We stayed at Grace Studios for 5 nights and had a great time. The owner Yannis, met us from the Ferry port, helped us with our luggage and drove us 2 mins to the accommodation. We stayed in a self catering studio apartment with a beautiful shared terrace and great view of the port. Yiannis look time to share some great recommendations, we went to all of his suggested restaurants and enjoyed having coffee each morning at The Captains Suite, a cafe and bar owned by Yiannis on the port. The rooms were cleaned each morning with new towels and the terrace was good to dry our beach items. A great location - a short walk from the port to the accommodation and quiet. We’d recommend hiring a boat for the day and driving around the island. Thank you Yiannis and all the staff at Grace Studios - we had an amazing time and would highly recommend for anyone to stay here when in Symi.

We stayed in the 2 bed Grace Studios apartment with large shared terrace and 2 private balconies, which is 5 mins walk from the port and main town center. Breakfast was served at the Captains Suites on the waterfront at the port , which was really nice. You could order whatever you wanted from the breakfast menu. Yannis , our host, was very helpful. He collected us from the port and dropped us back at then end of the stay and was very informative about things to do on the island.

Shower a bit small

This was one of my favorite places I stayed in Greece this summer. The staff was exceptional - Yanni and Ourania were SO hospitable, they helped me from and to the port, explained where to go on the island, and made me feel right at home. The room was perfect with excellent facilities, and the bed was SO comfortable. A nice terrace as well. It's very close to everything - within a 5 minute walk of lots of bars, restaurants, cafes. You see the lovely view of the port in 3 minutes of walking. They have a cafe as well where you can either prepay for free breakfast or get it for a discount. I really loved this stay - will definitely return when I'm next in Symi!

The location was exceptional and the views were stuning. The hotel was just 5 mins walking distance from the port. The room had a very nice modern decor and both the window and patio had panoramic views of beautiful Symi. The hosts both Yiannis and Ourania were very hostile and friendly. They came by the port to pick us up to the hotel by car and also brought us back to the port during check-out. Symi is a beautiful island with lovely Neoclassical buildings build amphitheatrically. I would definetly visit again this paradise island with beautiful unspoiled natural beaches. I would definetly stay again at Grace Hotel & Studios.

First time staying overnight in Symi…. Very different to when I was a day-tripper years ago. The location is perfect… short walk to the port and its many amenities. Our 2 studios were very comfortable, modern, spotlessly clean with great AC and WiFi. Everything you could want was provided, including a hairdryer in the shower room. We did not use the kitchen facilities at all - except the fridge to keep water etc cold. I personally appreciated the tiny balcony for its shade and privacy….Symi is hot even in late September. The staff are exceptional. Yianni, the owner, collected us from the ferry and also left us back when we were leaving. He gave us very useful information (and badly needed water!) when we arrived ….. he was the perfect host. I must give special mention to Anna, who is a mainstay of the establishment. Rooms were serviced every day during our stay and she did everything to ensure we were happy. The “going away” presents of wine and HUGE apples were appreciated. Symi is idyllic….Needless to say… I intend to return to Symi and to Grace Studios. Just go… you won’t regret it!

Nothing at all. We were in studios 28 and 29, which have steep steps to their entrance…but a big terrace with great views over the port. If you want a studio on a lower level, you just have to ask Yianni in advance.

We like the hotel so much! Its location, the rooms, cleanness is amazing. The owner Yannis is such a great man and was so helpful since the moment we arrived, we really appreciate him for his great suggestions and the help!! The place is in great location - walking distance to everything you need; to the boats, most trend restaurant, to the great ice cream location etc. You’ll get everything you need for a perfect stay in Symi, while you enjoy the perfect scene. We will definitely come back and wouldn’t consider staying somewhere else.

Beautiful small hotel set in a quiet backstreet only a few minutes from the harbour. Great bakery just round the corner for breakfast. Hotel has a stunning garden terrace with hanging chairs and a variety of seating / tables. The rooms were beautifully furnished, boutique hotel style with character rooms. We had two double rooms, one opened onto a private terrace area. Staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Really appreciated lifts to and from the hotel with heavy luggage.

Great location, got picked up from the boat & driven to hotel. Was given great information from owner about all the things you can do on the island & how. Very helpful at anytime. Very comfortable stay & had a later check out & driven to boat. A magic island & place to stay.

Grace Studios are basic but clean and functional. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry and gave us lots of advice about things to do. They're located in a great spot just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour in a lovely quiet area without having to walk up lots of steps!

The shower curtain doesn't cover the entire shower so you end up with lots of water all over the floor. It didn't bother us too much, we used the bath mat to mop it all up and then put that outside to dry off but I'd worry that elderly people might struggle or slip over.

The hosts and staff were wonderful! Jiannis, the owner was very accommodating, responsive, and helpful! Jiannis also owns the Captain's Suites and Fortaras Cafe on the main street. They offer a 20% discount on breakfast and drinks to Grace Hotel guests. It is a very good deal!! The breakfasts at the cafe were excellent and Eleni was a delightful and welcoming host.

Our initial studio would have been perfect as it included a kitchenette and a beautiful terrace facing the ocean. Unfortunately, two couples staying next door occupied the terrace right outside our door with loud conversations, drinking, and eating all day and into the evening. Thankfully, Jiannis was able to move us to a room in the hotel section the next morning. Unfortunately, the wifi access was terrible and intermittent--which apparently is the same for all of the properties on the island. Symi is not the place to try to do remote work by internet.
