We had a wonderful 9 days at the Caldera View. The hotel has the most beautiful views of the famous Santorini sunset. The staff are exceptional. Panos and his team work so hard and are always friendly and happy and go out of their way to help with any requests. Our room was perfect and spotlessly clean, and tended to daily - fresh towels every day. The view from our balcony was unreal. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with a good variety. The restaurant (situated across the road) was lovely - the view from here is unmatched. Food was lovely too. The pool is fabulous - probably the best we've stayed at - very quiet - large and good depth. Throughout or stay we had no issues with sunbeds and could have moved at any point during the day without issue. Wi-Fi in the hotel was upgraded during our stay which was great. We also had aircon in our room with no extra charge - never know this before in any other places we have stayed in Greece....it was much appreciated!! Thank you Panos, Victoria, Tasos, Shota, Lika and all of the other staff for making our stay so memorable. (Apologies for any incorrect spellings and for missing anyone out!!)

Panos and his staff were exceptionally welcoming to my partner and I. Nothing was no trouble for them. Told us all about what we could do on the island and about the complex. Made our holiday very special. Complex has a gorgeous pretty pool with sea views. Breakfast has a good Greek hot and cold buffet variety to set you up for the day from 8am to 10am. The complex is quiet to sleep and relax with a cool breeze off the sea. Rooms are beautifully cleaned each day and smelt inviting after being out for the day. Rooms are air conditioned with fridge, tv, clean towels each day. Restaurant across the road has the most amazing memorable sunsets each night. Definitely recommend to visit this resort as its value for money on Santorini with the location and facilities it has to offer, typically Greek which is lovely!

The sunset restaurant across the road is owned by the same family which is lovely. The prices of the drinks and food are slightly over priced so you pay for the sunset views whilst there. We found lots of other restaurants very competitive and better quality than there. Also need a better choice of drinks and menu. It was ok not wow!

We had an excellent time here, the staff are lovely, very helpful and always happy to hear from you & wish you a good day. I think we must've had a less busy week as the place felt empty! Lots of sun loungers free :) The breakfast was very nice. The location is ok, great for being away from the crowds but a bus stop right outside the hotel to go places. We took the bus to Perissa beach, Akrotori, Fira & Oia - the buses are not always on time but they work well for 2 euros! We ate at the bar a couple of times, basic menu but well cooked, and the restaurant over the road with the fabulous views. We would definitely stay again, a great place to chill but easy to get to the popular areas.

We stayed at Caldera View Resort for 1 night because we needed to change flights. Even though we arrived later after the Reception working hours they were kind enough to leave a map for us and our room key. Room was clean and comfy and the breakfast the next morning more than a Continental buffet as advertised which was nice. Would prefer 1 or 2 more kind of cereal though. Overall great night. Nothihg more to expect from a Hotel especialy a 3 Stars one. Recommended

the location was perfect, on a quiet road with easy access to the Minoan excavation site, which was the focus of our visit. lovely quiet pool and bar. friendly and helpful staff. comfortable bed.

the breakfast rolls, which were dry and defrosted. we missed delicious fresh Greek bread. guests are asked not to hang towels and swimming costumes in the rooms, so a nice little wall mounted drier on the wall outside ,as is usual in Greece, would have been better than draping wet towels and swimming things over the chairs.

Peaceful hotel with gorgeous swimming pool, just across the highway from wonderful sunset views. Comfortably furnished for this pricepoint, and handily located for the that runs between Akrotiri and Fira (which is much better value than the island's taxis!). Friendly, helpful staff and a very decent breakfast.

Cocktails at the bar were not good value, even by Santorini standards.

It was amazing, the workers were so friendly and accommodating, they arrange driving transportation to and from the airport AND the port for when we wanted to take the ferry to Paros. Free water is given at reception, breakfast is included, wifi speed was tremendous. The sunset spot was amazing!!!! I know everyone goes to Oia for sunset, but if you want something more private and intimate, Caldera is 100% the place to be. It was stunning, emotional, and truly breath taking. The only downside is that it is not in the city centre of Santorini (not a problem) , the bus stop is right outside the hotel and the bus comes every half hour and takes you to Fira for less than 2 euros. AMAZING stay and staff!!

Amazing accommodation in Santorini - the perfect place for the sunset. We were grateful for the peaceful, beautiful pool with a full service bar and food. The rooms are fantastic with huge renovated bathrooms and high ceilings. The friendly, helpful staff go above and beyond: the rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. Breakfast was included and had very good options of fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, juice and coffee. The owners arranged our tours and made calls for me to Canada. First class accommodation and service.

We had to spend one more night in Santorini so we booked at caldera view. We were upgraded to a better room type without any charge and even though we arrived early we were checked in. I guess because it's not high season. Room was nice and clean. Reception staff was extremely helpful and arranged everything for us. Recommended
