The apartment exceeded our expectations - it looked great in the photos but it’s even better once you get there. The views from the balcony are lovely and the apartment itself is well decorated and well equipt. Our host, Nick was really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, lovely shops and restaurants nearby. We spent quite a bit of time on Rethymno beach which was beautiful. Sandy beach with crystal blue water and even a beach bar. Lots of sun beds available - we did visit in September though so I’m not sure if this would still be the case during school holiday season. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

The single snag was that the flush on the toilet in the downstairs bathroom would occasionally stick but you only have to flush it a few times and it sorts itself out.

Amazing location and beautiful view. The balcony is amazing for people watching or relaxing with a drink in the evening. The room is modern and light, gets the morning sun. You feel like you’re right in the centre of the old town and within walking distance of hundreds of amazing restaurants. Nick was great at answering any questions and helping to assist with late check out/storing our bags. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay a few days in Rethymno old town.

Only tiny thing that was missing was some sort of towel rail or hook to hang up the large bath towels!

Beautiful apartment right on the water within the old city pedestrian zone, close to old city attractions and vibrant restaurant scene. View was superb, energy of restaurants just below was palpable. Immaculately clean, with a large soaking tub upstairs next to a king bed, and two well appointed bathrooms with nice showers, and full kitchen, which we did not use.

We had a rental car and parking is not provided, but we were able to drop bags at door and found public parking one block north at the waterfront lot with a very reasonable daily rate.

This is a lovely spacious home incredibly located on the Venetian Harbor in the heart of old town. The conveniences of being able to wash clothes and cook for ourselves made the place even homier. The host, Nikos was helpful and friendly and close by if needed. The upstairs downstairs design gave ample space for relaxation.

The place was perfect though we were given only one key for the apartment which made it challenging when one of us wanted to leave because the key also controls the electricity in the apartment.

A well-located apartment with a huge selection of restaurants and shops just a few steps away. An ideal starting point for excursions. The terrace and the wonderful view compensate for the minor shortcomings.

I would have liked to use a drying rack and an ironing board. It is annoying that the window next to the upstairs bathroom is not shaded. Despite this, I enjoyed my time here.

The location is perfect at walking distance from the old town and the beach. It's very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. It's also a big room, so good value for money.

We had the room without Harbour view. It can be quite noisy at night, especially in the weekend. It's accessible via a steep stair, so difficult for people with limited mobility.

Wonderful position overlooking old port. Very comfortable apartment that was light and airy with tasteful modern facilities in unique old property. Nick was a gracious host and very approachable.

Perhaps some beach towels would be a bonus, but not essential and we bought some local inexpensive traditional towels for our morning swim - so we had a souvenir to take home!

Location location location. The balcony was incredible. Overlooking the harbour and the restaurants. Amazing amenities. Awesome to have a full kitchen and washing machine. Huge apartment, so much space.

The balcony could do with a clean due to bird mess on it each day. The bath did not work properly. The downstairs bathroom did smell.

The position is fantastic with a balcony looking out over the Venetian harbour. Large-ish apartment with kitchenette (looked well supplied but didn't use). Steps up to Double bed and shower room, plus large bath in the sleeping area. Sofabed below, plus second shower room. Hot water good. Wifi good. Parking available close by in the port car park, which you have to pay for - for us it was about 12 euros for about 18 hours - but better than a long trundle with suitcases.

Once inside the main entrance, there are 23 steep steps up, which could be challenging if you had a heavy suitcase.

Cute apartment with balcony overlooking the port. Had everything we needed for a short stay.

We didn’t love having the bedroom upstairs. It wasn’t a negative for the apartment, but we probably wouldn’t book a unit like that again. We were afraid of falling down the stairs in the night if we took a wrong turn.
