spacious, very nice, huge balconies. We had one and two bedroom apartments, both were really nice. The room arrangement were provably one of the best in such hotels we have visited. All very clean, with good air conditioning, nice towels and toiletries. You also get beach towels from hotel to use in the public beach in front of the hotel. The bar was nice, they serve wonderful fredo espresso. On top of everything, u get a nice breakfast overlooking the see, it is not very rich, but it was more than we needed, with meat, cheese, egg varieties, fresh veggies and fruits, pastries, etc. We loved everything and every second in this hotel. I believe it is even underrated!

I would put more chairs and comfy sofas in the balcony since there is space and it would be just perfect. Would recommend to renew coffee/tea in the room every day, it is not a big deal, but it is nice when u get up in the morning and u can make your own coffee and enjoy in the balcony.

We were given a different room to what we booked. The room was superb as it was an upgrade but the room we had booked had sea view from the room which is what we wanted. The room we were given only had view from the balcony. Our taxi back to the airport was 8pm, we had to check out of room at 2pm. When we asked if we could have a room until 7.30 we were to,d it would cost €80 which we thought was way overpriced

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Beginning with the most welcoming check in procedure (thank you Yannis!) over the huge bed with two differently firm pillows to choose from right through to breakfast where we got freshly squeezed orange juice served at the table as a surprise. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and had the most amazing view of the sea. The hotel's location is very convenient as it is directly at the beach. Multiple supermarkets and other shops are in the direct vicinity.

If I must find something I didn't like: there was no parking spot for us when we arrived but I found one just around the corner. The coffee at breakfast tasted a little thin. Other than that everything was just wonderful.

I spent a very nice vacation at Swell Boutique. The hotel has a very good position, on the first line to the beach, you can hear the sea from the room. It is located very close to the old center. It is very clean, we thank the ladies Ofelia and Stefania for this. The breakfast is very rich and diversified with very good quality products. A plus is the freshly squeezed orange juice served at breakfast. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. We thank them for the beautiful and quiet vacation we spent in this hotel.

We were told it would be seaside view, it was partial. A bit hard pillows.

It’s a relatively long walk (about 20 minutes) from the main area, although there are also plenty of places to go out nearby.

The hotel was clean, with modern decor. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and really helpful. The hotel is in a great location, a 15 min walk to Rethynmo old town, opposite the beach and with plenty of bars and restaurants within steps of the entrance. There was lots of parking around, although it was a bit of a fight to find a spot sometimes. Overall a great hotel, would recommend

We got a free upgrade to a suite from a deluxe room and it was amazing: the amount of space oferred at no extra cost, the sea views every night and every moment of the day, having all the amenities. - Also, great food for breakfast as well as for dinner at night, so well coocked and nicely served to us. drinks were not included, but it was worth it.

Great hotel in front of the beach.Perfect position to walk to the old center of Rethymno. All the staff was exceptional from the reception to the restaurant, very professional and kind always with a smile. The food very good and the room with the sea view was lovely. We had a great time.Thank you
