The location is outstanding: just in front of the Hungarian Parliament. We visited all main points of interest by foot, enjoying the beautiful landscape view of Budapest. The room was large and nice, supplied with some tea bags and an electric jar to boil the water. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast perfect in quality and assortment, daily prepared by the friendly, polite and helpful Carmem. Very cozy B&B with only 5 rooms. There are one subway station very close - 100/150 meters from the hotel what is very convenient. We used the subway to arrive from the central bus station and to go to the airport . The public transportation is very efficient in Budapest. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets nearby. We had very good time in this amazing city .

Firstly the location is just perfect for walking everywhere and is very close to the river. The accomodation as you enter is full of character as if stepping back in time, yet modern and well lit. The hall is well furnished, well lit, with helpful leaflets on where to visit. The room was very clean, lovely high ceilings, the beds were really comfortable. It was so quiet. The place was fully booked as we stayed, but we didn't not hear any of the other guests. Breakfast in the morning we were greeted by the lovely Andy - a very well trained and gentle Golden Retriever. He was the topic of many conversations with the lovely owner of the establishment, Carmen, who was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I came this time with my sister and I definitely plan to return with my husband. Thank you Carmen for a lovely stay. I thoroughly recommend Anabelle Bed and Breakfast!

The Anabelle location is perfect for exploring Budapest. With many sites within easy walking distance, those that are a bit further are no problem as Budapest has a great public transport system and the metro is very close. The apartment is very to the parliament and the river. From the outside (street) you would not know that there is an apartment block….. however we found this reassuring and it felt safe.

I wonder if Anabelle has missed a trick since it stopped doing breakfast, there was no interaction with the owners on arrival (not necessarily negative, but lacked the opportunity to talk to someone and enquire about local things). The housemaid and her dog were friendly,and the reception area was nice…. Just lacking a personal touch.

An excellent stay because it had everything we value: heating, blackout windows, refrigerator in the room, a kitchen with a coffee machine, an excellent and quiet location, quick responses to any questions, the possibility to store luggage after check-out. I would return and highly recommend it without a doubt!

Since breakfast was not included (which we were aware of when we booked, so it’s not a negative point), it would be perfect if there were a toaster and a stove to prepare a more substantial breakfast, but it was amazing anyway.

Very well organized when instructing us to let ourselves in on arrival. Lovely breakfast and helpful friendly staff. Close to everything and walking distance.

Only confusing thing was that we advised we would be leaving very early for our return flight. During our stay no one approached us for payment of our room and we assumed payment would be taken automatically at some point. On our way home we got a message to say we had left without paying??? I did a bank transfer once I arrived home, but this definitely needs a little more attention to detail for the owners own sake really. Didn't make a difference to our stay, we still enjoyed it and would recommend.

Easy location for all the highlights the city has to offer yet quiet, small and perfectly presented. Lift to access the property if you don’t want to use the stairs. Right on a metro line and links to public transport. Very secure and safe location. Breakfast was delightful - good variety of food and drink and nice to meet the others staying. Our room had the most comfortable bed/s and the best shower we’ve had in a B&B! The host was very informative and allowed us to leave our bags after check out to collect when we were ready to leave the city. Would highly recommend for the personal touch rather than a hotel.

This was our third stay in Anabelle B&B and we will definitely stay there again. There is always a very warm welcome there. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. And you can leave your luggage there after you have checked-out if your flight home isn't until later in the day. The room was very comfortable with kettle and fridge in the room. And a good powerful shower and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were very good - with lots of choice. The location is very convenient for us: very near to a metro station and for sightseeing next to the parliament and the Danube - and only a few minutes walk to St Stephen' Basilica - with all the restaurants etc.

Maybe difficult to rate 10/10 for reasons below, but the location is great - just a few meters from tram and metro stations and in 5-mins walking distance from vibrant city centre. I believe the building is from late 19th century, which also gives a charm to the place.

Some refurbishment for batteries and shower would be nice to have, as well as teeth cleaning kit available in the bathroom, and black tea, coffee and biscuits attached to a kettle in the room. Great to have variety of cooked eggs at breakfast, but other hot meals are missed - eg sausages, as well as any beautiful Hungarian cakes.

The accommodation is in an excellent location a few steps from the parliament building. Check in and check out without any problems, contactless check in. I received all the information regarding the stay in advance via a message on the booking. The room is nice, the bed is comfortable, but very low. Bathroom clean. The only thing that surprised us in the room was the furniture straightened above the bathroom and the lack of daylight (the windows were to the courtyard, which is really small). It is a very quiet neighborhood and accommodation, you don't hear any noise from the street. Since it was October, it was a bit cold in the accommodation, and it was not possible to heat it up. Breakfast great, possibility to order fresh scrambled eggs. A wide selection of pastries. Personal is very nice, we would definitely recommend this accommodation.

I highly recommend this accommodation in Budapest! The location is excellent, putting you right in the heart of the city and close to all major attractions. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding; everything was spotless and well-maintained. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience—I would absolutely stay here again!
