Great location and easy access to the free parking facility below the fortress. Andreas the owner almost always available to help.

It would be great with a paying washing-machine downstairs The owner lent me a parasol for the balcony but it would be a good idea to have dark ones installed on all of them as it already gets extremely warm and bright from early in the morning and it’s impossible to sit outside without one. Easy room service should be available. The next door restaurant serves incredibly delicious home-made dishes which could be enjoyed from the coolness of one’s bedroom when too tired to go out. The owner could easily arrange a deal with Rinio’s Tavern for ‘take-away’ without having to worry about any costly logistics.

The location is amazing! You’re in the heart of the old town and in 10 mins walk from the bus station, from where you can easily reach different beaches. Our terrace was very big and shady, which makes it very comfortable to stay there and enjoy the morning coffee. You have everything you need in the room and it’s really clean! The shower is a bit small, but you can get used to it. In summary we’re very happy with our stay and would stay there again if we’re in Rethymno

Very spacious room with a big garden and a small patio for your room to have a coffee or breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The host was very kind and pleasant. The location is great 15 minutes from the main beach and 2 minures from the old town with tavernas. Even though it is close to the old town it is not noisy in the room and you can sleep peacefully on a very large and comfortable bed.

The location was ideal. Close to the old town Rethymno for fantastic atmosphere and restaurants, close to the Fort and Harbour - and yet very quiet at night. I slept so well in a very comfortable bed with good quality linen and pillows. Andreas was always available at reception to answer questions and help with taxi contacts. My own balcony was a bonus where I could enjoy the afternoon sun. Good shower with hot water. Very clean. Having a kitchen with fridge was fantastic with supermarket only 3 minutes walk away. I plan to return soon!

The location was great, easy access to the old town but quiet at night time. The room was very comfortable and clean, we had everything we needed and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. It is walkable from the bus station if you have a small amount of luggage. We would have no hesitation in staying again in the future.

Set on a very quiet side street almost at the base of the fort, this was a perfect location. The studio I had (no 7?) was on the entrance floor with a lovely little balcony towards the back of the building. A tiny little garden was just outside so it was lovely to sit there. No building on the opposite side that could look in to my studio. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in bathroom. Friendly person in the reception.

The equipment in the studio was very poor. Not even the a breadknife or a spatula so difficult to cook. Even to do scramble in the morning. Cleaning was next to nothing.

Warm welcome by the very kind owner of the hotel. The room was very good and spacious enough. I enjoyed the excellent location of the hotel, which is in the very centre of the town, few meters from the castle. Within few meters walking, one can find the beautifully coloured streets of the town, as well as many restaurants and bars.

Very comfortable studio in a very central location, but quiet at nights. Lovely spacious balcony and fully equipped kitchen facilities. The host is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying here again soon.

Adding a laundry service (or a washing machine) would be a bonus.

Maybe a little more in the way of plates, dishes etc as we like to occasionally eat in our room but no real problem

A wonderful location in the old town near the Fortezza and the old Venetian harbour, near a little supermarket, and lots of interesting shops and cafe's . Rethymno is a lovely town. The room itself had a balcony, a lovely view and tables and chairs to sit out. Thoughtful touch was a rug on each bed.

The shower room was a bit small, so water spilt into the bedroom. However is was a tiled floor and we had room service every day. An extra shower mat would be good.
