The ambience and location are great. The decor and feeling of space are amazing.

They were it seems a understaffed, most noticeable during evening and nights. There were no hotel doormen or porters. We had to carry our own luggage up to our rooms, which is fine. But my elderly parents, both in their 80s sure could have used the assistance. I was also wrongly pointed out as the culprit to damages to the property during our stay done by other guests. Fortunately, video showed clearly it was none of our group. Still, an unpleasant experience nonetheless. I has chosen the hotel due to it’s proximity to the Hop on and off bus stop near the Parliament. But because of the restorations throughout the city and near Parliament, that bus stop was not currently in use.

Amazing hotel with very friendly staff that are more then happy to help you with everything that you need. My advise, pay a bit more and book the suite ( room 326 ) its a amazing room with a lot of space, a shower and a bath. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Budapest.

From the moment I entered "the Palace" I was treated royally! Welcomed with a glass of champagne while I checked in. I arrived early but the reception prioritized my room . The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Breakfast was lovely with made to order dishes for everyone. An enormous selection of meats ,cheeses and desserts , not to mention coffees and champagne. 5 star 🌟 as well as sauna ,steam room and jacuzzi pools . Thank you for an incredible stay ! ❤️

The hotel is beautiful. It's a palace with high ceilings. You feel like entering history. The rooms where very comfortable and breakfast was extremely good. Location was very central and we could reach most attractions by walk.

The room had a lack of storage space overall. Although there was a comfortable wardrobe, in the bedroom there were only the top of the bedsides where to keep items. No drawers or units. Nothing big but could be improved. Also, we had a duplex room with stairs leading to the second bedroom. Our 4-year old kid used this bedroom. The stairs leading to it are extremely thin and it is very difficult to go up and down. If you are still sleepy you risk an accident easily.

We stayed at Aurea Ana Palace Hotel in August 2025 for just one night, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We booked a double room with a street view, and were immediately impressed by the beautiful historical interior, the impeccable cleanliness, and the hotel's elegant atmosphere. The location is also fantastic – just a short walk to the Parliament and the Danube, yet the area is very quiet. The room was very comfortable – especially the bed, which was perfect for a good night’s sleep. I was pleasantly surprised to find a yoga mat and a clothes steamer in the room — small details that show the hotel's attention to guests’ comfort and needs. The staff was very polite and helpful, both at check-in and when we had a small technical issue. I stayed with my husband, and we agreed together that this hotel offers a perfect mix of history, comfort, and excellent service. We would love to come back for a longer stay next time!

The only minor inconvenience was a temporary power outage in the room, caused by a problem with the programming of the electronic key cards. However, once we contacted the reception, the issue was solved very quickly and professionally.

The breakfast was outstanding, so many choices. Catered for gluten free too. And the breakfast hall os exquisite. The room, as is the entire hotel, was beautiful. There are spa pools, a steam room and a sauna in the basement which was a welcome treat after all the walking in the city. They provided us with takeaway breakfast boxes as we left early upon departure, which was a nice touch. It is really a 5* hotel and I would highly recommend it for it's beauty, service and location.

The only thing missing, which could add a 6th star would be a personal touch on arrival. We mentioned we were booking for a babymoon, and whilst everything (including a massage) was catered for, a person card or welcome gift would really elevate the experience. There was one day were we only received one towel instead of two, if we had called we would have received one immediately, no doubt. And one day were some cleaning products were left in our room. Very minor picky points, but should we have had those, and a 6th star was available, we would give it 6 :)

The hotel was superb. The room was spacious, elegant and the bed was super comfortable. Cleaners went above and beyond and we came back to a clean and tidy room every day. Clean towels replenished daily. The breakfast was beyond expectations and set us up for a day of sightseeing. The staff were lovely and very helpful in organising taxis, treatments and delicious cocktails at the bar. We tried the spa too - it is small but a nice treat at the end of our stay. It was a lovely experience for our 30th wedding anniversary and would definitely return .

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering both comfort and convenience. The location is perfect, close to major attractions yet quiet enough to ensure a relaxing stay. The dining experience is also remarkable — the food is fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the feeling of being genuinely cared for as a guest. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would not hesitate to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

The air conditioning definitely doesn’t work. It seems to be blocked which I’ve learned from experience it is something hotels do during spring and fall to save money.
