Great location, great and very helpful staff, very good breakfast, nice ancient yard, nice public areas, nice size of the room, but...

The room itself was really dated and austere, with no charm or a feel of comfort whatsoever. It was poorly lit, with old and only partially functioning equipment. Helena from reception did her best to assist and brought some more lamps, and took care of the malfunctioning equipment, but this, of course, couldn't help with the austerity of the room. Pitty. This place could be really wonderful if some updating would be done.

The breakfast was outstanding for the price. The location was right in the heart of the Old Town, and the staff were brilliant and helpful (particularly Elena). The decor was stunning. It was a joy to stay there.

There was some light pollution in our room because there were windows without blinds or shutters. So, the sunlight came streaming into the bedroom in the morning. Also, the shower drain would fill back to the bathroom drain and flood the floor if we showered for too long. Which was a shame as the shower itself was fantastic. Minor details as the hotel is wonderful.

This was my favorite room in ALL of Greece! Not only that but my very favorite staff. Anastasia truly is an angel!!! I’ve never had such a wonderful hostess in all my travels. She took care of every need I could imagine… best restaurant in town… even Including helping my dad with his backpack after our stay. Her kindness and attention to detail is unsurpassed! Manos and Rafael made sure I had a wonderful dinner the second night. I wish I could have stayed longer but fully booked. Don’t miss this gem!

This place is insanely great. The room in which we where was incredible. Very well decorated with an ancient meet modern vibes. It exceeded our expectation. The restaurant looked really great but unfortunately we didn't try the food because our stay coincided with when it was close. It really is an exceptional place right in the old town. Great and welcoming staff as well. Do not hesitate.

Absolutely nothing.

Set in the old town this hotel is the perfect location for wandering the lanes. With so many great restaurants to choose from and beautiful boutique shops, it’s perfect for those that want to stay in the heart of Rethymon.

There’s nothing not to like however, if you not very mobile I would check that it’s possible to have a room on a low floor as there is no lift.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the beautiful old building had vintage decorations. The room was spacious with a special atmosphere, and every request was efficiently responded to. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was already cool when we arrived. Additionally, the breakfast was very good. We traveled by car and parked at the Vanacian Harbour parking, which is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The parking fee was approximately 10 euros per night.

the hotel is delightful and so is the staff..the rooms are large and very nicely decorated restaurant was not open yet but the dining room is magical lucky people who go to rethymno in may after they open! the location is a ten can't say enough about the hotel

A very beautiful hotel in a perfect, prime location. The room was lovely and we were given a private terrace which was so pretty. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and our room was always cleaned to a very good standard.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not good. It meant that we had to go out to eat every morning at extra expense. The food was cold and there was almost no range of choice.

Beautiful old venetian building in a great location. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the service is great. Feels like a family business.

We had some WiFi issues during the entire stay, that couldn't be fixed. Also the fridge in the room was very noisy unfortunately.

Location is super convenient, surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants . The hotel is really nice, love architecture! The staff is awesome, especially Eleanor! She told us many great places to visit! Thank you for being so sweet!

Bed was not too comfortable and no elevator, but it’s standard in this part of town.
