It was a great location, beautiful view of sunsets every night. Not a long walk into town. When our air conditioning broke and found it couldn't be fixed they did give us an upgraded room and comped our transportation back to airport when we left. Staff was courteous and helpful. We would stay there again.

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to put order in for breakfast and specify time we would be there the night before. We didn't really like having to be on schedule to get up for breakfast. Our air conditioning went out (which was not their fault per se) However, it took 2 days for someone to come to look at it and report it could not be fixed. They would not move us until they knew it couldn't be fixed.

Location was perfect for us as it is located in a quiet area but very close to Oia old town (5min walk) so you can have the best of both worlds. Breakfast is served in the restaurant which has stunning views to the caldera. I would recommend having dinner there as well, the food was amazing and so was the sunset. The reception staff were always very helpful and the hotel feels very clean, fresh and looked after. Our room was huge and had a terrace with a plunge pool which I would 100% recommend. We had an unforgettable stay and hope we can come back one day!

All staff are friendly and helpful. The location is so unique as is the property, nestled into the hillside and our apartment is carved out from the cave yet roomy and modern. Lovely touches like complimentary prosecco for the plunge pool, water and coffee, with slippers and robes provided. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Cool pool and bar area. The views are to die for. It is a wonderful spot to see the Santorini sunset. We had dinner in their restaurant, which was expensive but I can't fault the food or service. I'd recommend it and feel fortunate I got to experience a night here with my friends. Wow!

Nothing - it's a gem of a place!

View is fantastic. Everything is as described. Nice breakfast

1. Unexpected circumstances where the hotel announced late in the evening that the electricity power will be off from midnight till 7am, citing some local power issues. We were not happy but luckily the room we got was a cave room where it was not hot inside. Still breathable without AC and light. 2. Unclogged pipe in the master bathroom. We used the bathtub and when we let the water go it caused the flooding of water from another pipe from the floor. We think it was from the blocked pipe beneath the bathroom. So the whole bathroom was flooded. We had to stop it using towers and bathrobes. We solved it ourselves but not a pleasant experience Other than this everything was perfect

Build, location and staff! Hospitality was the staff was great, also breakfast was very good, property is located in the best possible angle adding a lot of value due to its location for the reason you would visit oia. Very clear guidance from staff. They were also always ready to help with luggage and transportation.

They could probably give a couple of water bottles, given the cost of room that’s not too much to ask. The price of the transfer to airport, may be offer a cheaper alternative?

The honeymoon suite was perfect. Beautiful view of the sunset (and the donkeys along the oia stairs!), private little alcove with a great view and a hot tub. The staff was all so genuinely kind and wonderful. It was the perfect end to our vacation. The location was within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and things to do.

the pictures of the room was not clear.i asked them to send me pictures in Instagram and they refused. i booked "Superior Honeymoon Plunge Pool Suite with Sunset View" there is pictures shows that the pool is inside the room but unfortunately the room was not what i expected. we figure out that there is many kind of this room. one with two floor one with one floor

This was our third stay at Esperas over the last 10 years. As always the staff were very helpful, the accommodation lovely and the view unsurpassed!!

There were a couple of changes that disappointed us. The breakfast is now ordered the day before and served to you. We found that each day something was not right or forgotten and the food tea and coffee were cold. I have a gluten intolerance and they failed to remember every day for four days. A return to a buffet format would be much better. Additionally you cannot use the pool after 7pm because of the restaurant. (which is new since our last visit). We did find this inconvenient and as it is a 16plus resort, felt this curfew was unnecessary.

Room was just as advertised. Location excellent for sunset, but you don't get the full Caldera view. Nice and quiet. Very low background jazz.

Breakfast was a let down - You have to pre-pick breakfast, order it for a certain time, and then it is delivered to you at some point after you sit down. After a long and hot journey to get there, you get shoved an IPad to choose exactly what you want to eat and drink, item by item, before you get to see your room (they do offer you a non-alcoholic drink while you do this). The breakfast was simple and unimaginative.

The view is spectacular and the room offers great privacy. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is not something that we didn’t like but something that people must know before booking. They are many stairs to go down to the hotel and the rooms and if you want to go out for dinner at night, you would have to claim many steps to go up and walk about 10 mn to go to the heart of the village . Many steps in Santorini! Staff helps with suitcases!!!
