Great location close to the Chain Bridge and below Buda Castle. Fabulous view from our room of the Danube & Parliament. Our housekeeping complaints re the first room offered were handled & resolved swiftly. Our room was comfortable & the service provided was excellent. Gym and sauna in the basement were great. The steam room was not functioning. A good breakfast with plenty of options.

The rooms would benefit from refurbishment- carpets in the rooms on first floor are worn and stained and some of the furnishings are a bit below par.

Very good hotel. Wonderful location - views of key Budapest sights from front and back, also is on tram line and bus line and short walk to metro, and a short walk to Chain Bridge and city esplanade, and to a small neighbourhood mall for essentials. (I stayed 8 nights). Excellent sound proofing of rooms. Nice big rooms, comfortable medium-firm beds, choice of pillows. Art work used was interesting, quirky. Breakfast good, wide variety of foods. Restaurant dinner also had good variety at reasonable prices. Other small cafes and restaurants nearby or easy to reach.

Safety audits not done - my second room had an unsafe plug (fixed) and an unsafe bath support rail (not fixed). My first room seemed to have a dusty air conditioner that could not be cleaned, making me sneeze a lot in the room, but I was able to change rooms and problem was solved. Service at reception desk a little patchy but overall good.

We stayed at Deluxe Family Suite and it is pretty spacious. Location is pretty convenient - walking distance (may be not the shortest, but still) to most of city attractions. Lobby/ rooms are nice / modern. Our parking place was right in front of the hotel which was very convenient (though they charge extra).

I was hoping for a room with a view on Danube (it's pretty much across the beautiful parliament building) - but Deluxe Family faces inner court :( We had 2 single beds (good) + sofa bed, which was very inconvenient (felt like planks with a blanket on top). If anyone from administration is reading this - trying sleeping on it - hope it will motivate you to change for a different model :)

We were in room 412, a superior river view room. I don't think we've ever had a more breath taking view from a hotel window. The parliament building was literally just across the river, which when lit up at night looked unreal, more like a painting. Breakfast was very good, with a choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, cold meats, cheese & salad. Then a warm section with crispy bacon, little frankfurter sausages, scrambled egg, mushrooms & beans. Finally toast, butter & jam what a great start to the day. All the staff spoke excellent English and were attentive to your needs.

Great location,close to city center and most of the attractions.Nice view of the parliament and the chain bridge.Good size room,very good breakfast(it is Hungary after all),Polite and helpful staff,overall a great stay.

Now,this might be just my quirkiness,but i find it extremely annoying when hotels cheap out on providing bottled water in the rooms.I don't deny that the drinking water from the tap it's safe to consume,but surely hotel management is aware that not everybody drinks tapwater...Some, like myself only drink sparkling water,push comes to shove -bottled stillwater....but never-ever tap water from the bathroom?!?..Especially when the hotel provides bottled sparkling/ still water for breakfast..in proper glass bottles no less,so it can be done.

Warm and attentive service at the reception! The view from the hotel is truly exceptional. Please note that the room types vary significantly - some offer a scenic Danube view, others face the inner patio, and a few have only a small window. If the view matters to you, it's best to inquire in advance. Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable throughout the hotel.

The room I stayed in could benefit from a few minor improvements - the door was a bit difficult to open, and the bathtub showed slight wear, with some cracks and peeling visible. However, these were small inconveniences that did not detract from the overall experience. Be aware: the bathtub is notably higher than standard, so take extra care when using it :)

Location, location, location. The view out of the window and the size of the room.

This would've potentially earned a 5 stars from me if it didnot have the following problems: 1) Staff at the front office not friendly and helpful. 2) The carpets in the room were very worn out and there was a peculiar smell trying to camouflage the mustiness. 3) The toilet was yellow and looked uncleaned for days. Nothing that a bit of harpic wouldn't fix. For me, I always rate the housekeeping by the cleanliness of the toilet 4) The toilet door was worn out from the inside. 5) The bed was creaky and uncomfortable.

The location was great- on the Buda side of the Duna and close to the Szenchenyi Bridge. The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The bar was nice, and the waiter was very helpful (very patient when I was practicing my Hungarian). The rooms were very eclectic – with bowling ball nightstands and a sewing-themed carpet – but very spacious. The views from the room were beautiful, on one side you can see the parliament and on the other side you can see the Fisherman's Bastion.

The carpet had a few pieces of lint- not tragic- but maybe not well-vacuumed.

The hotel is unbelievably good and completely exceeded my expectations. The view from the room was stunning, the room was impeccably clean and quiet (I believe rooms are sound proof), the location is extreme;y convenient and allowing to explore Buda side walking. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I ever had in a hotel. The staff was very supportive, all of them were very helpful and assisted us with anything we needed. The breakfast is extremely rich and worth the additional charge, it is also very well organised and the halls where it takes place are also beautiful. The airport transfers provided by the hotel are extremely convenient and very comfortable - drivers are very polite and accurate with timing. The restaurant and lobby bar are exceptional - food is of great quality and you can enjoy your drinks and dinner while having the Parliament building in front of you. Everything about the hotel was just exceptional. I would definitely book it again and recommend it to everyone!

Great view from the river view room, ideal location to visit Fisherman's Bastion, great access for sightseeing with a tram station in front of the hotel and a metro station within a nice strolling distance. The Chain Bridge is also not so far to walk to. And the rich breakfast especially with a variety of fruits and vegetables.

While the staff at the check-in desk was very thorough, informative and friendly, the staff at check-out was only interested in checking if there was any open account and she didn't bother to ask how our stay was, and even seemed a little annoyed when asked to issue the formal bill. It should be a little more than that after a 4 night stay.
