Location, rooms, breakfast My experience at Castle Garden Hotel in Budapest was great overall — the rooms were clean, the location is quiet yet central, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming. But what really impressed me happened after I checked out. I had accidentally left behind a bag with my training supplements — they’re expensive, but more importantly, they’re something I use every day. I honestly thought I’d never see them again. But when I reached out to the hotel, the reception was incredibly kind and helpful. They didn’t just tell me to sort it out — they actually offered to enter all my shipping details directly into the GLS system for me, and even called me exactly when they said they would to help with the payment. They packaged everything securely and kept me informed the whole time. Special thanks to Lili Dioszegi, who went out of her way to help me. Well Lili, you absolutely deserve it. This kind of care goes a long way — thank you again. To anyone considering this hotel: stop searching. Castle Garden Hotel is where genuine care still exists.😄

We came from Croatia with our car and it was very easy to get to the hotel. There is a possibility of making a reservation for the parking in front of the hotel or in the garage. We want to say thank you because we wanted early check in, around 11AM, and they made that possible. Also hotel is very close to the bus stops, metro and tram from where you can get to any part of the city. Rooms are very clean and also there is free tea or coffee, also you get mini chocolate as a welcome gift. There is a minibar so you can put you water or soda there. Also bathroom is beautiful and has everything from hairdryer to towels and shower gels. We liked the hotel and we go back to Budapest we will return here. Also hotel has s restauran so you can have breakfast or dinner.

First of all, the sleeping quality. The mattress was very comfortable, very warm duvet, 3 pillows of different sizes to choose and not a single noise, which is impresive as it has a fridge for the minibar and makes no noise at all. Good size room, with plenty storage space and a clever place for suitcases. Heating was fast and easy to regulate, both in the room and bathroom. That was my main point for a proper hotel as it was -2C max in Budapest in our stay. I appreciated the big sink in the bathroom and the non complicated shower heads, where you don't get wet trying to figure it out how to open the water. The staff was superb! We met around 5 different receptionits, we talked to all of them for different reasons and they were very kind and helpful. Even with last minutes request on 1st January when the taxi app was not working properly. Also, they all speak English. The location was great, a very frequent bus with the stop just 2 min away and 10 min walking to the Buda area, which I find nicer to stay than Pest. It is very safe and gets quitter at night but still plenty of food options. The cherry on the top was the Riso restaurant, that you can access from the Hotel Reception. It is busy so better to book but you won't fail eating there! You could literally eat there every day! The food is great quality, not expensive and they are so many option! Including traditional Hungarian dishes that were amazing! But they also have so many other dishes and good wine! Finally, the staff there was also very friendly and nice. Best hotel experience in a decade! Better than NH, Premier Inn, etc!!

Everything was top notch. From the reception to the accommodation. Before leaving, I reserved a parking space in the garage and it was waiting for me. The breakfast was excellent. We also tried the spa center and it was excellent. I must also praise Mrs. Lili at the reception who welcomed us and had an answer to every question we had. If I come to Budapest again, and I will, I know which hotel I will stay at.

I have no complaints about the accommodation and service. Everything was top notch. As described, so it was. No complaints.

From now on, this is our favorite hotel in Budapest! We’ll gladly recommend it to our friends and will definitely return ourselves. Peaceful and quiet atmosphere, very comfortable beds, excellent service, perfect location, and easy parking nearby. We also highly recommend visiting the Riso restaurant downstairs. Food is absolutely delicious! Our top picks: the BBQ pulled duck with roasted gnocchi and parmesan and the porcini duck meat-filled homemade tortelloni with goose liver sauce and parmesan.

I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Rooms are clean and provide the highest comfort. In the bathroom you can expect beautifully scented cosmetics. We’ve been greeted with much needed coffee, while in the room there was a small treat waiting for us. The breakfast - pure perfection. But the most precious thing is the staff - professionals, who are really empathetic and always open to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Whenever we come to the Budapest, we will stay here.

Loved it all, very calm genteel beautiful location within walking distance to the castle and lovely restaurants. The on-site restaurant is fantastic, amazing meat dishes and pizzas and healthy salad options. Many transport options into the centre of Budapest nearby. Great value with comfortable large rooms of a great standard. Thank-you for a lovely trip.
