Great location, service, and staff! The room and the bed were quite comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast as well as the silence of the streets.

The breakfast was great. The hotel was so so beautiful. And the location was perfect. The hotel staff on the desk were extremely helpful. The lighting and shower pressure was perfect in the room. The air con temperature was perfect. I loved staying here and would come back again. :)))

The rooms were not cleaned. Every day we came back to the room to find that only the bed had been made and that was it. Our towels were changed once in 5 nights. I would have expected a higher standard to match that of the beauty of the hotel. Little things could have made a real difference.... Tea spoons and cups were not changed or cleaned... The bathroom was not cleaned at all. I will still come back to this hotel as everything else was such a high standard.. but next time I will just ask the front desk to ensure our room is cleaned properly next time.

Good location in Buda, walking distance to Buda Castle which was our priority, has a unique design as it looks to have been part of a monastery, we got upgraded to a larger room which was a nice touch, the room was well equipped (TV, water bottle filled daily, nespresso coffee, tea), staff was friendly and additionally the staff were kind enough to provide iron and ironing board on a request, hotel was quiet, you could ask for daily cleaning by leaving a sign on the door and towels were changed daily, breakfast buffet had decent selection and the breakfast room was very nice

Small qualms: TV was unusable for us despite having one in the room due to 1) not being able to fully move away from wall to face us direct (metal mechanism too short) and 2) not having an option to log into Netflix/Amazon or Google Cast. Slippers would have been a nice touch, or at least to be available upon request. As many have noted the breakfast overall can be improved: better and bigger selection and especially better coffee

Property is in an exceptional location. We checked in quite late and only had one full day. The guy who checked us in was so helpful. He talked us through the position of the hotel in relation to all the attractions he suggested were good. Talked us through restaurants (and the one across the road did amazing Goulash soup). Then even took out a map and marked things on there for us! All of the staff were polite and helpful. You are able to walk to Castle hill and Fisherman’s Bastion. (Well there’s a lot of steps but it was ok). We even walked across the bridge and to the Basilica and Opera house.

Large room with great size en-suite. Exceptionally clean. Fridge with mini-bar, TV, free wi-fi, tea & coffee making facilities, comfy bed, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful bright breakfast room. All common areas bright and clean. Lovely hotel. A few minutes walk from Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. A small convenience store opposite, open til late. Bars, cafes and restaurants just a few steps away but a quiet street nonetheless! Tram and bus stops very close. Good location for transport to pest, or around 25 minutes walk.

Hot breakfast option not to out taste but plenty of alternatives. On the Buda side of Danube - most of our chosen attractions and activities were across the water in Pest, so quite a bit of walking.

Hotel was in Buda and in my opinion was in a prime position being one street back from the Danube. Ideally placed between the Chain Bridge and the Metro station. Quiet area which suited us. Hotel was in an old monastery- very rustic - stone walls on show. Big rooms with plenty of space to move around and plenty of storage. Bathroom was excellent - again large with walk in shower- water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was good - large selection of both hot and cold food including Hungarian specialties. I love my latte's and whilst the coffee machine did not do latte, I had cappuccino and it was awesome - I am now a convert. I could have taken that machine home !!. 2 Restaurants on site although we didn't try either. Amazing strawberry lemonade from the garden bar. Staff all very friendly and helpful with particular reference to the male on reception. Hotel was great value for money in comparision to other Hotels in Budapest, and in busier locations. Depends on what you want from your trip.

Beds were not that comfortable for our taste as the mattresses were quite hard. We had booked a king size/1 bed however, we got 2 singles pushed together - not great ! Pillows not great either. Towels were old and ideally could do with replacing. Very limited beer selection in the garden bar - 3 beers in total- a white beer, a larger and an alchohol free beer. Need more options.

Single duvets on a double bed

The location is a quick walk from the Chain Bridge and the funicular to Buda Castle. The building is a modern refresh of a heavy stone monastery - with thick stone walls, rooms are very quiet. Beds are comfortable and rooms are modern and clean - warm bathroom floors and a large shower. The breakfast buffet is extensive - meats/cheeses, hot dishes, pastries, salads, and self-service cappucino machines. Both of the two hotel restaurants have a Michelin star, and are fantastic (admittedly pricey), and there are other good places to eat of varying prices very nearby.

Bathroom drainage was not cleared and cleaned, so shower flooding room 003 resp. awful smell at times at the ground floor room 002 Carpets need steam-cleaning from stains Inner windows and window sills very dirty and full of cobwebs

Hotel location was perfect. Hotel and staff were outstanding. Breakfast location in the hotel was convenient but food offered and presentation was NOT great. Our best to Zoltan and the staff of the Michelin restaurant - despite the cost we ate there three times.

Breakfast location was great, quality of food was acceptable but continuously and best described as warm. Presentation was cafeteria style - sadly food was presented in large quantities without heat lamps resulting in the temperature issues. Smaller proportions and heat lamps would help this issue. A second coffee machine would help. Oddly, this hotel has two restaurants within the building. One is a Michelin Star.
