Location in the old town was great. Just what I wanted. The hotel was individual and had character. The roof terrace was a nice feature.

Being woken by loud banging from 8.30 am. The noise was hammering of some sort coming from their coffee shop directly below my room. It continued for at least half an hour. I had had a late night out and wanted a lie in. It woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. When I mentioned it to staff at check out, the girl simply said an embarrassed, muttered "Sorry" with no explanation. Probably a one-off incident, but they should put their guest's comfort first.

Amazing place. So beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Rooftop is lovely. There is no elevator so it is not for anyone who cannot take stairs. Location could not be more perfect.

Because it is in the heart of Old Town, you cannot drive up to the property with your bags, so you should travel lightly.Free Parking is not easy to find, so you will likely have to pay. This is not any reflection against the property. It's just an inconvenience that should be expected to be in that location.

Check in was a breeze. Location was pretty central to the city and all we needed for a one night stay. Owner was lovely to deal with checking in and the next morning for breakfast on the roof top.

The only thing we noticed, is the roof top has no lighting at night. We purchased a couple of drinks from a kiosk to take back to the rooftop area to enjoy the view prior to turning in for the evening. There were no small lights or anything to navigate the area. Once your eyes adjusted it was okay, just would have been nice to have small table lights or something.

Fabulous building, loved the age of it and the roof terrace was just fantastic. We used it every afternoon and evening and it made our holiday perfect. The hosts are such lovely people and do everything possible to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We are more than happy to recommend this hotel and will definitely be booking for a return visit next year.

The hotel occupies a beautiful old building, and the rooftop terrace does offer a panoramic view of the town - perfect for sunrise, sunset, or any time. The room's adequate in size, though the shower is very small. There were 2 long flights of stairs between reception and our room, but the host insisted on carrying our bags.

As a very old, renovated building, one should not expect the amenities to be quite up to contemporary standards. However, it is charming and part of the local experience.

The building itself was absolutely gorgeous. From the welcome we were made to feel special. It was our honeymoon. And the hotel owners made us feel super special. Catering to our every need and want. The rooms were beautiful. Really clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was served on the roof too terrace with breath taking views. The breakfast itself was gorgeous, fruit, toasted sandwiches and the best yoghurt and honey I’ve ever tasted. Whirl tub bath was romantic with candles and bubbles provided. Beds were super comfy. Location was superb. Right in the middle of the old town. A two minute walk from the door. Couldn’t have asked for more

Beautiful building. Has retained the character of Old, while feeling modern. The bedroom was a good size, and the bath/jacuzzi/wet room was a wondrous addition. Location was ideal, only a short stroll from the Fortress, and handy for all that Old Town has to offer. The cocktails were delightful, and the host is superb. Will most likely return next year.

The single room was pretty comfortable. Good bed, good shower and unmatched location, those are my priorities and they were all met. Breakfast is nice.

Soundproofing is not the best and it seems to be the same around Crete. You can hear the street or other guests. Not a big deal if you are not sensitive to noise like me. Still i slept perfectly fine.

We stayed there for one noght on our trip through Crete. The rooftop and its beautiful view across Rethymno. The location is at the entrance of the old town. The personel is very generous and adviced us in advance where to park in the labyrinth of one way streets and gave us all the Information we needed. We can recommend the place for a stay in Rethymno.

Location is very central and there are many restaurants or little shops nearby. The beds were comfortable and the staff very kind and accomodating. We could leave our bags at reception on check-out day.

The room was smaller than expected and the "jaccuzi" is basically a bathtub with massage in a tiny bathroom. Breakfast is very pricey, it's better to go out to a restaurant. The AC blows cold air straight onto the bed, so it's impossible to have it on through the night.
