It was in a central location, was clean, the rooms were spacious and nice looking, almost had an old country feeling, which made it feel nostalgic. I did not use the pool, as I was only there for one night so I am not sure what that was like.

Some of the people in my group had a room upstairs by a neighborhood bar and said that it was really loud and they could not sleep. My room was at the front side of the hotel and the noise was manageable. There is a lot of noise in the area, but I guess when you’re so central that’s going to be the case.

Clean, well maintained, smaller hotel. I’ve been to several hotels in Antigua and love the old, colonial styles. They are usually run very well and this hotel is no exception. We were very lucky and had a room with magnificent volcano views. You are one block from Central Park— a great place to sit, relax and watch people pass by.

It is out of the hotel’s control— there is a loud disco or bar next door that is noisy until 12 AM. The pool is cold. Too cold for us to swim. There is not a restaurant in the premise, but you are in walking distance to many options.

Location was great. Peaceful setting, great volcano and rooftop view from upper floor bedroom windows. Swimming pool a little dilapidated but kids still enjoyed. Free coffee. WiFi was the best we experienced in Guatemala. I could work and take calls while kids played and watched online. Staff helpful when roads out of town were blocked by protests and we needed to stay longer. Laundry service good.

No breakfast! But a thousand options outside. There is a noisy late night bar pumping music next door. Even later on the weekends. There is no way to shut it out. We were able to live with it.

The hotel is very cute with an eclectic assortment of art, great textiles, high ceilings, spacious rooms, and great views of volcanoes. The location was great and close to everything you might want. The pool was lovely and views from the pool, even better.

The downfall of being close to everything was that it was REALLY loud at night, but particularly on weekends. It's right beside a bar that plays loud music until midnight or so. They do offer you earplugs, which helps, but if you are a light sleeper, this hotel is not for you. Beds were really hard.

I booked VERY last minute due to a poor experience at a hostel. This place was incredibly accommodating, adorable, and VERY centrally located to all the bars, food spots, and shopping I had planned for the Antigua part of my trip (everything was a 5-10 minute walk away). It's gated, so I felt safe, staff were always around and were super friendly. The property is lush and every morning I was greeted by the sunrise over the volcanoes. My only regret is not staying longer😊.

Bed was a little stiff and there is a bar right next door that was LOUD, but a minor inconvenience since everything else was incredible. Also, the bar is Barrio, go if you have some time because it's poppin.

Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are nice. Murals are beautiful. Decor complements the rooms. Close to cathedral and park. Lots of things close by.

The only main problem with the hotel is the BARrio next door. The bar’s music is loud and ends at midnight or a bit after. Even though I like the music, it was too loud when we had plans to get up early the next day for our activities. The hotel could also do better about a room safe. It is literally a small top drawer in a cabinet, which we didn’t feel safe to leave our passports. The lock could easily be opened. Beds are very firm.

There is no restaurant in the hotel and no breakfast provided. They do provide a voucher that gets you a small discount on breakfast at a restaurant a few blocks away. The hotel is located near a popular bar that played music very loudly until 1:00am on both Friday and Saturday nights

The hotel was in a wonderful location, so close to everything! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the pool was clean and refreshing, and the room was big and decorated beautifully. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there so they gave us the option to stay in a different room with a king bed but they did warn us it was over a bar that would be loud till 1 in the morning. Since we had just come back from hiking the Acetenango volcano we knew that sleep would come easily despite the noise and therefore we accepted the kind upgrade. The room was big and had a private terrace and was perfect for our needs. We slept soundly but honestly we were so exhausted that nothing could have kept us awake. If you are at all a light sleeper or are sensitive to noise I would not take this room. We appreciated that the hotel was upfront about the noise situation and like I said we were not affected by it but could have been had it been another day on our travels. The location, the pool, and the friendliness of the staff would definitely make me book this place again!

The bed was very hard and the room above the bar is very loud.

Establish a more guest-respectful procedure to track and bill for any in-room snacks consumed. The convenience of having the snacks available in each room has a modest value, but treating guests as if they are thieves immediately upon check in and then not letting them leave until it’s been confirmed that they are billed for any snacks they consumed is demeaning and subtracts from all the value of the snacks in the first place. Find a respectful procedure to track the snacks in the rooms or don’t offer the snacks in the first place.

Location is next to a bar as accurately stated in the hotel description. So what i didn’t like is just confirmation through experience of it at night. Since we had to keep windows open to keep the room cooler, we heard the bar patrons clearly. However we had the fan on and white noise on the phone playing noise which helped cover it up and we slept ok. So the overall experience can’t be a 10 however it only goes down to an 8.
