1)location is right in the heart of "old city" {couldn't be better ... note that I used public transportation throughout Crete and this apartment local was almost 20 min. walk = not difficult. Plus I used this local as home base with getting around the island; especially buses to the Southside of Crete = work out well 2) the facilities person Iro was extremely helpful and communicative {terrific person!} 3} this establishment will exceed your expectations = quite, accommodating, and, in my humble opinion = beautiful

The location is excellent--in the old town but on a quiet side street. The place itself is charming and built in a traditional style. The room was comfortable and attractive, particularly the bed, and the bathroom was very nice, with a roomy shower. Iro is a very kind and attentive hostess who is eager to help you with anything you might need.

It was not possible to use the toaster or the kettle in the kitchen area because there was no electric socket there, so you had to move these appliances to different locations in the room. Also, if you like to get a lot of natural light, ask for a room on the upper floor; the rooms on the lower floor are quite dark. There is no balcony or place to dry your clothes if you wash them.

Location in the very center o the historical district and 200 meters from the Venetian port is a great asset. The room was large and I liked the traditional décor that although renovated does not look fake (pictures are faithful). The small courtyard where different rooms face is extremely nice. I appreciated having a kettle and a coffee machine in the room.

The lightning system in the room is difficult to handle and the curtain on the window is kind of transparent, so you do not have enough privacy and protection from the external light.

Fantastic location - right in old town but on a nice quiet street. Lovely well-kept courtyard area and the room was very clean. Very close to restaurants and sights in the old town and a short walk to the beach. Communication from the host was great - made sure we were enjoying our stay and was quick to respond to questions. Nice little balcony with table and chairs for an evening drink. The air con was effective! Useful additions to room such as the iron and ironing board.

Could occasionally hear other guests leaving early in the morning through the door but generally a quiet place to stay. No real issues though - would recommend and would stay again!

This studio was perfect for our stay in Rethymno – right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance to everything. The location couldn’t be better if you want to explore the charming streets, local shops, and restaurants. The studio itself was excellently decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting on the cute balcony in the evenings. The building is a beautiful, traditional house, adding to the overall charm of the place. The host was very helpful and quick to respond, making our stay easy and enjoyable.

There’s really nothing we didn’t like, though it could be nice to have a few more kitchen tools if you plan on cooking simple meals.

Iro is one of the kindest hosts I've ever stayed with. Nothing was too much trouble. The studios are in a great location with nearby free parking and a perfect spot to watch the sunset at the end of the street! The little secret gardens in the property made for some very relaxing morning coffee and chats with other travellers. Highly recommended!

The studios are clean but fairly basic, shower was a little cramped. Also would have liked some towels inside the bathroom. I realised too late and had to climb the steps up to my bed whilst soaking wet!

Absolutely fantastic, in the middle of the old town, just minutes away of all the hustle and bustle, in a very quiet alley. The house is very, very lovely, the roof top has a nice view on the old town and surroundings, the room was very, very lovely. One feels at home as soon as you enter through the main door. Explanations sent upfront were very detailed, clear, nothing missing to find the place without hesitation. In the room you get a little bookled with addtional information and some nice inside from Iro.

Traditional town house in the heart of the beautiful old town. Easy check in. Host very friendly and welcoming. Apartment very spacious with quaint balcony overlooking the garden and a distance view of the sea. Nice roof terrace overlooking the Fort, perfect for an evening drink. Garden looked nice but didn’t use it. Easy access to all amenities but tucked away down a quiet street.

Nothing to effect our stay, not for people with mobility issues though as our apartment was on the second floor with no lift and the sleeping area is accessible via quite a steep open tread stairway.

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in on holiday. Even before we arrived from the very beginning the communication with Iro, the owner, was wonderful, friendly and helpful. It was easy to arrange arrival, and she helped book a taxi to pick us up at the airport. The building is an old family home, with a beautiful courtyard as you enter, and then a kind of rabbit warren of rooms, with shady courtyards and a roof terrace with a great view. We stayed in an apartment which was a great size, large living area, good sized bedroom with lots of storage space, well-stocked kitchen area and a largish bathroom, with a washing machine. Outside we had a terrace we could sit on, which was in the shade early morning and then from late afternoon onwards. The air-conditioning was good. Iro was a wonderful host, very helpful and welcoming, and with a lovely dog for good measure! The lady who did the cleaning was also really nice and friendly, and did a brilliant job. The place is very central, a minute or two into the streets of the old town, near the Venetian harbour, just under a kilometre and a half to the beach.

We loved it all - only sad that we couldn't stay longer.

The location of the room was excellent, close to a car park where we left the car and near to the restaurants and bars without there being any noise at night. The studio itself was very stylish in decor with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The facilities in the room were sufficient to make a simple breakfast and hot drinks and there were lots of nice areas to sit and eat outside the room. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and provided us with a very detailed map of the old town with suggestions for places to eat and drink.
